Beautiful location. Beach is gorgeous and the facility is close to shopping and dining, all within casual walking distance. The staff is excellent. The bellman, Nathan, was very helpful with unloading of our luggage, escorting us to check in and then accompanying my wife to our room while I parked our car. On arrival to our room, Nathan immediately noted that the staff had not completed the cleaning process prior to our arrival and contacted the front desk to have someone come finish the job. He then followed up at a later time to ensure that someone had taken care of us. The young lady who came to finish the cleaning set up made sure we had toilet paper, towels and sheets and blankets. She informed me that they have different companies doing the housekeeping for the facility and that hers was not the one for our room but she was glad to handle the problem for us. I really appreciated both Nathan and her extra effort.

We couldn't be happier about our stay here. Judy is very responsive to any questions you might have. You probably won't have any though, because there is very little that she hasn't thought of to make your stay like you are at your own home. The View on the Lanai was beautiful. You can see the ocean, the pool area as well as the Koi pond. We enjoyed our breakfast there every morning. It is conveniently located close to the elevator and washer and dryer. The people couldn't be nicer and are always ready to answer any questions. I can be picky, especially when it comes to an ocean view..This did not disappoint. After a day of snorkeling, walking, site seeing you come home to the most comfortable bed. I truly cannot recommend this place enough. We would absolutely stay there again.

We loved our stay. The condo had everything we needed. Nice kitchen, sitting area, king size bed. Beautiful view of the ocean and grounds of property. We loved sitting on the lanai. And so close to whalers village, restaurants. Perfect to walk either to end of boardwalk to see penguins at Hyatt, or opposite direction to Sheraton…or for even better longer walk to Dukes restaurant

Beautiful property, location and views from the room. Room definitely needs some updates and some repairs. Bed was comfortable, pull out bed needs new mattress, No real closet space , kitchen needs new appliances. I will notify manager and hope they get repaired and replaced.

My husband and I had a wonderful honeymoon at The Whaler towers - watching whales breach from the lanai while taking in the sunrise over the west Maui mountains and sunset over the ocean are memories we will cherish forever.
We enjoyed using the beach chairs and snorkel gear, and saw colourful fish and turtles at Black Rock just a short walk up the beach! The property is beautiful and the other guests are so friendly. Walking distance to many great restaurants and right next door to Whalers Village, you really can’t beat this location. It was also nice to have the option to cook some of our own meals and to have a fridge for our perishables.
Judy was very prompt in answering the questions we had once we arrived. We loved our stay here and hope to be back again! Xo

Have stayed in this complex before. Very convenient close enough to Lahaina. Right on the beach good for swimming and snorkeling. Kanapalli a great beach. Took seamaui whale watching trip from beach can recommend. Lots of walks in front of the condo. Several restaurant’s around. Sunset from condo wonderful. Condo very well appointed, kitchen has everything you need. Comfortable bed. Lanai great with high chairs that allow you to see over the railing. Well kept clean complex nice pool and hot tub with a hymn as well as pickle ball and tennis ( all provuded as part of the condo fee)

The location is excellent. Right on the beach, with a heated pool. I loved that we could walk to restaurants and bars nearby. The Whaler theme was very appropriate, as the whale show going on in the ocean did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nate, the Bellman and Elise, the Concierge went above and beyond. Our only disappointment was that the bathtub shower controls fell apart and needs replacing.

What a great place! Great location direct oceanfront on Kaanapali Beach. Great shipping next door at Whaler’s Village, and two of the best golf courses on Maui directly across the street. These are all privately owned residences. Our studio apartment had an unbelievable ocean and Mountain View from the lanai. The studio comes fully equipped and has a full sized kitchen. Very clean! Nothing bad to say here!

The Whaler is in a great location for easy access to many activities. The Stafford helpful and professional. There is a nice beach right on the property. The pool is a bit small, but clean. The condo itself could use an update, particularly the kitchen and bath. The owner replied promptly to any questions or concerns.

This was my husband and I's first trip to Maui and what a phenomenal vacation we had. This property is in a prime location, close to so many activities. When not out being tourists we spent all of our time on the lanai. The sunsets and whale watching from the lanai were the highlights of our trip. I'd say we saw over 100 hundred whales breaches during our 8 day stay. Great communication with the owner; what a great property.

Condo was as advertised, will be booking it again. Very clean and lots of beach items, umbrella, beach chairs, cooler, blender, bbq items available in unit. Owner was very responsive with what I thought was a freezer issue, but it is was user error. Kitchen could use a refresh on some basics like salad bowl, a few matching Tupperware, and a few more forks/knives. We had a great time at the Whaler as always and will definitely look to book 815 again.

Check in and check out was super easy and the staff was very friendly. The balcony (lanai) had a beautiful view of the ocean where we could watch the sunset and see whales every morning. We recently stayed at the Whaler in this condo and we had a great experience. The Whaler is a first class facility with a great beach and shopping right next door. This condo was really nice and comfortable with a wonderful view of the ocean and Lanai. The unit was super clean and well stocked with everything you need. The owner was easy to communicate with and very interested in making sure we had a good experience. We hope to stay here again in the future.

My wife and I stayed at this Kaanapali condo for 1 week and enjoyed our stay. The location of the condo is top-notch, adjacent to the Whaler’s village for shopping a good eats. The condo is conveniently on the 8th floor and near the elevators, giving you stunning views and privacy from ground-level foot traffic. Only notes to mention were a few items within the condo itself. We hoped for a smart TV, however the TV only had access to cable and a DVD player, and the image was so-so. Snorkel gear was not provided by the unit, however is available for rent at the Whaler Towel Hale. We were also unable to figure out how to maneuver the faucet to transform the shower into a bathtub. Communication with the host was slightly delayed, however we always received thorough answers.
Overall, the Whaler is superb and my wife and I would stay at this unit again with the knowledge we gathered during our stay.
