The apartment was exceptionally clean and tidy. Could not fault it. Location convenient to everything with amenities and restaurants close by. Host was very accomodating in extending our booking a day early so we could arrive early and relax before exploring.
Would definitely recommend staying here again.

Great spot, close to shops, Waikiki, restos. Out the back sliders we were reminded of Hitchcock's Rear Window, as no less than 20+ buildings are in view. Still, felt very private and quiet.

Great location if you want to be near the water and the park at the north end of Waikiki. Easy walk to restaurants and public transit options. The small kitchen was well equipped. The property management company was particularly responsive. All directions for entry et al were exceptionally clear. The only down side of the building is that the Ilikai Marina has no pool. Then again, the beach is about a quarter mile away. The room had a fold up beach chair for renter use. Two would have been better.

The pics showed a view of the ocean, instead we got the parking ramp. But we didn’t hang out in the room anyways other than to sleep. Everything worked out well. The hallways are dated but the room was up to speed.

Everything was "as advertised"...clean, comfortable, and felt very safe. The problem was with the TV. There were 3 controllers , and no instructions on how to activate the TV reception. I tried everything. A friend eventually went through at least 7-8 steps and got reception. I was never able to repeat that maneuver on my own, so could never get the TV on at all. Unreasonable to think that most folks could. Also, air conditioner is quite noisy, day and night.

A sound alternative to higher priced choices, this unit meets all the requirements for a great Ala Moana district stay. The thermostat was upgraded but the AC can be loud as many units are in buildings without central air. A word of caution on the refrigerator. It was set to 9 and eggs and fruit will freeze. Check the setting and lower it to 6 or below and you should be fine. Also, there is simply a stove top. Don’t expect an oven, but who comes to Hawaii to cook!

This is an old property, what can I say? Sliding glass door wouldn’t open more than a few inches. A two burner stove isn’t a “full kitchen”. The instructions for using the door code were insufficient. There was no key pad to be seen. Ran my fingers over it to no avail. Called 3 numbers before talking to someone who repeated the instructions but didn’t tell me how to activate the keypad. He was no help. Many hours later got in with the help of a realtor friend who lives nearby. I’m sure that I’m not the only one who has had this experience.

We pretty much just slept and showered here. Easy to get in and out and having a keyless access system was very convenient. Clean room and functional. Would consider this place again for a similar stay.

This little condo was perfect for us. It was clean and updated. Exactly as described in the post. Best of all, great location! Not too close to the tourist hot spots in Waikiki, which we wanted. I would be happy to stay here again.
