We had a good stay without any major issues. We needed to clean a few things before we settled in for the first night. There was something on the wall in the bathroom and the toilet was loose and kind of sideways. We mopped the floor because it smelled like feet. You don't want to come in late at night or you'll have difficulties finding a parking spot. Other than that everything was excellent.

The studio is in a great Location, not only the resort is beautiful, in front of the beach, with some shops and restaurants around but also Wailua is in the center of the island, easy to go to any direction.
The studio is very confortable and charming. I think it can have some small improvements, but it was a very good stay.

The location of the Islander is ideal for a stay in Kauai. It is close to everything, walking distance to a great shopping center that includes a market, excellent restaurants, it's on the ocean and has a nice pool. In addition, it is centrally located with easy access to both Princeville as well as Poipu. We made the property work for us however it was not the stay we were hoping for. To be fair the pricing was probably in line with the accommodations. Just know if you book here it's more of a place to hang your hat during the day and a good launching pad for doing things on the island rather than a place you will want to hang out at for the day etc. Had I read the fine print I would have understood that there was NO place to cook anything outside of a toaster oven. There is a refrigerator, but it is dorm room style. You won't want to bring anything back to the room to eat as there is little space in the room for that. There is an outside patio which is nice. In short, the condos are older and outdated, they are what one would call "sufficient". The pool is ok, loved the bar at the pool. Being near the water is a huge plus however the beach is not very accommodating for stretching out on a towel or for swimming as the pacific is a bit rough in this area. The beach is however beautiful, and you can roll out of bed to easily see spectacular sunrises. It has a nice boardwalk with GREAT accessibility to Lava Lava a fantastic restaurant. It may have been just me but trying to understand how to get into the property was challenging. They use a tumbler realtor lock, and it took me a long time to figure it out. You communicate with the landlord or management company via text and for the most part they were responsive. I think they would just wait me out when I asked questions knowing that eventually I would figure out on my own the answer to my question. They were always nice and polite. I am not sure this would be my pick in the future, but maybe.

Great stay with everything we needed including beach chairs/snorkel gear. We loved that it is ground level and the porch was lovely and near but not too close to the pool.
Also close to Lava Lava Beach club which was delicious!
Only item to note is there was a weird smell that we could not get rid of throughout our stay…

Liked being close to beach and pool nice are overall.
Condo needs updating, better lighting, and front door will injure you it’s so heavy and kicks back too quickly. Wife received skin injury as we tried leaving. Try add a doorstop.

Room was nice. Extras in room, beach chairs cooler, boogie boards were nice to have. Property was beautiful. Great location. Like we could walk to several restaurants and shops. Only suggestion to give some instructions on the TV remotes. 3 remotes there took us some time to figure out which ones to use.

We loved the unit and location. Definitely met our needs. It was a dim unit as many bulbs were out but other than that is was perfect for our family of 3. Lots of chairs, towels, boogie boards, coolers, snorkels gear. And the pool bar was just steps away as was the ocean!

We stayed here the first few days of our trip and LOVED it! It’s in such a great location on the island, easy driving distance to Waimea Canyon, the falls, Ke’e beach/hike and so much more! Would definitely recommend to anyone and hopefully will be back someday soon! This condo was great! Perfect spot for our little family to get 1.5 weeks of sun and sand. The condo is steps away from the pool, bar, front office, and parking area, but was never loud. Being on the ground floor was awesome to let my 2.5 year old run around in the grassy lawn. The beach adjacent to the condos has rougher water, but its an easy walk [or drive] south to a calmer spot. There are restaurants and coffee right next door and a small [but expensive] grocery store is very walkable too - Island Country Market. The condo had plenty of cups, plates, silverware, small coolers, beach chairs, boogey boards, and snorkel gear for us to borrow.
**My only complaint is that someone stole a pair of our sandals - my husband's nice Teva flip flops went missing off the front door steps one morning. So keep your things INSIDE just in case.**

The location was great as well right behind a shopping center. When I return for my next trip to Kauai, I will be looking to stay in this unit again!

We had to check out of another unit and into this one and BOY was there a difference! We felt so so appreciated as customers and were so pleased to stay with Vacation Realty. They really made us feel at home with the cleanliness of the room, their friendly and highly available staff, as well as their sweet gift basket they left for us on the tv console table. They went above and beyond and we will definitely book this room and/ or another one of their properties again!

Islander on the Beach #137 was convenient and charming. The unit slept 4 of us comfortably and there were shops and eateries nearby. Unfortunately, we had to transfer out of the unit prior. This is a review of Shannon at Vacation Realty Hawaii instead. Shannon was awesome. She gave us a heads-up as soon as we landed that there was a plumbing issue with the unit and she worked to move us to a different unit. Since accommodations were difficult to come by, Shannon placed us in a different unit. Shannon did an awesome of keeping us abreast of the situation and proactively moved us into a different place without us having to ask/complain. Thank you!

The place was just a pictured. Not very big but everything we needed. The complex was perfect for our trip (loved the pool, hot tub, and bar with ocean views). We took our 2 kids and loved being on the first floor so we could put them down for bed, turn on the monitor, and sit outside and maybe even grab a drink at the bar all while being in sight-line of our unit and just steps away. Beach and snorkel gear were available in the unit and the rental company also brought in a pack n play and high chair at no extra charge. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

This property has so much to offer. if you don’t go looking for it you won’t realize that the ocean is so close to your room. There are cute shops, all kinds of restaurants and a small market within 3 minutes of walking. We had a great time.
