We’ve stayed at Hali’s Kai 5 times previously and have always loved it. It’s a great location; the pool is very nice and we enjoy the bar and restaurant. We checked in around 3:15. When we arrived at the unit, it was being cleaned and we were told that she would need 45 minutes to finish. When we returned, the windows were wide open and the air conditioning was on. This was our first time renting this unit, and it was not on par with other units that we have rented. There were several maintenance issues. Upon arrival, we noticed that a couple of light bulbs were burnt out. We looked around and did find spare bulbs to replace 1 of the 4 that weren’t working. There were two more serious issues with the bathroom: one of the sinks has a constant drip and there was no stopper in the bathtub, rendering it unusable. We called the office and a maintenance man came out, looked and said that he would need to order parts. Neither issue was fixed during our stay. We would probably stay at Hali’i Kai again, but would not book this unit.

Comfortable Well stocked kitchen Nice decor, plenty of seating Good location in complex, although a long walk to pool. We love the pool area and bar/cafe. Staff was great, especially Sapphire. The issues below can be easily fixed. Yes, we would rent this unit again. AC did not work most of the time and although maintenance came to reset it, it still would not work. Fans did not work in the small bedroom and small bathroom. Again, maintenance tried to resolve but to no avail. Fan was slow in master bedroom No remote for tv in master br Small was bedroom very hot, windows do not open, no ac, no fan

This place was not quite up to par. The barbecue tank was empty....it took them 2 days to bring tank back. The washing machine was so dirty we told management no response! We told them a second time they sent maintenance .....it was so full of sand and lint and nobody had been cleaning it! The place was not that clean upon checking in...... dirty fingerprints on walls in bathrooms . Management doesn’t care!
