The views were amazing. Almost every day we would see turtles along the shore and whales in the bay. The location was centric for everything we wanted to do. We had a rental car so we had planned to drive to numerous sites. This property provided one parking spot in a parking garage (with roof) which was very convenient. We simply took the elevator from the basement to the 4th floor to reach the property. The property provided plenty of room for us to spread out including our dive gear. The kitchen was well appointed and included everything we needed for coffee in the mornings. Located within walking distance were restaurants, small stores, a gas station, and tours leaving the harbor next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Everything about this property was a 5 out of 5 stars. The unit was very clean and everything was in good condition. Air-conditioning worked well. Beautiful ocean views and lots of turtles. No direct beach access but the beach is about a half mile away, so short drive or walk. Maalaea harbor is a very short walk away. Property manager was very responsive. Would stay again and recommend to others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! We saw a whale breach and turtles. The location is central to the island even though there isn't a lot to do in Ma'alea and the and there is not a beach adjacent to the property

We had the most amazing vacation and the location of this condo was perfect!! It was perfect! The views are breathtaking and it’s so peaceful. We were able to grill and eat down by the ocean. I would highly recommend this condo!

The property was perfect for my husband, teenager, and I. We LOVED this location, between Kihei and Lahaina. I already miss watching the sunrise over Haleakala on the lanai. Being able to watch the turtles and whales from the lanai was absolute magic!!

My wife and I stayed in the condo from Dec 28 to January 3rd and I must say the only negative thing is we should have not wasted 5 nights in Honolulu and just stayed there the whole time. Awesome, very central location perfect for driving out for day trips in all directions.
The condo was nice clean and very comfortable and the communication with the property manager was fantastic.
I would definitely recommend this property and will more than likely stay here again. All together it was a great experience.

Condo was good. The unit was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. Loved having AC in living room and bedroom as many locations don't have this. View was amazing. Definitely saw lots of turtles swimming. Building and area is quiet and relaxing.

My husband and I have been coming back to Milowai # 406 for a number of years, we love the AMAZING ocean view from the condo. We 've stayed at other units in this building but since finding #406 we won't stay anywhere else. Chad is very nice to work with and very easygoing.
We love how quiet and peaceful this building and area is , even at the height of the Christmas holidays , where other areas are crowded, noisy and have traffic jams, Maalaea is low key.

We have stayed at this location several times over the years and enjoy the view and central location to either end of Maui. Not a shopping or restaurant destination but has some basic services. The harbor has several fishing, snorkeling, site seeing and excursions that leave from here.
Depending on time of year it can be really windy, but deck is on leeward side from our experience.

We were totally pleased with this perfect condo. Has every amenity you need for your vacation. Could not have been any better. If you're looking for a central location & away from the crowds this is a true gem minutes drive to Kihei & Lahaina or take a stroll to the Marina & Maui Ocean Centre, great gift shops & convenience store all within walking distance. Enjoy happy hour at Beach Bums & some fantastic food!

What a great view, we felt we were on the ocean! The waves were very peaceful and soothing as well. The condo was nice and clean with all the amenities needed for a temporary stay. Sandy's son Chad was awesome and great to deal with . . . mahalo!

Recently stayed in June 2016! Sandy your condo was perfect... We had such a relaxing time watching the sea turtles. The view is just breath taking. Next time we are to stay longer.. For sure will be coming back to stay!

Sandy, the owner is wonderful to work with. We did have a small issue when we arrived, but she ensured that it was resolved quickly. The condo’s location is ideal for people that want to explore many parts of the island, and especially for those looking for a quiet area with fewer tourists. It is located within walking distance to several restaurants, the Ocean Center, mini-golf, and the marina. We recommend Beach Bums. It is an easy walk down to a long stretch of beach. Each time we went, there were very few or no other people on it. It was splendid. We took several long walks and even played in the water there.
We did spend one afternoon in the pool, but be warned it is not heated, and even with the warm weather; it was not warm enough to spend very much time in. In fact, the ocean felt warmer than the pool. We didn’t come to Hawaii to enjoy the pool, so that didn’t bother us much.
The view from the condo was excellent. Each afternoon we sat out on the lanai and watched the sea turtles.
Maalaea is very windy, but it helped keep the area cool. It was warm and humid during our visit. The wind also worked well at night, as there is no A/C in the bedroom. With the window open, and the ceiling fan running, it felt perfect!
Overall, we recommend Sandy’s condo. I only wish I had packed less since we had a washer and dryer and needed less than half of what we brought with us.

The condo was mostly very nice. The views were spectacular, you can see turtles and whales easily off the balcony. The parking is nice, elevator is very helpful, and the kitchen is mostly well appointed. The one downside is there was a small rat in the condo, and when I contacted the host she never responded to my emails or text messages. While I enjoyed my stay, the rat was a bit of a downer. As I have friends in Hawaii, I do realize they can get in despite best efforts of owners and tenants to keep them out.
