I’ll start by saying the room has an amazing view. The room itself was okay as well. Communications with Arvis gets prompt responses once you notify him. One of the glass doors doesn’t lock and I understand you’re on the 19th floor but a room should be secure. The door to the room was about to fall off the hinges. You literally had to lift the door up and pull it closed. This was brought up in a previous review from Nov 2022 and not fixed. A minor thing was one washcloth in the whole place. Notified Arvis and more washcloths were dropped off the next afternoon.

The view from this place is incredible. You are surrounded by Hawaii. Beautiful unit, very clean, right in the middle of the action but the best place to be is out on the lanai. Thank you!!

I will say The View on this property is as advertised. Waking up and looking out into the Lagoon and ocean was very relaxing we stayed for 7 days and five of those days we enjoyed the beach pool and shopping two of those days we hung out in the condo and just enjoyed the condo. The furniture could use updating, but that's a minor thing as the condo was fully stocked with everything you need for cooking cleaning and also swimming. You must know that the condo is for sale and there's a possibility the property manager could ask you to leave while the property is being showed. That happened once during our 7-Day stay. Overall this was an amazing vacation, love the condo and will be coming back to the Ilikai Hotel for sure

This condo is absolutely amazing! The views of this property are breathtaking! The location is fantastic! Definitely recommend the valet parking ($45 a day but well worth it). We all loved this place!

The Ilikai is just the right amount of Waikiki! Close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants, but far enough away from the most crowded parts of the strip to not get claustrophobic. And oh, what a property! Wraparound windows and lanais, with an amazing 19th-floor view. Updated flooring was great, and a well-stocked kitchen. We also appreciated the beach gear in the foyer closet. Couldn’t have asked for more.

The view at this condo is amazing! The condo itself was very spacious and equipped nicely. Everything seemed to work properly and it was pretty clean.
It does need some updating, but for the most part these were minor things imo. And it certainly didn't affect our stay while we were there.
The Ilikai hotel is really nice and there is plenty to do within a 20 minute walk of the hotel. The lagoon was a great place to hang out at the beach and the pools were nice.
Although this condo is in the Ilikai hotel, it's not really part of the hotel. There is no access to hotel parking or the fitness center. There is parking in and around the hotel. You can valet park your car for $45 a night. There also parking at the marina for $1 an hour, but parking can be difficult if it's busy as there aren't many spaces. Lastly you can park at the garage overnight for $28.
The only small issue we had was that we were imformed via messaging that the condo was for sale and they would be showing it on 2 of the days we were there. We weren't really asked, just told that it was taking place and that we were welcome to be there or not. So we had to change some plans because we definitely didn't want to be there while other people were in there. We were a little uncomfortable other people would be in there with all of our stuff. And we also felt the need to tidy up before we left.
Overall this is a really nice place. It does need some updates but we would stay there again for sure.

Small bathroom was very cramped for two people. Needed hooks in both bathrooms. No fans in the bathrooms. Bigger trash can in the kitchen would have been appreciated. Overall, we LOVED our stay!! Spacious apartment, beautiful views, very comfortable. Definitely a great location!!

We went to Pearl Harbour, did an island tour, a luau and went snorkelling at Turtle Canyon and all pick up points were incredibly close. We also managed to walk to the mall and back and got an Uber up to Diamond Head and walked back. We’ve walked to dinner every night. Besides the perfect, awesome location, this condo has the absolute best views with sun sets every night, front row seat to the fireworks from the Hilton on Friday and perfect set up for parents with 2 kids where everyone has their own space. Our stay has been very comfortable.

Overall great stay. We really enjoyed the ocean and marina views in 19th floor corner unit. Location is perfect also. Ilikai hotel is very convenient with store, pools, coffee shop, and 2 restaurants. Minor updates and cosmetic issues with condo did not detract from enjoyable stay. Unit is well equipped with comfortable beds and furniture.

It was everything I hoped for. Spectacular views of the ocean and Marina. Loved that it was a hotel and condo building, with amenities such as roof top and main floor restaurant, David’s ice cream shop, souvenirs shops and more. The quality of the restaurant food was excellent. Just a short walk to beautiful Waikiki beach. The building was clean, the people were friendly and accommodating. The host was incredibly kind and of service. Groceries could be ordered on line from Safe Way and delivered to condo. Roomy condo, with rooms at each end of condo, conducive to privacy. Good air conditioning and lots of hot water. Kitchen well stocked. Washer and dryer at end if hallway, very busy, but useful. Sofa and living room chairs and beds very comfy. Kitchen chairs need new seats. Appliances all worked well. Again views are spectacular and make it such a treat to spend family time in the condo. Some little things needs to be fixed such a door screens and wallpaper, small tares.

Absolutely lovely. Dated furnishings but who cared when you sat on the lanai and looked at the most amazing views EVER! Close to restaurants, shopping, the beach and the beautiful lagoon.
A special shout out to Ardyvas for allowing us to stay an extra day until the 1st, and all we had to do was leave the money on the counter for her to pick up! Thank you for a wonderful vacation! Would love to come back!

My family and I stayed in the condo during our extended holiday trip during December 21-30. The location was terrific and the views were amazing. Being on the end of the tower and facing the ocean also gave us some quiet when it was needed.
While I would like to give the property a higher rating there were several issues that we noted during our stay.
- The sheets were not clean and we found several hairs and other substances on the bedding. We ended up purchasing linens to be able to sleep on something else.
- The unit and the contents are quite dated and not like the pictures presented including the bedrooms and the front room furniture was really worn down.
- The bathroom sinks were leaking around the faucets in both bathrooms.
The property manager, Arvis was truly responsive and made efforts to support our stay after the issues were reported so I great appreciate both his attitude and follow-up. Hopefully those items were addressed for the next guests.

We have stayed at the Ilikai before but this condo is our favorite! The view cannot be beat, amenities were plentiful and it was family friendly. Perfect for our family of 4. It is well stocked in the kitchen and even has a closet with beach toys and floaties for kiddos (and an air pump). If you are looking for a perfect Honolulu vacation, this is the place for you. I cannot speak highly enough of it. We’ll be back as soon as we can! Thank you!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The view was spectacular and the place was very clean. Plenty of towels in the closet and kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom was updated. Easy access to the beach and heated swimming pools. Ice cream @David’s Ice cream, breakfast @Cinnamon, cocktails @Pesca (30th floor) were our favorite eateries in the hotel.

All of the beds are awful & probably 25 yrs old. The sofa bed cannot be pulled out without 3 people. A strong one to pull it out & 2 others to hold the sofa still. Water leaks in both bathrooms. The front door is really hard to open & close. Feels like it is warped. $8.00 to do a load of laundry is a bit much. This unit was not worth the almost $5,000 I paid. The only thing going for it is the view.

The condo does have the wow factor when you walk in and see the beautiful views, the kitchen was nice to have especially for breakfast and making sandwiches for the day trip to the North Shore, would have been nice to have had a cooler. Good food in the hotel, very busy so get there early. Condo needs a few things done chairs need to be reupholstered in living room, new toilet seats please, Master bathroom needs a new shower head, leaking , old sheets and towels especially the beach towels. The pocket doors have never been cleaned. Walking from the elevator to the room has no air conditioning on any floors felt like your in a sauna. The hotel has beautiful grounds, coffee shop and a small market which has just about everything. I would have given a 5 star but these things should be replaced for the money your spending to stay here.

Great location and great space. Needs updating with regards to furnishings and needs a really good clean - wall paper coming off the walls, floor trim loose, furniture just a bit old and worn. Need better linens. Struggled to get the dishwasher to work but did in the end. Also tv and wifi didn’t work but we had laptops and a hotspot so didn’t make much difference.

The property has great views, is in a good location but is in need of a good clean up.
It was also very expensive for what it was vs hotel options.
I raised the issues of the need for wall paint, tiles to be fixed, wallpaper fixed, etc with the owner and hopefully that is fixed soon as the condition was not accurately reflected in the listing.

We have stayed at the Ilikai many times but this time we brought our granddaughters ages 9,10 and 11 year old twins. The condo was plenty spacious enough for us. This was the best view we’ve had here. We had the Beach, lagoon, pool and marina view. The condo was as it seemed to be in the pictures but the experience was the best. We will definitely book this condo again.

This condo is located in the perfect spot. The views are amazing. The space is great. It definitely needs updating. Just some paint, nice sheets( that fit) and new toilet seats would go a long way. It’s worth a lot of money and a shame to see it so run down.

Our party of 4 stayed a week at this condo and we were, for the most part, happy with our choice. It’s location is ideal if you want to be close to Waikiki activities, and the views from the unit were awesome! It’s an excellent value compared to other oceanfront units. The unit was clean but somewhat dated. There’s evidence that the owner has been refurbishing with new flooring throughout. I hope he continues as some furniture is showing it’s age. We couldn’t use the dishwasher as the door wouldn’t latch, and the WiFi had to be rebooted frequently. The owner should consider some decluttering of closets and cabinets which take away needed guest storage. The hall closet is so jammed with “stuff” that we just closed the door, and an accumulation of food items left behind by previous guests should be disposed of. The Ilikai has modernized its public areas and has two decent restaurants although Pesca is very pricey. All in all, we would return and hope we have the opportunity some day,

The views from this condo are absolutely incredible! It worked great for my spouse and 3 kids. Great variety of beach gear and toys. Dave’s ice cream and Hawaiian Aroma (best Acia Bowls)where both an added bonus and basically a daily stop for is. I would definitely stay here again. The laundry machines are now credit card operated so no need to bring coins anymore. We are lite packers and like to do laundry. Yes the machines were for the whole floor, but we only had to wait one time. We used insta cart for a big grocery order and they were able to deliver to our door. Like others said the sheets didn’t fit the best but it really wasn’t a big deal to us. We thoroughly enjoyed coffee with an ocean view each morning. Hilton does fireworks Fridays at 8pm and the view of them from this condo are fantastic.

This unit location wise is fabulous! However, if needs to be throughly cleaned..we washed every dish, utensil, pot or pan prior to use! The cushions on the furniture were musty smelling..and the towels in the main bath had to be washed prior to use! They were new but the chemical from manufacturers made them sticky when you went use them! We just gathered them up and washed them all..Not sure what the cleaning fee was for!!!

We would stay here again just for the view. However, as mentioned by other reviewers some maintenance needs to be done. Towels were from Walmart and not of great quality. Sheets did not fit bed. We never had hot water for the 2 weeks we were there resulting in cold showers & no hot water for dishes. Landlord was made aware but no fix & no compensation was offered. There were 2 coin operated washing machines for all 3 wings of our floor so essentially no washer & dryer. Wallpaper was coming off the wall as you entered the property. All but one sink leaked. Shower leaked. Did not have access to pools on the property as this was a VRBO & not a hotel room. Refrigerator was good along with air conditioning units. If you want perhaps the best view in Waikiki this is the place. If you want the most up to date nicest VRBO you have ever stayed in then keep looking. Our flight was moved back an hour, the landlord did give us one hour grace on checkout.

Property was exactly like the description/pictures. Can’t say enough good things about it. Views…amazing. Location …close to everything and convenient. Had everything in the place we needed. Including fully stocked kitchen appliances/utensils/etc. We were happy to find boogie boards, snorkel equipment, water toys in the closet. Host was very friendly and responsive to any questions. I highly recommend this property. If we ever come back to Oahu, we’d definitely stay again.

Everything is exactly as shown and the host is very easy to get in touch with. Check in process was no problem at all. As a sidenote, parking has increased as of last month to $35 a night. I would come again if I’m ever in Waikiki!

The views were AMAZING! If that is your #1 priority, this is your place. The manager, Arvis, was quick to respond and friendly.
The building was well maintained with shops, ice cream and a restaurant on the main level. Both pools were very clean and a great amenity. Access to shopping and other restaurants were a short walk. We did not have a car for our stay and used Uber to the airport.
The unit in general could use updating. The furniture, bedding and towels were below average. The wallpaper was coming off the walls. The toilet seat in the bathroom was stained and melted [a cheap fix to make a better impression!] Renovating and removal of knick-knacks would go along way to match the rest of the building and this units amazing views.

The bedding didn't fit the beds which made sleeping uncomfortable and the towels were old and thin. The kitchen supplies were sub par and the teflon pans needed to be replaced. The furniture was old, lumpy and breaking down. You had to park down the street and it wasn't free. The pool was not available and the condo was full of useless clutter. Disappointing and not worth what we paid. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Just what we wanted...and the unit certainly delivered...spectacular ocean/harbor and sunset views! Additionally, the unit was very comfortable and located close to the beach and all types of shopping. Our host, Arvis, was wonderful and very helpful. All in all, our stay was just what we wanted and the unit made our paradise vacation even better.

Spectacular views, close to restaurants and shopping. We used Instacart and Door Dash. Deliveries were made to the front door. Couldn’t have been a better place to stay. Didn’t need to bother renting a car - bus stop out front. Uber was available with amazingly short wait times. Great vacation

This condo offers amazing views off of the double balcony overlooking the city and the ocean. Easy to get in and out with the vale service the hotel infrastructure has to offer.

I cannot say enough nice things about this stay! My friends and I were floored by the view. It is so, so gorgeous especially for sunsets. The apartment was well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and there were ample towels for both bathing and beach use. The location is incredible - just steps to the beach and plenty of amazing restaurants. Arvis was wonderfully communicative. Would highly recommend to anyone.
