This Modern Timeless “ALOHA” Studio (Unit 1202-Side A with FULL Kitchen) and ""OHANA" Studio (Unit 1202-Side B with Kitchenette) “COMPLETELY Remodel” Is Nestled in Building 1 (Hale Ekahi) on the Second Floor of “The Cliffs at Princeville Resort” which is located on the north shore of the Garden Island of Kauai. The Cliffs lies within the Princeville Resort on 22 acres of lush tropical garden land - called the "Cliffs" because of its situation on a high bluff, overlooking the north Pacific.
Unit 1202 (Side A) – “ALOHA” Studio features a King size bed, FULL GOURMET KITCHEN, inside dining and social area, and private lanai where you may dine outside with a “lush tropical botanical” garden view. Parking is easy and wireless is provided by “The Cliffs at Princeville” throughout the complex. The full kitchen with all stainless-steel appliances, has a range, refrigerator, coffee pot, rice cooker, toaster, blender and dishwasher. The bathroom features a walk-in shower with modern tile and fixtures. Laundry Machine: Washer and Dryer provided in the Foyer.
“The Cliffs at Princeville” complex is located on the Bluffs overlooking the Pacific and features tennis courts, half-court basketball, a newly renovated pool with waterfall, Fitness Center, Croquet, Tennis Courts, Putting Green, Horseshoes, Shuffle Board, private adult Jacuzzi, Bike Rental, Club House with Huge TV and Book rental, Computer Center to print boarding passes, several Outside BBQ Grills and more...
Concierge located next to the business center is “FREE”, and the staff is more than happy to help/suggest or plan/reserve any activity you desire.
“The Cliffs at Princeville” is located close to two of the outstanding golf courses in Hawaii, with the number one rated golf course in Hawaii, the Prince Course, as well as the highly regarded and much less difficult (but still challenging) Makai course nearby. “The Cliffs at Princeville” is close to shopping, many restaurants and the world famous 1 Hotel Hanalei Resort.

This is our first "COMPLETELY" Remodel Vacation Rental that we have taken on to reflect our OWN Personal TOUCH for this Garden Island. It has beautiful Crown Molding and special Artwork throughout unit. We want to share our labor of love for this island with a moderately priced rental that all can experience. Each piece of furniture and artwork was specifically chosen to reflect our Kauai LOVE and thoughts. We also provide "free" to our guests, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, and igloos while other units may not offer this.
==>There are Weekly on-site activities such as: Farmers Market, Yoga on the bluff, Lei making & Hula classes, Wine and Beer tasting & Food Truck night. (Some of these activities may be on hold due to Covid fy 2023-2024)
SPECIAL Note:
(1) Does Kauai Have A Night Scene? Not really ... If you are looking for nightlife, you should probably stay in Honolulu.
(2) Correction: NO snorkeling gear is provided under beach amenities, please take note.
(3) ***NO AIR CONDITIONING*** at “The Cliffs at Princeville”. Two large Ceiling Fan inside the Room for trade winds air circulation. Additional portable fan in closet. It is part of the resort's overall mission to reduce our carbon footprint.
(4) Travel Insurance is "highly" recommended due to Covid Pandemic
(5) Not suitable or safe for pets due to balcony and breakable decorative items.
(6) This rental is a Studio with full bathroom and lanai that can sleep up to two people maximum, with a King Bed.
(7) If Hawaii/Kauai taxes increase, additional payment by guest will be required.
(8) Studio condo is on the 2nd floor and a flight of stairs must be climbed.
(9) Only starter kits are provided for Shampoo, Soap, Laundry Detergent, Dish Soap and Toilet Paper...For extended stays, you will need to purchase on your own for these items.
(10) Cleaning fee $185 is subject to Hawaii's General Excise Tax (4.712%)
(11) Resort fee $15/day+ Parking fee $15/day =$30/day plus Hawaii's General Excise Tax (4.712%)
(12) The Cliffs at Princeville Resort does our housekeeping , please contact the front desk for direction to housekeeping to get more toilet paper, laundry pods, trash bags, exchange towels, etc...if needed.
Guest Access:
All Guest must check in and check out at lobby front desk. Guest will be issued key card for main front door to enter foyer and parking pass.
Our Studio does not have a phone landline, please go to the front desk for assistance.
Please know our studio condo is on the 2nd floor, and a flight of stairs must be climbed.
Guests have access to everything, including the putting green, tennis courts, pool, kids' playground, small workout gym, bocce ball, shuffleboard and all the other amenities. The Cliffs also features classes including basket weaving, cliff-side yoga, pilates, introduction to scuba, cooking classes, and botanical tours.
Interaction with Guests:
I am available 24/7 through my text or phone. No matter the time of day I pride myself on being available for our guests.
Getting Around:
Unless you’re on a fairly leisurely schedule, you’ll need a car or other motorized vehicle to see and do everything on Kauai, which has one major road—one lane in each direction, in most places—that rings the island except along the Napali Coast. During rush hour, from about 6 to 9am and 3 to 6pm, the road between Lihue and Kapaa—the central business district—can turn into a giant parking lot, even with a third, “contra-flow” lane whose direction is determined by time of day. Bypass roads in Kipu (when heading north from Poipu) and Kapaa (when heading south) can alleviate some of the stress, but plan accordingly.
Note: The top speed is 50mph, with many slower sections in residential and business areas. Addresses in this chapter will use Kaumualii Highway (Hwy. 50) and Kuhio Highway (Hwy. 56/560), following local convention. Since highway addresses can be hard to spot (if marked at all), directions may be given with mile marker numbers, cross streets, and/or the descriptors mauka (toward the mountains) and makai (toward the sea).
By Car--All of the major car-rental agencies are represented on Kauai. At the airport baggage claim, cross the street to catch one of the frequent shuttle vans to the rental lots.

This condo was very clean, nicely decorated, and an ideal place for us to stay. Check in/out process was easy with the front desk. We really appreciated the small cooler, sand chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, and rain umbrellas provided by the owners so we didn't have to figure those things out upon arrival in Kauai. While we did miss having air conditioning, we slept fairly well by running the two ceiling fans and plug-in fan provided. There were only two beach towels provided, so we did have to do a load of towels (in the washer/dryer unit provided within our condo, free of charge with detergent pods provided) to have fresh midway through our 7-night stay. There were no ice packs provided for the cooler, so we just drank a little bit of our water from a few of our recyclable water bottles (to prevent overexpansion), froze them, and used those for ice blocks in the cooler to keep things cold for the day. The Cliffs grounds were beautifully kept. We enjoyed using the pool. The bbq grills kitty-corner from the condo were convenient to use, and the sunsets on the back grassy area (ocean side), were awesome! The owner, Milo, got back to us quickly with a question we had. We would highly recommend staying here.

This condo was a great launching point for our stay on the north shore. We enjoyed the little botanical garden path just behind the unit, the putting green just in front of the unit, and the pool and pickle ball courts nearby. But more importantly, we enjoyed the easy access on foot to Queen's Bath and by car to other beaches nearby. The owners, Milo and Theresa, are easy to communicate with and very responsive.

Fantastic cozy spot for a couple! Well furnished, beautifully decorated, high ceilings, porch overlooking amazing greenery (and birdsong!). Perfectly located for exploration of key beaches, trails, sites in the area. We didn’t spend much time in the complex, but did use pool and hot tubs a few times. Tennis, bikes and other amenities were there….. frankly we preferred heading to amazing nearby beaches for snorkeling, swimming, boogie boarding. Owner was easy to connect with on a few questions…..everything was smooth.

We had a very positive experience at the cliffs resort and renting this condo from Milo. We did have one issue with the Wi-Fi and cable while we were there and contacted Milo. He responded very quickly and contacted the service provider. He was able to get service restored within a day. We would definitely rent this property again.

We enjoyed staying at Milo and Theresa's vacation resort. It was unusually windy when we arrived but it didn’t detract from our enjoyment. We found a new beach and adventure everyday.
Their home is exactly as pictured and they were very responsive whenever the need arose.

Milo and Theresa's place is tastefully decorated, with great Hawaiian flair. The Aloha side of the 1202 unit (it is a single 2 BR unit split into two units at the Cliffs Resort, very smart) has everything one would need for a lovely Kauai getaway. The full kitchen is well equipped with stainless steel appliances and all the cooking utensils that one would ever need. We cooked quite a few times here and we are quite serious home cooks. This place is so nice, it is inspiring me to start thinking about buying our own unit.
The Cliffs Resort itself is also quite well equipped. The frontdesk and concierge are friendly and very helpful. The amenities are well kept with pools, jacuzzi, tennis courts and even a putting green (right in front of this unit). I find it to be very usable, unpretentious (unlike Westin and St. Regis, both of which I have been). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time on the property. For those who need to hang clothes, just know that while there are plenty of drawers, but no closet. That said, while we were here for a wedding (so had things to hang), we had no issue at all finding ways around it. Such is the fun for traveling.
Milo was very welcoming through text and email and even sent a physical postcard after our trip. I look forward to being in Kauai again and I would not hesitate to book Milo's property (I'd even try another one they own at another property, just to see how they remodeled it).

We loved our stay at the Cliffs resort and would return again. The studio condo was just as it was pictured. The lanai was lovely and private. The kitchen was perfect for putting together our breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed the beautiful resort pool and hot tub. Milo was very responsive and we even received a post card thanking us for our stay! I think the only thing that could be improved upon would be the Wi-Fi. The password given to us by the front desk didn't work so they gave us the password to the unit next door and it was incredibly slow. But we didn't need it that much since we were busy exploring all that the area had to offer. The condo is very central to activities - close to Hanalei Bay and Anini Beach. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Just returned from 18 Nights at The Beautiful Cliffs Resort In Princeville.
This Studio is Spotless Clean, Modern and Equiped with mostly
everything you will need. The Bed is Super Comfy and the Kitchen is Great. I missed not having a closet to hang our clothes. The bureau drawers were small, so I ended up draping clothes over chairs, etc.
The Wicker Loveseat was not comfortable, so we mostly used the bed.
The Balcony was nice but again wish we had comfy chairs like other units.
Most nights, we enjoyed chatting with others in the Adult Hot Tub!
The Pool area and Grounds are very well maintained. The internet would
not work sometimes but it always came back on. It was Great having Foodland 5 minutes away. Emailed Milo with a couple of questions during our stay and he responded quickly!
