This is the second time we have stayed in this unit and we love the owners. They are amazing at communicating and make staying here a dream. The entire Ekahi village team from the gardeners to the repair men work so hard to keep the grounds immaculate and the units in tip top shape. If something needs repairing it is fixed immediately and they are so considerate of your vacation time you don’t see them or hear them.
Our hearts go out to all the people of Lahaina and the families on the island who have suffered through this terrible loss. Every person we met was affected in some way. We are so glad we did not cancel our trip and from every person we had a conversation with we were confirmed that our presence was welcomed and needed. People need to keep their jobs, they need to work and they need people to visit the island. This trip more than ever we felt the Aloha spirit of Maui and the deep feeling of Ohana. I don’t think we have ever hugged so many people.

Took my wife and two little ones (5 year old and 6 month old) to the property and it was perfect! Nice walk to the beach, great pool, stocked with beach supplies, and great communication. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The condo is as pictured, really great location and amazing view. We really enjoyed the lanai and spent a lot of time out there. It’s a quick walk down to the beach and the property is very pretty. We loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Location was perfect with easy access to the pool, beach, and our daily walk on a walking trail that winds around past the Four Seasons Hotel nearby. The condo was clean and thoughtfully stocked. The lanai was relaxing with spectacular views facing the beach and enjoying beautiful sunsets. We would stay here again and have already recommended it to friends!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unit. It had an incredible View and being on a ground floor meant we could spill outside easily. The hosts were easy to communicate with and we would definitely stay there again.

The reviews that I've read was accurate.
Our family - my Husband and my 22 year old son had a wonderful holiday, stay here. It was perfect for us. We love being on the ground floor and sitting on the Lanai, watching the sunset every evening.
Wished we could stay longer!. Phil and Jen are very good with their communication and most helpful. We would definitely return to stay here again if the opportunity arises in the future. I highly recommend staying here.

We couldn’t imagine a better place to spend a week on Maui! The condo was well-appointed with a great kitchen for cooking, super-comfortable beds, and a washer & dryer. There are beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, sandcastle-building equipment and other beach gear provided. There was only enough laundry detergent, toilet paper, and dish detergent for about 5 days so we did have to buy some for the remaining two days. The views were fabulous. We loved sitting on the lanai looking down the greenway to the ocean. The landscaping is beautiful, especially the huge Flamboyant tree that always helped us know which way to head up the hill from the beach or pool. We also met lots of other friendly travelers here. We hope to return and would hands down choose to stay here again!

Really nice space for a 5-day stay for our family of 4! The pool (with gorgeous pavilion) and beach with soft sand were just a short walk away across the greenspace (don't have to worry about crossing car traffic). We greatly appreciated the big deckbox full of beach toys, beach chairs, and umbrella, and the kitchen was well stocked. The unit could have been better stocked in terms of toiletries, though, as only 1 bar of soap was included for each bathroom (no shampoo, conditioner, lotion, or tissues). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This condo has an amazing view. The resort itself is pristine and quiet. The proximity to the pool and beach is perfect. There are shopping and restaurants conveniently located to the property. The host is very responsive and easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful time.

We chose this rental because of the beautiful lanai that overlooked the well-kept grounds of the Wailea Ekahi Resort with a view of the Pacific Ocean. It did not disappoint. After a morning on the beach or out exploring, it was fantastic to return to a spot that was shaded and breezy. It does get windy around 1 each day, so hit the beach early and then take a break by the pool for a few hours until the winds calm again. We were often content to sit and have a drink and watch the beautiful sunset. Or we walked a few minutes down to the beach. The condo was also clean with a comfortable bed and all we needed for a week. Jennifer and Phil answered all our questions and made check-in smooth.

This is the first time we rented this property. We were not disappointed. The condo and property were well maintained. There was attention to detail. Every morning we would get up and have a fabulous view of the ocean and palm trees. The location was perfect for the island. It was nice to have the grill, beach chairs and umbrella at our disposal.

It’s just so lovely. The grounds are tropical with lots of grass. It’s nice having several pools to choose from. We like the smaller ‘quiet’ pools. Beach is easy to access. Very relaxing.

This is an ideal unit to book if you are traveling to Maui with young children. It is right on the lawn of Ekahi, and the large tree out front offers day-long shade, which is perfect for laying out in with kids. It's a 90 second walk to the beach and pool, and the view of the ocean is wonderful. Thank you Jennifer and Phil!

Another great stay in the Ekhai village right on the greenbelt with a fantastic view of the Pacific off the main lanai. We were a party of 4 adults and the condo had everything you could want - you do need to look through the myriad of closets and storage bins though. The condo was updated about 15-20 years ago with high-end finishes of that time and the rental price is reflective of it.

The owners were more than accommodating and truly made our vacation turn from a disaster to one of the best stays on the island. The unit is comfortably decorated, the kitchen amenities are current, clean and wonderful to make any meal with. The view from most rooms is stunning, ocean and sunsets galore . We cannot say enough about the unit and the owners. Thank you again for all your aloha!!
My only recommendation would be to stop by Target or Costco and get some beach chairs and an umbrella, it’s the only thing the unit does not if you plan on sitting on the sand. There are plenty of towels though for everyone!

Wailea Ekahi is a wonderful complex, that my family has stayed at many times over the years. Thus unit is great, exactly as advertised. It had everything you need - kitchen was well appointed, pool/beach toys were plentiful, and they even had pack and plays for babies. There are 3 seperate patios, all which have different levels of sun/shade. The unit is further from the main pool complex, but relatively close to the other 3 smaller pools. It's a bottom, end unit. Great view of sunsets from dinning room/patios.

This condo’s front door has a keyless entry which was appreciated, so we did not have to keep track of yet another key. It has a spacious & comfortable living room with a large television if you want to kick back and watch it, a well-equipped kitchen where we cooked several meals, two bedrooms with their own patios for privacy if desired, along with another, but larger patio to be shared that looks out on a well- manicured, grassy area with lovely plants & trees surrounding it.
The adorable geckos greeted us each morning by hanging out on the patio posts & tree trunks while red-crested cardinals and what I think are Grey Francolin entertained us as they scurried across the grass making a distinct and repeated sound that I had not heard before. The pools are well maintained and the beach access is phenomenal and allows for long, long walks on the beach. My daughter and I have many fond memories of our time on Maui, following being cooped up for so long during the pandemic…it was just the ideal spot. We had a wonderful place to stay, with close by restaurants, great shopping, and many water- sports. We tried the sea scooter snorkeling, such fun and so easy! We saw five manta rays, turtles, and beautiful fish of course during this snorkeling adventure…great memories in and out of this condo!

This place was clean and very nicely decorated. The view was great! Quiet unit. I was with my mom and teens.
The only bummer was we arrived to a broken clothes washer, we were informed that it was broken by the cleaners before checkin and were only given one bath towel each when we arrived. I immediately contacted the owner and management to tell them it was broken and to please provide more clean towels.
Long story short, it took 3 days to get the repair guy out so the unit was never fixed. Freshly cleaned towels did arrive 3 days later as well and our check out was on day 4.
Our whole family, several friends, have stayed at Ekahi Village for the past 20 years so we have rented several units throughout the property. Most units provide beach supplies so if you stay here and have little kids, just know there are no beach supplies like most of the units have, you will have to rent (beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie board, beach sand toys if you have little kids etc). We rented chairs and umbrella at a store in Kihei for the week.
They did have Netflix which was nice!
Our next unit in Ekahi was for 3 more nights with lots of amenities for beach, plenty of towels, and even games to play which we so appreciated. It was not decorated as nice and not updated but we liked the convenience and how close it was to the beach and that I did not have to rent chairs for beach and umbrella or go buy bath towels.
The owner was helpful with the situation and of course it was not their fault that the unit was broken.
Also, make sure you read the instructions sheet for check in (I failed to do so entirely as I was trying to get maintenance out to repair the washer). I made the mistake of asking the lady in the office at building 18 where the parking permits were and she was quite rude. Best to read the instructions and avoid her.
