The location of this property is absolutely perfect. Just a 4-minute walk away is one of the best beaches, and you get to see it every morning, which is a blissful experience. There are also plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance. The only unhappy thing about the property is that we saw cockroaches.

Hale Kamaole is directly across the street from one of the nicest beaches in the south of Maui. You’re not far from restaurants and shops and the staff has always been extremely nice and accommodating. I’ve stayed at Hale Kamaole 3 times now and the residents are always extremely friendly! I have already booked my next stay.Our particular unit this visit could use some upgrades as the screen door was broken and they didn’t have as many beach or swimming supplies or were broken.

We had a very nice vacation in Maui by staying at this very clean, comfortable condo. We enjoyed having the patio. It’s just a few steps to the pool, which isn’t heated but still pleasant to sit at. The unit had lots of snorkel and other beach equipment available. The kitchen was very well equipped. We would definitely still in this unit and at this complex again.

We’d definitely stay at this condo again. It’s so close to the beach. The pool is just steps away, (although it isn’t heated.) The unit is comfortably furnished. There’s a great stash of beach equipment in a special closet. We enjoyed staying on this ground floor because of its private patio area. We enjoyed this location in Maui. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.

A bit dated but . very functional and clean, Nice supply of boogie boards, fins, snorkles and masks and beach chairs. Well equipped kitchen but the owner should spend one day's rent and replace frying pans and get a couple of decent knives and a proper cutting board. Check in easy, nice proximity to pool. I would definitely rent this unit again.

This was our second time staying at Hale Kamaole, although in another unit. First the bad:The unit is in need of updates and although it came with beach gear, only one of the chairs was in usable condition. The umbrella was useless. I'd recommend the owner spends $100 at Costco to get 2 new Tommy Bahama chairs and an umbrella.We were concerned about cleanliness because there were often cockroaches spotted coming out from behind the stove and the bathroom sink was clogged up and drained slowly.The kettle provided is the camping variety that has to be placed on top of the stove. Very budget.The good:Although the unit itself is located near the back of the complex, the property is very close to Kamaole Beach Park 3 which is arguable the best of the Kihei beaches due to the large park above. There are barbeques conveniently located in two locations and propane is provided. The two pools are clean and have lots of seating and shade. The grounds are well kept.The unit has lots of kitchen utensils and gadgets.

We loved our stay here. It was immaculately clean, came with all the amenities including in-unit laundry, plus boogie boards and snorkel gear and we loved the decor (very Golden girls in the best way). It has beautiful ocean views right outside the door and proximity to great beaches, restaurants and groceries.
The property also has two pools which we used either in the morning to start the day or in the evening to cool down and relax.
We also loved the that it was on the ground floor and had a patio with table and chairs, which we used for having coffee in the morning, relaxing at night or easy access to the pool.
I would stay here again, and highly recommend it.

We've stayed in a few 1-bedroom units at Hale Kamaole and this is the best equipped. Everything you need is there - we loved the tiled floors - so clean. The cleaners work so hard - the place was impeccable, and the staff in the office are lovely.

We enjoyed our time at Hale Kamaole. This was our second time here, but the first time in this unit. The property is in a great location and is very well kept and maintained. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. A few maintenance issues we had were fixed right away. The unit we stayed in was clean and had everything we needed for the most part. Some of the beach stuff was in rough condition but we made due. The remote for the tv didn't work that well witch was a little annoying.

Hawaii is great! Hale Kamaole is fantastic. We will return.Unit 131 is a little run down and needs some TLC. The air conditioner sounds like a jet taking off. The garburator keeps backing up. The shower control handle is super stiff. The blender is from 1971. The beach towels were thrashed and there was no cooler for the beach. All small bitches but definitely affected our stay. Management was quick to fix and provide remedies when asked. They were great!

My daughter and her husband stayed there while here. Unfortunately their tv did not function for their entire visit which was a little frustrating for them. It was reported but nothing was resolved. Toaster did not work and I gave to say the place was a little worn and tired. My condo 163 has been great but I am sorry that their's wasn't as comfortable.

We had a fantastic time. The apartment was great, and the grounds were beautiful - big thanks to the grounds maintenance guys. The only minor critical feedback we can give is that the apartment could maybe do with a more serious spring clean at somepoint [under the furniture, back of cupboards etc.], and it would have been nice to have the use of some tennis rackets. Thank you; hopefully we'll be back!!

The property was generally clean. The air conditioner was unusually loud and not easy to operate. The remote on the television was hard to operate. We had to call maintenance twice to learn how to run the system. The location of the property is great, near to the beaches and shopping area. Facilities were more than adequate. A delightful little condo.

All cooking utensils needed were available in the unit. The condo was clean, spacious and a very short walk down to a beautiful stretch of beach. Additionally the unit had a number of beach items for us to use. I would 100% recommend this unit.

The location is wonderful. We loved being able to walk to multiple beaches and restaurants. We used both pools and loved the views of palm trees, birds, and geckos. The unit was tidy and pretty comfortable. It is in need of a deep clean, the fan and wicker had a thick layer of dust. Additionally, we called about the light being out in the bathroom and it wasn't addressed during our stay so we had to move a lamp in. The dishwasher is also falling out of its placement, so when you are loading the bottom rack it may just fall all the way out, which is cumbersome. Overall we had a great stay and would go back.
