Fantastic accommodation, superbly located, very clean and well equipped. The balcony offers a fantastic view of the sea, the surfers and at the end of the day a memorable sunset. I have traveled the world several times over the years and rented several places, but this place has been my best rental by far. I have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation for a very relaxing holiday.

This was a wonderful condo to rent and would consider renting again. Beautifully remodeled with high end materials. The location and ocean front view were fantastic. It was very quiet in the unit, we never heard road traffic or neighbors - only the ocean! Enjoyed the sunsets, watching the surfers and sea life. The unit had everything we needed and it was in good condition. We didn’t use the A/c but was glad it was an option. Parking was very easy and had plenty of spots. The location was close to dining options, shopping and sightseeing - a great location for exploring the Big Island!

We enjoyed our stay in this condominium. A few things would have made this stay perfect. When we arrived we did not see signage pointing us to the elevator bank which meant that my 63-year old wife and I had to haul our suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. I looked for elevators but they are not identified anywhere on the property and it was dark and after hours. While the property has 2 beds it really is not a 2 bedroom property. It is more like a modified studio as the main bed is part of the main living area with the option to move 2 large pocket doors that split the living room in half to cordon off the bed into a private place. I do not think anyone would opt to do this as partitioning the bed would remove it from the AC and and windows meaning it would get very warm in there. The second bed is located in a traditional room but sleeping in it may be challenging to infants or light sleepers as traffic noise is very loud as the jalousie-style windows in this room face Ali'i drive and traffic noise is quite loud at all hours of day and night as this street is a main thoroughfare. The second bedroom also lacks air conditioning and it gets exceedingly warm if you close the door.
The place has a very nice view from the balcony overlooking the ocean. The property also has a very generous compliment of appliances, chairs, tables, and kitchenware. The parking was very convenient.
So overall all with just ourselves, the property worked nicely.

We enjoyed our stay in this condominium. A few things would have made this stay perfect. The condo was amazing and even better then the description. The view from every room was just spectacular! It was extremely quiet in the complex. The only sound was the ocean, which was very calming. We loved the location as we were only a short drive into Kona, but far enough away to not be caught up in the crowds.
Holly, the property manager, was extremely responsive, answering all of our questions before the trip and while we were there. Even on the weekend she saw that a problem was corrected promptly. She made an amazing restaurant recommendation for our anniversary dinner. I would definitely recommend this property.

We spent lots of time relaxing on the lanai. Great location if you like listening to the ocean waves all night (which we did)! 5-10 min. to local beaches, 20-30 min. drive to really nice beaches.

Also the beach supplies were perfect. The bed was a bit firm but that’s the only “con”. The AC worked well to cool off the condo when the sun hit it in the afternoon and helped manage the humidity some evenings. Ocean sounds are the perfect “white noise”. Wonderful stay, hope to return!

My husband and I stayed in this unit along with my brother and sister in law for six nights. We loved the location, close to town and everything we wanted to do. The view off the lanai was amazing. It’s a great surfing location, so we watched the surfers every morning while we ate breakfast. We could see whales most mornings, and saw a couple turtles by the rocks right off shore. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for a perfect. We received a quick response any time we had a question about anything. Thank you for that!

Evidently the television in the main area quit working right before we got there and she replaced it the next day while we were out. The views are absolutely amazing from sunrise to gorgeous sunsets. We were fortunate to be able to watch a youth Surfing competition in front of the units in the very large waves during our stay. The unit is extremely well equipped and everything worked beautifully. Ali’i is a busy street and sometimes we could hear loud car radios but mostly we just heard the ocean. Hope to stay here again.

This condo is extremely well stocked. The comfortable recliners on the lanai and the incredible view make it hard to leave the condo. We enjoyed relaxing on the lanai, watching surfers come and go, listening to the waves crash and watching the sunsets. We listened to the waves crashing all day and night long - so relaxing (no sound machine needed). We did not turn the A/C on once. We’ve stayed at many rentals and this one has it all! Holly was an excellent communicator and responded promptly to any questions. This would definitely be a place we chose if we ever came back. Two small sand beaches right on the property and you are all set. It was a wonderful time enjoying God’s incredible creation!

I would give this condo 10 stars if I could. It was located just far enough from downtown Kona to be quiet, but close enough to get into town easily. The view from the balcony was awesome, and the sound of the ocean was the perfect background noise. There was always a nice breeze, and we never needed to turn the air conditioning on. The condo was supplied with everything needed for our visit; including coolers, beach chairs and umbrellas, and even snorkel equipment. Communication with Holly was very easy, and she always responded immediately. Fortunately, she didn't have anyone checking in on the day of our departure, and allowed us to stay until late afternoon before leaving for our overnight flight home. Even without that, this was a perfect stay.

Spent 10 days here with my adult daughter. It was the perfect base from which to explore the big island, which we did from top to bottom and side to side. Unit 304 at Kona Bali Kai is very well located. Parking was easy and there was alway a spot available near the stairway. Unit was exactly as depicted and well supplied, plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, even facial tissues -- it really has the feel of home. The view from the main room and lanai is spectacular. Enjoyed watching surfers, sunsets, and children exploring the tide pools. Best part was opening the sliding doors and letting the ocean breeze and sounds of the waves fill the whole place at night. Holly was very responsive and helpful. The swimming pool and spa were nice and clean. The full size washer and dryer were in excellent condition and very good to have. Beach chairs, beach bag, cooler, and ample supply of beach towels came in handy. Overall it was a beautiful, no-hassle place to stay that enabled us to focus on enjoying all that Hawaii Island has to offer. I would be happy for the opportunity to stay here again.

Holly who manages the property was so helpful and accommodating throughout the booking process even being flexible when I needed to reschedule more than once. She’s readily available and communicative.
As for the condo. Wow! It’s renovated and fully stocked on the inside. The views are impressive. Sitting on the lanai for coffee in the AM and drinks or dinner in the evening was fantastic!! I echo all of the reviews I read before arriving, and I agree that all the descriptions and photos are accurate.

We were extremely happy during our time here. The place is nicely located with short drives to restaurants and beaches. There is a small beach just out front if you want to dip your toes in the sand but for swimming you will need to head north or south. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and we could have stayed there all day watching the surfers off the shore. The place is very comfortable, with everything you will need including ample towels, beach chairs, umbrella's, snorkel gear and ice chests/coolers. Holly was easy to get a hold of if we needed anything, but we didn't because the place is well cared for and everything we wanted was already provided.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The ocean view is breathtaking with nonstop surfer activity and beautiful sunsets. The condo was very clean with a well-equipped kitchen. The beach towels and chairs, boogie boards and snorkelling equipment came in handy when visiting the beaches. It's a very short drive to the center of Kona for shopping and restaurants. The condo was exactly as advertised, excellent condition and attractively decorated. Right in the coast, with a view of the sunsets and the crash of the waves. The local contact made contact several times to check in with us, and as everything was as expected did not need any help. Great way to disconnect from the daily routine.
Just a short drive south of “central” Kona, so away from the crowds but within easy reach. The pool area is as described, somewhat small and in the internal “courtyard”, but then there are so many beautiful beaches on the big island.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Kona this is THE PERFECT CONDO! The view from the lanai is amazing so you may not even want to leave the condo. You can just relax on the comfortable lounge chairs, listen to the waves crashing and watch the surfers from sunrise to the beautiful sunset! If you stay in, you can cook meals and prepare tropical drinks with the well-stocked kitchen - great knives and pots, blender, wine glasses etc- and enjoy the meal on the lanai.
When you do venture out, you will have everything you need for your adventures- snorkel gear, beach towels and chairs, ice chests and tote bags.
My husband and I just spent two wonderful weeks in this comfortable condo celebrating our 35th anniversary! When we return to the Big Island we will stay here again!

We rented this condo for our two week vacation and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The unit and grounds were very clean and the condo well stocked with all the essentials including some extras (cooler, beach chairs, sun umbrella). The view was noting short of spectacular. There are grills and picnic tables near the water for tenants and guests to use. We sat on the small beach and had a sea turtle come up by our feet to sun itself for a couple of hours (that made our day). Very convenient location close to the city for dining and shopping. It is about a 20 minute drive to the harbor for scuba excursions. There were friendly security/courtesy officers always on grounds to answer questions as needed. There was plenty of convenient parking spots and even several carts available to help carry in your luggage or groceries. Holly, the condo manager, made sure we got in ok and offered her personal phone number if we needed anything during our stay. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We were impressed with the upscale decor and furnishings of #304 Kona Bali Kai. Nothing was missing in the kitchen, we even found sharp knives. The unit was extremely clean and beds were comfortable. Not a complaint, but the lights/fans are tricky. Remotes would often turn on lights in rooms we weren't using.
While there we saw an advertisement for a unit open house so took a look out of curiosity. Oh my, we were happy we hadn't rented it as it was old and no updates at all.
Holly, the property manager for ID 978449 was extremely helpful. We would recommend it and will rent this unit if ever we return to the big Island of Hawaii.

Lovely updated condo! Fully appointed kitchen and plenty of amenities. The location and view are spectacular - you literally cannot get any closer to the ocean and we LOVED listening to the waves. One thing to note that could be considered a negative was the lack of blinds/curtains in the master bedroom. Waking up to the sun and view was awesome, however given we were not alone during our stay, privacy was a bit of an issue as no one could be on the balcony without seeing straight into our bedroom. Aside from that minor hiccup we loved it and would definitely consider staying here again!
