The unit is in need of updating, however, everything worked and the unit was clean. The view of the ocean is awesome. The view of the harbor is heart breaking, because it's polluted. Filled with debris (mostly trash and dead fish) and needs to be cleaned. Overall, our VRBO experience was very good.

Extra of everything..mattresses, sheets, pillows, towels & lots of space for the 4 of us! There was no parking lot attendant to assist with parking tickets. Will definitely stay here again!

This was a last minute reservation due to another reservation not being able to accommodate our entire party. Host was extremely responsive and accommodating. While the unit was updated with new floors and rugs in the bedroom and lining room, the kitchen and bathroom are dated and there was an unpleasant odor. Outside of the odor, it was a great last minute reservation and worth the price.

Overall a great experience! The location is great and close to beaches and Waikiki. The views are also amazing and the host was responsive and easy to deal with. We would stay here again.

We normally stay next-door at the Prince Hotel, but for several hundred dollars less, we got this gem. We loved the location, so convenient to Ala Moana without having to fight the Waikiki traffic. Condo was clean and efficient enough.

I needed a total of 10 nights on Oahu and decided to try my first 5 here. I really wanted to love it, but it was too difficult for me to complete my full 5 nights here, so I departed a day early to enter my next rental unit at The Modern across the street. What a huge difference. The unit has direct ocean views and harbor views, location is perfect to walk to/from Ala Moana Mall, easy access to the beach, and It’s really easy to get ride shares from this location as it is outside of the Waikiki traffic. Now to the experience of my stay. I arrived a little early so I knew it would be impossible to have an early check-in. The manager of the unit was very responsive and always kept me on alert of the status of the unit. Housekeeper was behind on cleaning so I ended up placing my bags in the room and head out to my activities while the housekeeper makes her way to cleanup the unit. I finally got to check-in at 4:30pm and settle in. I started my usual inspection before unpacking and could not believe what I walked into. This is a short list of requirements needed for me to consider this unit again. -The lock box is a safety issue and I highly recommend the owner invest in a newer code changing technology. They keys in the lockbox can be accessed by anyone who has the combination. I am sure that the lockbox is still the same combination. It’s an old lockbox and it needs to go. Huge safety concerns. -there’s only 1 laminated paper of basic instructions. There is no binder on the counter that instructs a guest for how to use AC and unit lights, etc…. -AC was an issue and very old so I had to find the manual online and go from there. -the curtains are so old with holes and falling off the hooks. It’s beyond repair! The sunset can be really bright and there’s no way to avoid shade with those bad curtains. -the carpets are seriously dirty. It requires a deep cleaning or needs to be replaced. -the ceiling fan is thick with dust on the edges. -bathroom ceiling has serious mold -vents are thick with dust -shower curtain has body wash and shampoo residue all over from other guests. - all closest has random items and is looking like a storage system of guests collecting junk. -the sofa bed is super old -the entire unit needs to have a paint job. There are scuff marks all over and it’s dirty everywhere. -the bed and pillows are old. They need to closedown the unit and deep clean and do soft renovation.

The overall rating is 4 stars because the unit could be better taken care of. The unit has white tile throughout kitchen, closet and restroom. The rest has carpet- for a home close to the ocean I highly recommend tile or laminate with non fluffy rugs to define spaces. The eating area has carpet below which is odd and seems unsanitary. The couch in this unit should have been replaced last year. It was worn and had some stains on it. The coffee table had some rings and the shower didn't completely turn on, the fixture likely needs replaced or upgraded. Also the windows are single pane so sound travels far. The unit overall was very neat. Daily parking at the garage was $28 for the day as of 11.14.22. Much safer than street parking. The trash Chute is right outside of the Unit in a nearby room. The building does recycle. There is laundry on the 7th floor but half of the machines were out of order. It was a really sustainable place to stay at, also you can view the Hilton's Friday fireworks from the balcony.

It was a good staycation for the weekend. But we think this property could be a bit nicer like the pictures. The curtains have stains and we used extra pillows but ended up putting them back because there was a smell. Bath tub was alright, but there’s some cleaning that should be done as well. Maybe fix the lights as well, the lights sometimes flicker and isn’t as bright as we thought it’d be. Overall it was a good stay but just needs a makeover entirely.

The apt is in a great location and has beautiful views of the harbor, but that's about the only thing it has going for it. It's extremely dirty, the vents are black, things are broken or not plugged in to work. I thought based on the past negative reviews things would have been taken care of, but that is not the case. It's still very dirty, carpets are disgusting, lights blinker, old soap scum was found on the shower wall, and the AC didn't really work. It's an extremely old unit that has not be kept up or redone. It is not what the photos portray. If you need a place for a night and somewhere to lie your head down, then book it, but I wouldn't stay here for more than one night. I felt like I was staying in a hostel, not a comfortable VRBO.

We had a great time, we loved everything about it, it’s not luxury but it really saved us money. You get what you pay for. Nothing really wrong with condo, great amenities too. Thank you folks and we will rent from you again on our next Hawaii visit! I did see other properties you have.

The good: Great location. Easy to get everywhere being that we had a rental car plus my parents’ favourite stores and Ala Moana mall are within walking distance. Nice views of the marina and ocean. Not able to see the sunrises but the sunsets were awesome! Almost everything we needed was supplied. The laundry room is easily accessible and the parkade is clean and brightly lit. Felt safe as there was 24 hour security present and often seen doing their walkabouts. The bad: Parking isn’t included. It’s an extra $23/day. We stayed for 15 days so it adds up but worth the convenience of having a car. The unit wasn’t super well cleaned. Carpets were obviously in need of a steam clean. Walking around without shoes my bare feet were black from all the carpet grunge. The walls and curtains are definitely dingy and needed to be painted and cleaned/replaced. A tv in the bedroom wasn’t hooked up to anything. A tabletop fan never worked. The ceiling fan lights never worked although the fan did. The AC worked but had no instructions on how to program it. The tv in the living room also came with no instructions on use or available channels. Overall the entire unit could use some serious updating and the pictures are nicer than the actual unit. The fold out couch was not the one in the pictures. It was the most uncomfortable sofa bed I’ve ever slept on. The ugly: The dirty dishwasher water was spewing out onto the counter and down into the cupboard and under the sink and onto the floor from a release valve of sorts beside the faucet. Texted the manager and he was able to arrange someone to come fix it the next morning but wasted most of the next morning waiting for him to come. It did work fine after that though and the manager was fairly quick to respond. The parking ticket machine sometimes wouldn’t read my parking ticket so could be frustrating at times and the attendants are hit or miss at how helpful they were. There was a cockroach scurrying around the kitchen hence there was roach spray in the closet. It was pretty small so I just squished it. Turning on the lights at night really attracted all the small flies that somehow manage to get in even tho most days we rarely opened the windows. There are no screens on the window or to the lanai.

Great spot, handy to local amenities and with great views of the marina and lagoon. The apartment is clean and has everything you need to make for a great stay.

The apartment is perfectly situated in the heart of Waikiki. Above the Chart House (great happy hours and live music), a walk to the beach and a stunning view, it is a very cental location. The apartment is a bit "tired". The carpet has seen better days and there have been no updates and the linens are a bit sad, but the unit was well appointed to prepare meals, good wifi, good television and the tiny lanai is great for morning coffee. A bit pricey, but so is everything in Waikiki.

Note: Vacancy calendar is approximate. Visit the owner/manager's reservation site to verify your dates.
