My wife and I have been coming to 205 for the last 15 years and we have never been disappointed. It’s always clean, well kept and equipped with everything you need to make your stay memorable. It’s perfectly situated in Kihei, a walk to the beach, close to restaurants, close to the pool and tennis courts, not to mention the Pickleball court. The spacious unit has a view that is unforgettable either for the sunrise or sunset, and the grounds are immaculate. You will come back to this unit the next time you visit Maui and it will feel like coming home.

Our rental was good. The location of this place is why I’ll keep coming back! It wasn’t the most updated unit we have stayed in but it was clean and comfortable! They had enough beach supplies to make our beach trips awesome! The air conditioners worked well. My coffee maker was broken upon arrival so the office exchanged it easily and without troubles! Good customer service there!

We enjoyed a fantastic 12-day stay at HK 205 (2 adults, a 3-year-old, a 6-year-old). The location, just across the street from a great beach and adjacent to the pool, couldn't have worked out better. The unit is clean and well equipped - we were happily surprised by all the snorkeling gear, beach toys, and other recreational gear available for use. Beds, including the pull-out couch, were comfortable, and plenty of bedding and towels provided, along with a very well-stocked kitchen. The owner has gone out of their way to make sure guests feel welcome, and was responsive to communication. Would definitely like to return, and would recommend to anyone interested in a stay in Kihei.

The condo was excellent , probably one of the best stocked condo rentals we have had from the kitchen to the beach chairs ,flippers and goggles , boogie boards .the unit was spotless and clean and everything worked . The view from the patio was great and only a 5 minute walk to the beach from this condo and pool was great also . Would definitely take a look if you want to spend some in maui . I plan to rent it again next year .

Overall the unit was in good condition for the price. We have stayed at the Hale Kamaole more than a dozen times at different units over the years. This unit has not been recently update as some in the complex but the rental cost reflects that. If you are looking for something a little more updated you may not want this unit. It really could use a deep cleaning in the kitchen and a scrub done on the walls/door of the bathroom. The faucet in the tub needs replaced as the temperature was not constant and you were either being burned or freezing so please be cautious of younger children using it. The kitchen has the basic amenities but not as extensive as others we have been at. Ice packs for the cooler, chip clips, cooking utensils and a nicer set of pans to cook with would be a few suggestions. On the plus side there is a a great selection of snap ware above the microwave. The bed sheets were paper thin and motel quality at best and we would recommend something with a little more thread count as a minimal upgrade. While there were beach chairs provided we did end up renting chairs for the week as the ones provided were so heavy and bulky to carry out on the beach it wasn't worth it. If you are looking for economy this is your unit if you are wanting something a little more home away from home this unit may not be for you.

We just stayed there for 5 nights. PROS: Location, quiet, parking, lots of towels, lots of beach toys, plenty of cookware, washer and dryer, air conditioning, well stocked. CONS: Needs a deep cleaning. Bathroom not clean and very outdated. There is a moldy old smell in the entire apartment.

Only thing that was an issue was the people feeding the Roosters! So unless your a heavy sleeper or you run the A/C all night they are quite annoying in the very early AM! Other than that it was a Fantastic stay!

Our place was beautiful and the grounds were exceptional. I loved how the condo allowed previous renters to leave spices, sugar, coffee, lotions and beach supplies for our use. Unlike a lot of condos they had every supply that we could possibly need for the unit. I could watch the sunset from my lanai. The beach was right across the street and they were awesome snorkeling and beaches nearby. There were many stores and restaurants along the strip, and better priced grocery store’s within 20 minutes. I would definitely recommend this place. The only downside was we could not get the Smart TV to work. It did not appear to be hooked up to the internet?. There was a paper near the main TV stating the telephone and TV/ cable not working. This was not a problem since I had brought my ROKU with me, and could set that up myself, but it should be fixed for other renters

Relaxing, clean, and well stocked condo with a view of the ocean. Spent a lot of time on the Lanai, enjoying the Hawaii air :) The internet did go out almost immediately upon our arrival, but we didn't even bother contacting the owner about it because we didn't need it. I'm sure she would have been responsive. There is also some road noise, the condo being just on the other side of the road from the beach, but can't complain about that! Amazing sunsets every night. Thank you Marcia for creating this home away from home for others to enjoy.

The location of this condo was perfect for my daughter and I, we rented a car so parking was readily available, the condo was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable vacation, and the location was perfect for us, Kamaole Beach #3 was right across the street, easy walking to restaurants shops and local attractions in Kihei. Condo complex was clean quiet and well kept, we will be back.

Well updated unit with ocean views. Unit also has comfortable bed & sofa. Kitchen well stocked with essentials. The storage closets well stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers & even a frisbee. Unit close to pool, two gas/two charcoal grills. Felt safe enough to leave lanai door open the entire day. Saw turtles at beach across the street. Along with parakeets at park.

Great location across from a beautiful park, beach & cove where sea turtles congregate. Booking and check in was easy. However there was a huge problem after we unpacked. The toilet overflowed The office was closed (they close early on weekends). I called every number I could find in my check in paper. No answer. This was an emergency! Went back to the office and called every number on the board - finally reached an after hours number who said he didn't handle our unit but he gave me a number to call. I reached a wonderful person who came right over to help. It took hours to fix but after that we were good. Our first afternoon and night was ruined however. Nobody from the office ever called me back to be sure we were okay. Due to this lack of communication and follow-up I would hesitate to recommend this place. At the very least, a follow up call and offer to discount our stay should have happened.

Quick trip—-we knew we had slim pickings. Have stayed in hale Kamaole many times so we were ready for anything. What a pleasant surprise as the unit was lovely and stocked to cook meals etc. worked out perfectly The signs for the main room AC could be better positioned.

Great vacation. The unit was clean and in good condition. The unit needs a sun shade on the Lanai as the sun shines mercilessly on this side of the development. The unit could use updating as it is in mostly original condition. Furniture was not very comfortable as it is the older tiki or bamboo style.

This was our second week in Maui. We always enjoy our time in Kihei. Our condo was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our view and the sunset serenades by others living/ staying there with their conch shells at sunset. Great location with easy access to beaches, food and exploring. Would stay there again.

I stayed in unit 205 over the Christmas holidays with my daughters. I have been to Maui and stayed at different condos over the years. The location of unit 205 is wonderful and you have a beautiful view of the ocean. The unit is well-organized and there are all the essentials that you need. I do believe that the unit is in need of a refresh as it seems very dated and looks similar to units I stayed in back in the early 90s. The unit was not cleaned very well and was dirty when my daughters and I moved in. We had to give it a good clean and found old food under the hide-a-bed. There were no proper cleaning supplies in the unit and with Covid you need more than a vinegar/Dawn solution to clean surfaces. I went out and bought my own! The towels in the unit were very old and the bath mats, (in my opinion), need to be thrown out. New, clean towels, etc... are cheap at Costco! Also, on the day we were leaving, there was a larva outbreak. It was disgusting! I have no idea where the larvae were coming from. It seemed like they were coming out of the floor boards. I kept the unit spotless while I was there so I did not cause this. If people are spending their hard earned money to enjoy a vacation away from home, I’m my opinion, the unit must be cleaned well between stays. Lastly, a small pantry or shelving unit to keep food on would be helpful. These are my honest thoughts and I think given the beautiful view, the unit could be fabulous with some updates.

Apartment was spacious and clean, and location couldn't be better across from the beach. Tiny hiccup at checkin (must hit # key before entering lock code) but reception was so helpful even though it was after office hours. Highly recommend!
