This condo was perfect for our family, which is myself, my husband and our two boys (4 & 6). The location can't be beat and this condo even had a beautiful ocean view off the lanai. We love Kamole Park 3 and it's just a short walk across the street. The beach at the park is also wonderful and we had many turtle sightings during our visit. This condo has 2 pools so the pool area never seemed over crowded and was a very nice atmosphere. We also used the community BBQ's to cook our dinner many nights. Overall this Maui trip was a great success and we would stay at this condo again.

The suite was nice, quiet, relaxing and clean on the surface, but there were cockroaches, small ones in the kitchen and the bedroom. Check in was at 4 pm, but the cleaner was still there, just for another 15 minutes. Overall very enjoyable stay. I would go back.

We had stayed at Hale Kamaole before so we knew what to expect. The photos represented the property accurately. For the price this was a pleasant place to stay. We appreciated comfortable bed, the new microfiber towels, the ample beach chairs, and the laundry soap provided. The property could use a coffee grinder and some lightweight blankets for the sofa beds. It was a wonderful trip.

The room was nice and cold, washer and dryer, nice kitchen, and view. The pull out bed my kids wished was more comfortable but they survived. Great location. We loved it.

Overall experience was positive. Had issue with microwave but was fixed quickly. While hideabed was not used the couch was not really in good shape. Also had many insects in kitchen area. Still this condo would be at the top of our list when we return next year.

Over the years we have stayed in many units in Hale Kamaole. We love the complex, its amenities and its location. Even though this unit wasn't the newest, up-to-date remodel, it was satisfactory. However, the kitchen cabinets were built for very tall people and at 6 feet, they still were a stretch for us. Appliances are all very nice. The drinking glass supply was dismal but the supply of dishes was endless. We were surprised to have to deal with some bugs in the kitchen, though, since we never had any such experiences in other units we've rented whether on the first, second or third floors. We did report this to the cleaning gals as we left the unit.
The bathroom shower definitely needs to be overhauled; otherwise, the bathroom cabinets are nice and adequate. Bedroom linens and bed are good. Dining and living room furniture are adequate and, once we were shown how to get channels on the TV, we were able to watch some programs. We really enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella and the fantastic microfiber beach towels.
The view and the location of the unit are very good, and so, we can recommend the unit if you're not looking for something deluxe.

Overall we were happy with the accommodation. Kihei is a great central location on the island and there are a lot of very accessible beach areas with great snorkelling, restaurants, and shops close by. There was a great storage area in the condo connected to the balcony where all the beach accessories could be stored and hung to dry. There were a few downsides, though they were minor. There seemed to be a fair bit of sand on the floor and this was the first time we had cockroaches in an accommodation. We're aware that Hawaii is a tropical destination, but we've visited several of the islands without seeing any before so it was a bit surprising. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The location is great, and has a view of the ocean and Haleakala from the balcony.

The condo was perfect for us. The location was great for walking along the pathway all the way past Wailea. Also a short walk for dinner or an ice cream cone. We could see whales spouting right from our lanai!! Sunset watching from Kamaole III right across the street was icing on the cake. Would love to stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here over Thanksgiving 2022 and the condo was amazing! It was clean, updated, spacious, and the location was awesome. Very close to beaches, restaurants, and shopping all within walking distance. We would stay again when we go back!

Gorgeous property, walking distance to beach. Loved the view from the lanai - saw whales every day! Grounds are well taken care of, no insects anywhere. Had a wonderful visit, will definitely return.

Property was as advertised. Nice location with great sunsets.
Walking distance to some shops and restaurants, and a quick drive to others plus supermarkets. Nice park & beach across the road. Unit was well stocked with everything you need including beach chairs and coolers. Close to pool and BBQs. Bathroom could use an update. Overall a good stay. Would recommend Hale Kamaole.

View from this unit was outstanding but the rates are higher as a result. Pretty well stocked unit, although we did purchase extra wine glasses. Ideal location for the beach, swimming pool and BBQ. The lady from the agency was most helpful and efficient in getting problems solved. Bed in the unit was not that comfortable, but we got used to it Overall this was a good stay, but next year we will be renting something less expensive.

Old apartment, old building, bedroom window AC doesn't work. Floor AC in living room takes too long to cool down the entire unit. I wouldn't stay here again. Not worth the money - the truth.

Unit and Complex in great central location and across from Kam 1 Beach; Bathroom was dirty upon arrival (floor not cleaned/hairs on floor, toothpaste on walls, shower doors dirty/ scum from previous renter, ONE spare roll of toilet paper, toilet kept running/loose flush handle), Kitchen not well stocked with supplies, ie. no baking sheet for heating up pizza, 3 mix matched wine glasses, a few mix matched drinking glasses)
Positives: Great fridge with water and ice, no carpet, A/C units x 2, nice view from balcony, King Bed, auto lock front door, lots of parking, GREAT location within unit and in Kihei, lots of deck chairs at poolside, bed was decently comfy (pillows were not), large closet/hangers in bedroom, beach amenities as listed....
I would recommend staying here, as the non positive things I mentioned, are an easy fix.

Pros! Loved the location. Quiet. Beach right across the street. We watched the sunset every night. A short walk to restaurants. Quick drive to the shops at Wailea. Condo has beach towels, a little cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and we added noodles. Condo pool is lovely. Could not have been better! Cons. Inside condo is immaculate but overdue for a furnishings update. Counter stools are bar height so they are unusable, first gen smart tv & remotes are worn out, bed mattress is hard.

Location is excellent. Very nice condo full equipped with beach kit. very nice resort with free parking, swimming pools, BBQ, etc... Excellent communication with the owner.
