Polynesian shores is a magical place and really worth what you pay! The grounds are so beautiful and it’s quiet. The sunsets from the pool area are gorgeous and although the beach isn’t ideal for swimming, there are turtles everywhere! We got to see some lounging in the sand on the beach next door, and we even snorkeled with the turtles right in front of the property. At one point we were surrounded by over 10 as they were feeding! The unit is simple and easy, no expensive finishes but you don’t need that. It’s all about the relaxation. The access to Napili bay, kapalua, and Lahaina were great. Cheap grocery store just down the road (supermarket times) and a food truck park there as well. Just north down the road is a great little public beach. We just loved every bit of staying here! The laundry access was easy to do a load and the designated parking spot for our unit made life easy. I was worried about no AC for our June stay but there was always a sea breeze to keep us cool. The other guests and tenants here are all so nice and friendly too. We will be staying here again as soon as we can return!

Beautiful location and condo was very nice.
Even with no AC in the unit it was comfortable at night with fans and windows open. During the day it gets a little warm but we were mostly outdoors. The views are beautiful! The resort property is gorgeous with tropical flowers and trees.

We loved every second of our 50 nights stay. Maui and its people won our hearts many years ago and on the grounds of Polynesian Shores, Tonya, Eric and Bree were extremly friendly and helpful. Furthermore, the permanent residents made us home away from home even more. The apartment was clean, the kitchen and bath well equiped and the bed was very confortable which is very important to us. We will be back next year and we would never consider to stay somewhere else than Polynesian Shores when travelling to Maui. Mahalo for everything!!!

My husband and I really enjoy Polynesian Shores Condos! We have changed units a few times throughout the years, depending on the size of our family traveling with us. This was our first trip alone. The property is perfect for a couple or family. We love the beautiful ocean view, pool and hot tub. We had a great time exploring the tide pools that are a short walk away from each unit and watching turtles and whales near by. We also looked forward to the amazing sunsets each evening. The tiki torches along the ocean were an added bonus. Our units have always felt very cozy and safe. We really enjoyed all the beautiful flowers and birds around the property. We will definitely stay again in the future.

This was a great place to stay. They had 2 chairs for the beach, a boogie board and a shade tent. The view to the ocean was amazing. You could walk right over to the shoreline. It was very peaceful and had a great ambiance. I would definitely stay here again!

We rented (four) 1- bedroom condos for family of 10. Have rented here several times and have recommended many others stay here. Outdoor property is beautiful with the recent upgrades and spa addition. Sadly, we had multiple issues with manager. First condo had a leak in fridge with a bowl sitting inside collecting water when we arrived. No explanation till repair man showed up, likely because nobody was in office. Condo 2, water heater went out. It was commented by manager how lucky we were to be able to shower in one of our other real apology or discount offered--only requests for entry. Even argued a bit we may have used all the hot water , which didn't exist.Condo 3-cable was out in bedroom, when asked about it not working, was told by manager tv was only in the bedroom for streaming not watching tv...even with a cable box below it. Never did send anyone to check it for 10 days....then when the plug broke in our single bathroom, we were told to brush our teeth in the kitchen sink, that's when I insisted it be repaired. Wasn't repaired, just the plug was removed so there was a gaping hole. The last straw was the lack of office in none. Couldn't get coins for laundry room as in the past either.... even though it's listed as an option on amenities sheet. Then the fire alarm from next property went off twice in middle of the night...obviously not their fault, but an added irritant to everything else. We will be looking for a new property next visit due to lack of compassion and being made to feel bothersome by manager. Not our experience in the past and definitely won't be in the future. She needs to get it together and provide real client service, not excuses about unavailable repair men and rudeness.

We had a great time in Maui. The condo was perfect. We did have some unruly neighbors above us on the last half of our stay including pouring drinks over their balcony and not respecting quiet hours. Wasn’t a huge issue we slept through most of their bad behavior. Only negative thing I can think of. Great location!!

Our rental was really dirty. The bedding and towels were well laundered but the overall unit was unclean. Someone needs to carefully go through the kitchen and give it a good cleaning. The bathroom was fairly awful too. Be prepared to purchase your own toilet paper. The manager was great and it is a great property for families. Good location and great view. Maybe the other condos are better. Mattress was old and "soggy" too. Not returning.

I was so excited to arrive at our condo- greeted by the little origami like flourishes folded into the tissues and paper towels, the bath towels shaped into pineapples, a basket of treats on the counter were gestures that showed the care taken everywhere at Polynesian Shores. (I had to run to the office to tell them how much I loved that!) The sea side location was just beautiful. People were friendly, the grounds were immaculate, and the facilities were very clean. There is a quiet, homey atmosphere and it is an easy walk or drive to stores and restaurants. We appreciated the laundry room and the lovely pool, and the staff was great. Loved it!

This is our 8th visit to the Polynesian Shores and our frst time in #107. As always, everything was perfect. They are very consistent and are never disappointed. This unit did have a floor fan that we really appreciated and used every night. Since our kids live right across the street, we will be back in the future.

Loved staying at Polynesian Shores! The condos were clean and had a great "home" feel to it. The grassy area with pool and BBQ was also a bonus! The sunsets from the condos was beautiful! All staff was friendly and welcoming. Majority if the guests would come out and sit on the lawn in the evening to watch the sunset together and chat. We will definitely be returning!
