PLEASE NOTE: Whaler Resort Enhancement Project: This project involves exterior painting and spall repair of concrete towers to enhance the appearance and durability of our property. The project will be conducted in two phases. Painting & spall repair for Tower 2 will begin on August 2023, and conclude on April 2024. We appreciate your understanding and support as The Whaler continues to improve and maintain the beauty of the resort. Whaler 359 is located in Tower 2 in -59 stack and work has been completed. Work on the neighboring 61, 63, and 65 stacks will run from February - April 2024; prices have been adjusted accordingly.
It may be noisy, dusty, annoying, and disruptive to the use and enjoyment of apartment units and their surrounding areas during this time. Due to the necessary work being performed on lanais and facades, and the potential for falling debris, apartment lanais will be closed during working hours (Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm) while work on the vertical stacks is being performed. Access to lanais during non-working hours will be allowed unless safety issues are discovered and require temporary closure. During stack construction, lanai furniture will be consolidated and protected with plastic sheeting. Lanai surfaces may become dusty during stack construction. Lanai’s adjacent to the work areas may experience some wind blown dust from construction area.

Whalers is a great location and this condo is a nice place to stay. It was clean, updated, well stocked and conveniently located near the beach and Whaler’s Village which has great shopping and restaurants.
We had been warned that work was occurring on the outside of the building, but we were disappointed to find that there was plastic wrap on our deck railing which blocked the ocean view when seated and a sign indicating the deck was closed 8-5 M-F. Even though we understand that building maintenance needs to occur, we were disappointed to have missed out on an enjoyable view. Hopefully the work will be completed soon.
Maui Westside was great to work with. We would use them again.

The whole property is immaculate! Quick three minute walk to restaurants and shops at Whalers Village. Our rental was up to date and clean. The kitchen is perfect. We had a great view of sunsets from the lanai. We highly recommend.

The Whaler 359 is absolutely beautiful and the view was amazing. You are literally steps from the beach and the Whaler Village where you can find shopping, food, and a general store. Bring your snorkel equipment and enjoy black rock which is a very nice place to snorkel (you can see if from The Whaler). Great view of the beautiful sunset each night, I would defiantly recommend The Whaler and I would stay here again when I return to Maui.

We brought our 4-year old and 9-month old to Hawaii for the first time and couldn’t have imagined a more magical time. The condo is right in the mix of all the action with restaurants and shops super close by, but also has a smaller resort feel that makes it feel comfortable and homey. The pool was perfect and my only gripe which is totally out of anyone’s control is there is no shallow end in the pool… it’s 5-6 feet deep all the way around. So as a shortie myself, this made it hard to just chill in the pool unless we were loitering on the stairs. Which was totally fine though. This unit has a gorgeous ocean view and a spacious lanai. The condo has everything you could possibly need from toilet paper to paper towels. The property management even left delicious Kona coffee for us (me) to enjoy! And one of my favorite selling points… the espresso machine! I didn’t even have to miss any of my comforts from home! The furniture was comfy and the place was super clean. I would 1000 percent recommend this place to anyone and will return if I’m lucky enough to take another trip to Maui! Mahalo for a wonderful trip.

My family enjoyed the stay at the spacious, updated unit at the Whaler Ka’anapali. Place was as presented, warm and welcoming! Great location and friendly front desk staff. Just a short walk to our hosts’ place at the Westin Resort which is separated by a great shopping mall, all right off the ocean! Would recommend booking!

We have stayed at the Whaler property for years, and this unit was one of our favorites! Nicely renovated, clean, and came with many "extras" such as sand toys, beach chairs, and even items for children (High chair, floaties, and a pack and play!) The property management team was very kind, understanding, and communicative!
