This condo was perfect. Plenty of space, although we mostly only showered, slept, and ate breakfast here. The location was really convenient. Right across the road from Kam III Beach. Next to the Kehei Boat Ramp. Easy to get to the airport. Shopping nearby. There is an outdoor shower on the corner of the property that was VERY convenient. The condo itself had plenty of space with AC units we could turn on if we go too warm or ceiling fans to keep the air moving. Kitchen was fully equipped. Layout worked perfectly for our family. I would 100% stay here again.

My wife and I took our Grandkids to Maui in August and stayed at this property. We had a great time and the accommodations added to the experience. We were able to use the loft as a third bedroom which worked out well. The unit also had lots of extras (coolers, masks, etc) which was appreciated. Being directly across from Kam 3 was very handy.

We really liked the location of this condo. It's pretty much close to everything and walking distance or very short rides to the best beaches. But we found it was hard to sleep as the fans are very slow and impossible to control and the air-conditioning only allowed till 10pm. So the lift are were my daughter slept was very hot with no air movement. This unit had a lot if towels for beach and beach chairs. It has an amazing collection of very good knives but not enough pots and pans if you really intend to cook.The staff was very nice. One if the kitchen cabinets doors was broken and I complained to the office in the morning, so it was fixed in the afternoon, very efficient! Overall we were pleased with our stay and the complex is very green, with the pool and grills.

The overall maintenance of the condo complex was good, clean grounds and pool. Our condo had insufficient air conditioning, failing cabinets, burned out lights, stained carpet, cockroaches and uncomfortable beds. 2 other condos rented by our group had great, updated condos that we would be happy to rent. #258 needs a remodel.

The location of the property was great. Walking distance to shops and the beach. The unit provided us with plenty of beach towels and chairs. The unit needs some updating. The furniture and carpet have seen their days. My biggest complaint was the cockroaches that came out on our last night. We trapped 5 huge ones! Gross. Overall, the place was okay. I would stay again if I knew the roaches would be gone.

The location of the property was great. Walking distance to shops and the beach. The unit provided us with plenty of beach towels and chairs. The unit needs some updating. Carpets are extremely dirty and stained. Couch in living room is heavily stained. Rattan chairs in dining room very uncomfortable and probably on their last legs. Found 3 roaches in first two days(upstairs bathroom; downstairs bedroom; kitchen cupboard above stove). I contacted management and they came immediately and laid more roach traps and we did not see anymore. The kitchen drawers had not been cleaned before our arrival and they were full of crumbs, etc. The oven drawer had not been cleaned and there was old food crumbs and scraps all over the dishes that were stored there. No access to broom and dust pan until a few days before our departure. No baking sheet. This unit needs more large bowls (there was only one plastic one). The beds are comfortable. There is a good supply of beach chairs, toys, etc in sports cupboard off lanai.

We stayed in a 2bed/2bath unit which also had a loft space with a queen size bed. This was perfect for our group of 4. The unit was setup with all the kitchenware needed and also a visit's worth of laundry and dish soap, plenty of towels, etc. We also took advantage of the shared bbq area a couple of times. The only drawback is that a/c units are only in the two bedrooms, while the rest of the unit has ceiling fans. Cooking in the kitchen was very warm and during the day the upper floor would get quite hot; the a/c units could not support the entire space. Maybe visiting during August is not the best for these, but we made due and enjoyed our week overall.The location is perfect, with many restaurants and shops in walking distance. Right across the street from the beach.Office staff was very helpful and answered all our questions. The only odd contact was on our first day, shortly after arrival. the phone rang and the person identified herself as the concierge. She offered a meet & greet in the morning, offering coffee/tea and pastries to orient us to what the area offered. When we met her the next morning, she was actually a travel/tour agent.

Overall we were very pleased with the accommodations at this property. The unit could use some updating as compared to some of the other units it’s a little dated. Older appliances. No ice maker. Bathroom showers have recently been updated so keep going! Excellent location. Couch in living room is horribly uncomfortable. Other than complaints!

We love the area and location of the condo , this is our second time at Hale Kamaole , not the same condo, overall we were very satisfied , there was only one tennis racquet , and the tv in bedroom did not work , asked at the front desk if they could get another racquet , but did not get one , but it was not a big deal, we would come back .

Got there about midnite Mar 18, late check in. Sign said to call Scott, call about 30 times, no answer (he said he his phone was turned off but it rang 4 times before going to voice mail). Thankfully we had family staying at this resort so were able to sleep on their sofas. BTW, we had 2 exhausted young children. We were comped a free night & some gift cards to Foodland. But our first nite was not great. Next nite the hot water tank in our unit blew up so had repair men there till almost midnite. Not as bad for us as for the unit below.As for #258 itself, the master bed was comfy with nice sheets,the ceiling needs dusting though. The downstairs bedrooms sheets looked like they were from the 80's. The carpet was quite filthy in all areas. The kitchen was poorly equipped, not a sharp knife to be found. The entire decor was pretty poor from what I saw of other suites. We stayed at this resort because it was a huge family gathering, this was the last 2 bdrm unit available. I certainly don't think it was worth the money we paid.That said, the grounds are beautiful, kids love the pools, the BBQ's are spotless, great location across from an awesome beach.

Unit #258 needs all new linens and towels. It's pretty run down and could use some TLC from its owners. The re-modeled bathrooms were great, but the kitchen and mish mash of furniture throughout was not. The pillows all need to be replaced too. It's a great complex, but this particular unit is not very nice and looks nothing like the photo

The location in south Kihei was perfect for us. Lots of parking. Good size. Doesn't get a lot of DIRECT sun, which was great for us; just the warm breeze. A/C in both bedrooms was helpful in the heat. Appreciated the washer and dryer, and dishwasher. Relatively quiet spot too. Real good feel to the place.Just little things were off -- carpet is quite stained in the living room. Door to one of the bathrooms needed tightening. Screen door to lanai kept "sticking" to the main slider.But overall great. Thank you.

We came as a family, My husband and I, his sister and her husband and my mother in law. We had an amazing stay. The place was close to an amazing beach where we swam with turtles. Everyone was super friendly and the grounds were imaculate. Condo was plain but perfect for us. Loved it!

We had a fantastic time in Kehei. The location of the rental property was great. The accommodation was a little sparse, but we really did not spend that much time inside. We would have liked it if they had supplied some more basic necessities. Four rolls of toliet paper for 6 guests for two weeks????But onto the real reason we come back every few years. The weather was hot the whole time and there was so much to do. Snorkeling in different locations almost every morning and then boogie boarding at Kam 3 in the afternoon. Even managed to join in on some beach volleyball at Big Beach. AMAZING.

Bottom-Line: This unit easily accommodated our group of 6 for a decent price point and was the perfect base camp for exploring the whole island. We basically just slept and cooked there and were outside for the rest of the time. This rental got the job done for us, but if you're looking for something that is immaculately maintained or you're spending plenty of time indoors, you should try elsewhere.The location was hands-down the highlight of this unit. Kamaole Beach Park 3 was a 5-minute walk away and sea turtles were abundant. It's a little further from shops and restaurants, but the Kam 3 Beach seemed the nicest. The complex as a whole contained great amenities including pools, grills, beach showers, etc.The unit itself was pretty basic and somewhat outdated. The carpet seemed fairly dirty and some of the bedrooms could have used a deep cleaning. We often had to wash dishes that came out of the dishwasher again, and we had to buy sponges and dish soap because there wasn't any left. The microwave was broken. A/C units worked well but were only in the 2 bedrooms, leaving the rest of the unit quite warm at times. Bathrooms were both very nice and clean.

Spacious for family of 5. Great location walking distance to Kam 3, to swim with the turtles! Easy to get to, managers were really helpful and easy to work with.
The place is a little dated and only has window a/c units in the bedrooms but with a nice cross-breeze it was just fine!

I will tell you what we really enjoyed...we loved the nearness to the pool and Kam 3 beach where we saw turtles every day. It was great that my sister's family also stayed in the complex which helped us have a true family vacation. Easily holds 6 people. There is no AC in the living room but we combatted this by leaving the bedrooms with the ACs on during the day when we were out and that cooled off the house so it was comfortable in the evening. They had beach chairs and fins for us to use.Things to improve-the dishwasher would tip out when you opened it. I let the office know so hoping that is fixed because it is a safety issue. The unit only had two really bad frying pans. I know it is a rental but man everything stuck to the pans. The vent in the kitchen did not work. The unit does not have much in terms of ambiance but was not really indoors so it did not matter.

We enjoyed our stay. Management was very helpful. We had a couple things in our room that needed tending too. Management offered to have them fixed while we were there but we declined. As long as those things were fixed you will really enjoy your stay!!
