Nice area. The place was perfect for us. It was clean and smelled good. The only thing I would say the slider windows in the bedroom need a good cleaning. The wall in the bedroom with the glass window in the shower needs to be redone.

We LOVED our stay at this property. There were 4 of us and more than enough room. The condo is tastefully decorated and extremely clean. Many items were thoughtfully included...beach chairs, beach towels, kitchen supplies, fans, lots of pillows, etc. This condo inside and out looks even better in person than the pics! The flowers and landscaping surrounding the condo is lush, mature and gorgeous. The beds were beyond comfortable! In fact, i'm going to look into getting the same mattress when i get home. The communication with the rental property was GREAT. The view of the 16th hole was entertaining. We were only steps from the pool while at the same time around the corner from it so you don't get all the noise. The pool is very clean and comfortable with enough lounge chairs for everyone. The hot tub was out of order when we got there but was fixed on our last night. You can easily walk to the beach OR take the green trolley from the fairway shops for those with difficulty walking. I would definitely stay here again! Only one little suggestion to the property manager...the bbq was awesome as we grilled a couple of times, but under the grates there's a bit of grease build up which had caught fire. The grates were clean themselves but the grease underneath probably should be cleaned out. This condo was perfect!

We had a great time with our family of four - condo is spacious and has a beautiful patio and pool area. We also enjoyed the basketball court outside, and could walk to many beaches, resorts, and shopping nearby. Hope to stay again!

Very large condo with all of the comforts of home near Kanaapali Beach. Only downside is its a bit of a walk to the beach. Other than that, the condo is great and had everything we could ask for. Much bigger than shown online. Great for a family or two couples!

We loved the condo, loved watching the sunsets from the lanai. The kitchen was well stocked with nice appliances and everything you would need for cooking. I would pack some coffee, filters, seasonings, etc.
Everything was well maintained, there was even a spare propane tank for the BBQ. The beds were comfortable. There was a beach umbrella but it would have been nice to have a few beach chairs for when we took the short walk to the beach. The washer and dryer in the unit was very handy.
We will definitely rent it again.

The unit is exactly as described - extremely comfortable, close to everything (10-15ish min walk to Whaler's Village) and has every amenity you you'll need for a great stay in Kaanapali. Having stayed in several of the hotels in Kaanapali over the years, we wanted a longer term rental in the same area and couldnt have asked for a better location and unit. Wonderful, large lanai with BBQ; steps away from the lovely pool; it had everything we hoped for and more. Communication with the property manager was extremely easy and check in was a breeze. We look forward to staying in this unit again next time we're in Kaanapali!

The location is wonderful, a short stroll to the beach and shopping, or if you want a shorter stroll, you can catch the trolly for free. The kitchen was very well equipped with all we needed. It was also a pleasant surprise to find beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach towels, toys, and a small cooler. We will definitely come back here next time we are in Maui.

Although this is a nice condo, the mattress in the master bedroom was unacceptable. We notified management early on (day 2 of 7) but never got a response. Here’s what I wrote:
“I also just wanted to bring to your attention that the king bed mattress in master suite is majorly indented on the right side. I have been trying to move to the middle but keep falling into the crater. Not sure how that was created but you may want to consider changing the mattress soon.”
Incredibly, the listing describes the mattresses as “amazing”.
I rotated the mattress in a desperate attempt to get some sleep and avoid further back injury but it was still terrible and caused a great deal of discomfort and pain to both my wife and I. Aside from the giant crater on one side, the rest of the mattress is lumpy and extremely uncomfortable as well. We are still in pain and stretching daily to try and help our backs recover. This should be a 4.5 star condo (which is why we paid so much to stay there) if they simply provide a decent mattress. Due to the lack of response, I wonder how many complaints they’ve received about this. They probably don’t want to replace the mattresses and figure people are overreacting… I think they should put that mattress in their home and sleep on it for a few days and see how their backs feel.

it out and have a wonderful vacation in beautiful Maui. We’re just extremely disappointed not as much about the bed but mostly at the lack of response and concern from the property manager/owner. We notified them we’d like a response before we reviewed them and we’re still waiting to hear back.

We were two couples that stayed 8 nights in this wonderful condo. The location was great for accessing shopping, restaurants and beaches in the area. Make sure to take advantage of the free green trolley service to get to and from the beaches/Whaler's Village - best bet is to walk there (which is downhill) and then take the trolley back (save the uphill trek back!) The condo unit is located on the main level meaning no stairs to carry your luggage, groceries, etc. up and down. The very clean and beautiful pool/hot tub/bbq area is just a few steps away from the front door and the view from the lanai is beautiful - yes you can see the ocean! The condo was well equipped with everything you would need to cook meals and there is a propane bbq/grill on the lanai. No spices/food supplies of any kind are provided for sanitary reasons so pack a few of those items in your suitcase if you have room. Parking space was never an issue although they do patrol the parking lot regularly so make sure you visit the office as soon as you get there to register your vehicle to avoid notes/tickets on your windshield. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding/towels/linens were all in great condition. The unit has 3 large air purifier units and we found if we kept them all running, it completely eliminated the musty/damp smell that we encountered when we arrived. There were a few little bugs on the kitchen counters from time to time but this is the tropics so that's not unusual - just keep your food in containers or ziplock bags on the counter. The washer/dryer looks new and worked very well. There are plenty of ceiling fans in the unit and the air conditioning kept the condo at a comfortable temperature. We had a couple minor maintenance issues that were promptly addressed by a super nice repair man within an hour of being reported. The property managers were prompt to reply to any questions/concerns. This unit is older and could use some updates in our opinion but there was nothing that would prevent us from staying here again!

The property was beautiful and the host was responsive. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, it was perfect as we cooked some nights. The pool wasn’t very big but it’s nice and quiet not overly crowded. We would definitely return.

The condo was very spacious for our family of 5 adults. They provided us with an extra blow up bed that was prepared and ready when we arrived. This is close to the beach for us adults to walk but I can see it could be more difficult if you had younger kids and a lot of gear. After the golf course closes you can cut thru but not during golf hours.
There is a great coffee shop nearby which we purchased our beans to make our coffee each morning. The condo had everything we needed.
The only deterrents we’re the arrangements of the bathrooms both being in the bedrooms. This was difficult for my one son that slept in the living room. He had to come into a bedroom to use the bathroom at night.
There was a little musty smell when we first arrived but it quickly went away once we opened the windows. We loved the back porch. Lastly, the management company was awesome and answered all my questions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kaanapali Royal in Maui. We unfortunately experienced a leaking plumbing pipe from the above unit that we noticed when we checked in on Dec 26th. We promptly called the property manager who arrived on site to survey and make plans for resolution. The property manager was amazing to work with...responsive, considerate, and worked for a prompt resolution. The issue was resolved early the next morning and we enjoyed the rest of our time in the condo. We were impressed with the service and attentiveness of the property manager.
The condo was very large and had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Maui. The property is well maintained with beautiful grounds, pool, and grill area. The golf course view was relaxing watching from the lanai. This unit is beautifully decorated with comfortable beds, full size laundry, large kitchen with everything you need to prepare and store your meals.

So many things to say about this property and our time here! The place was beautiful. The pictures almost don’t do it justice. It’s even better in person! The views are amazing (we watched the sunset almost every night on the lanai). They have everything you can think of, from pitchers to make Mai Tais to chairs and umbrellas for the beach! The washer and dryer was nice to have. Next time I won’t have to pack as much. Unfortunately I left a precious necklace and bracelet behind and they were able to ship it to me! Nothing bad to say here! We loved it and will be returning! Mahalo for such a fun relaxing vacation.

We had an amazing stay at this property. It was clean and had everything we needed including beach towels, chairs, normal sized washer and dryer for our party of five with new kitchen appliances for us to dine in when needed during this COVID times. Easy walk to whalers village and the Fairway shops for things we need. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again for our next conference or vacation.
