A nice place to stay, but lacking on basic products which I would expect in the package such as no salt or pepper. Not enough toilet paper for the duration it was rented for and very few forks and not enough laundry detergent. Basic things that I did not expect to purchase just to be comfortable.

We loved our stay at Lauloa. We wanted a place in central Maui but on the ocean and away from the crowded resorts. This hit the spot. Great location to all our interests, nothing was too far. The kitchen was a great convenience and saved us a lot of time and money. The added bonus was the beach toys available to us. They really thought of all the things we needed and had them available to us. Destination Maui was so easy to deal with, we've already recommended them to several other people interested in visiting.

Clean, well-maintained, older property with elevator and pool. Great views - master bedroom has slider to lanai so you can go to sleep to the sounds of the waves. Saw turtles feeding at the seawall daily - up to 7 at one time. Well appointed condo.

Beautiful inside; everything you need is provided! Beautiful view from the lanai. We watched surfers and lots of sea turtles! Quiet and lovely landscaping as well.
Only two things could be improved: 1. Better outside lighting and 2. A firmer couch to sit on. But don't hesitate to rent this unit; it was as close to perfect as can be!

We have rented in this building many times. First time in #307, when opening the door and seeing the ocean came the biggest smile. Unit was clean and bright. The kitchen was great, nice having all the amenities. Our only complaint was the couch...please replace ,we could not sit on it so uncomfortable! The owners should be the guest to see what is comfortable and what is not. Other than that great, perhaps a gift basket would be a nice touch considering the price tag of he unit.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. The condo was comfortable and very clean. Amazing view with lots of whale activity! Only suggestion would be to add a bar height table on the lanai. Might make whale watching even better! Would definitely return.

This unit was clean and very well kept up. Everything in the kitchen was functional and fully stocked with all the pots/pans and utensils for cooking a full meal. The views are amazing, can’t get much closer to the ocean from your balcony. I would definitely stay again!

When my family and I arrived, we found the condo to be clean, well-supplied and offered wonderful views from the main living area, kitchen and master bedroom. The A/C was on and bedroom fans were running, so it made the entire space cool at all times. Throughout the week, my family and I spent time on the balcony enjoying the view, which was calming. We'd traveled to other hotel resorts to check out the beaches, but those areas always seemed too crowded with people and none seemed to have the easiest access to such a view of the water directly below. Overall, Lauloa Resort 307 was a wonderful place to stay for our family vacation. We hope to make it back there in the future.

Place was easy to find. Good location but you need to travel to get groceries or any needs you may have. Place is a bit dated which is fine but wasn’t overly clean. They did provide laundry detergent for 1 load so couldn’t wash our clothes unless we bought more. We had to buy coffee filters which was something I thought they could have had and thank goodness we noticed before traveling to grocery store as that was 25 minutes away. Bottom of dishwasher was pretty bad. Frig wasn’t clean inside or out, The view was really nice and we watched lots of turtles. They did have extra beach towels and chairs so that was nice. Don’t leave anything out like drinks or food as there were lots of tiny bugs which wasn’t in their control but to be aware.

We had a wonderful, although extended stay. The owners were more than gracious to help us with our extending our stay due to my husbands job in Hana. It was a great reprieve for my husband to be able to get away from his job in Hana and stay with me in this lovely condo. The views can't be beat watching the turtles from the lanai. Of course due to Covid things were a little wonky, but couldn't have been at a better location to enjoy all the beauty.

We were extremely lucky to have excellent weather for our 20 nights. The whales and turtles were very active and fun to watch. Lau Loa 307 is very well appointed and the location is convenient to all of Maui. While the unit and the building are older (for Maui) they are very serviceable.

We have stayed in most of the resorts in Maalaea. This one is a cut above. Well stocked with pans and dishes. We cooked everyday. Central to the whole island. Would highly recommend.

Nice view from the lanai. Turtles in the bay and a small but decent pool. BBQ’s we’re new and clean. Buuuuut…the heat pump for the a/c was right next to the lanai table and was noisy and it pumped out hot air. So, either turn it off and have a peaceful experience on the lanai or a cool apartment…but you can’t have both. Sketchy neighborhood, pretty terrible beach(1/4 mile away), and just about the windiest spot on the island and you can see why you get what you pay for. Wouldn’t recommend….

We are very familiar with Maui as we come almost yearly for a conference in February. This location was perfect for what we wanted to do- tour the island with our son and his girlfriend. The condo is spacious and comfortable. the kitchen is very well stocked. The view is outstanding! The view makes this a fantastic value for the money. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms also hard to find especially at this price with this view.
The only cons- the garbage disposal didn't work, the hot water is minimal and we couldn't all take showers with hot water, the furniture could use updating- especially in the second bedroom and living room couch. Hawaii has a lot of bugs because of the weather and I am used to this as we lived on oahu for three years. This unit has some small ants but this is easily managed by keeping all food in the refigerator. We loved our stay and I recommend this condo unit!

Originally I had a few problems with the condo. The property manager came over on two separate occasions promptly and fixed. My hats off to Rosemary from the property manager company she did a great job and fix the problems that we had. One small thing to complain about is that this deck faces south and there are no sunsets. The property and grounds are very clean with washer/dryer.
