The condo was fantastic and had everything we needed. Awesome location for easy trail access and sunrises. Very short drive or walk to Poipu Beach and other surrounding beaches. The ocean views, sounds of waves crashing, and watching the honu, seals, and dolphins from the balcony were a highlight of the trip. Property manager was very responsive!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The location and view of the waves crashing on the cove are incredible... front row seats! The location in the south of Kauai was also great and a swimmable beach with snorkeling, sea turtles and seals was just down the road. The check-in and out process was easy and the apartment had everything we needed including A/C.

We loved our stay in Poipu. The property was very well kept, had great amenities (including pool, hot tub), an amazing ocean view, and the kitchen is extremely well organized with multiple sets of dishes, pots, and pans, etc. Overall, this was a fantastic stay and we would definitely recommend it to others!

I stayed here with my husband for my 40th birthday. We had the best time! From the get-go, Evelyn made her best efforts to make our stay special.
Check in process was very simple and Evelyn even allowed us to check in a few hours early which we appreciated! She had a very nice welcome basket waiting upon our arrival. The view/location of the home did not disappoint, nor did all the amenities provided. We didn't use much of the kitchen , but from what I can tell, it was fully stocked. The bed was very very comfortable!
We woke up every morning before sunrise and sat on the lanai and watched the sunrise and sunset. Such a pretty view of the ocean.
The area itself was close to a lot of great walks, beaches, and trails. I would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you Evelyn.

You can’t beat the view of this condo. The ocean crashes right outside your patio and you can hear the waves all night long. It’s amazing. The main bed (we didn’t use the second bedroom) was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies. The kitchen was very functional and the chef knife was actually sharp which I really appreciated. Finally, the management left us a few goodies including a perfectly ripe pineapple! Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend it.

was spacious clean comfortable and wlell stocked. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was extremely convenient.
Management was prompt to reply to one small issue. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Kauai!

Had such a nice family vacation here. The ocean view was just incredible, very peaceful, and a close drive to the beaches and other places to eat! Check- in and communication were easy and the place was actually bigger than it looked online. Loved the beach supplies that were provided as well as the recommendations that were given! This property exceeded our expectations. Although, there were some minor blips with appliances, they were not significant enough to influence our opinion of the rental property. It would have been nice if the property management would communicate changes to the resort property, ie: the hot tub that had been out of service for several weeks. I think the stunning views made up for this lack of communication.

We had a fantastic time at this condo and with our stay in Kauai. The location was great, so close to restaurant's, shopping, and the beach. We even rented e-bikes and toured around the south part of the island. Took a few day trips to the North and West side of the island, with more beaches and shops to explore. There is so much to do and see. We also took a Kayak and Hike excursion to the Secret Falls. So happy with our choice!!

Condo was beautiful, clean, and even bigger than it appeared in pictures. Views were just incredible. We were there for the king tides and the record waves and it was amazing to watch the ocean in all of its glory. As the tides and waves calmed during our 3 day stay, we were able to see sea turtles out past the rocks when they came up for air.
Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, and everything at the condo was lovely. We hope to return again sometime.

This property is located oceanside with a fabulous view of the crashing waves against lava rocks. It’s breathtaking. We love the short walk to Brennekes and Tidepools. Great location. Room air conditioning units kept the condo comfortable. Will definitely return.

Loved everything about this place. My only complaint, is we didn't stay long enough! Great location, only a mile walk to the nearest beach. Early evenings we sat out on the lanai and enjoyed watching the crashing waves and many sea turtles with a glass of wine! Would definitely stay here again in the future.

I do not have the words to truly describe how amazing and breathtaking our visit to Kauai was. First, the property although it was built decades ago it has been kept clean and decorated beautifully. The best part was the view from the lanai and the energy of the entire space hearing the waves crashing against the lava rocks all day every day! This by far has been the most amazing VRBO property we have had the opportunity to stay at and enjoy even though our time was short. It truly was memorable! The property owner and especially the property management team were so nice, professional, and personable. The island of Kauai itself is breathtakingly beautiful! I truly hope it stays that way and doesn't become overly crowded, I hope that billionaires don't ruin it with money and greed. Everything about that island speaks volumes of peace, tranquility, lush green vegetation, untouched nature, culture, and infinite beauty. I would definitely recommend this property. We look forward to visiting again very soon. With hugs filled with love ......Much Mahalo!

We had a great stay in Kauai at the condo. Very comfortable and clean. Had EVERY necessity! There was 4 of us and very spacious. Lots of fans everywhere and the condo stayed cool. The ONLY thing I would say is they needed was a king bed in the second bedroom. Overall, fantastic!

Everything was amazing. We went island hopping and our last island, Kauai, was going to be out downtime island. And ww simply enjoyed our stay.
The only thing is the upstairs neighbor, heavy foot.

The location and place were great. The one thing for our group was that we had two adult couples and the 2 suites (master vs secondary) were not very different. The second bedroom/bathroom did not live up the rest of place (which was amazing). Its a small gripe and we really enjoyed our stay. The ocean view was insane- we saw turtles from the porch every morning while drinking coffee. Highly recommend!! I wish I could give 4.5 stars.

We booked this condo, having stayed in another unit a few years prior. My only request to my husband this time was to have at least a bit of a view. We have 2 young kids so we end up being “home” more often than some. The walk down to the unit was private, and 1 turn around the corner of the entry way and the view was the first thing I noticed. Full ocean view from the Lanai and the master bedroom. The entire place was exquisite with everything we could want. We cooked a lot in the amazing kitchen. Beds were comfy and plenty of extra pillows and blankets, not that we needed them. The AC unit in each room was nice in the afternoon but ceiling fans were perfect all other time. We spent most of the time on the Lanai, cocktail in hand. You can see the sunrise and sunset and spend the day watching the dolphins pass by or turtles in the cove. We had the most amazing time and already recommend to friends and family.

It was wonderful waking and goi g to sleep to the sounds and sights of the ocean! Perfect location to see and do it all. To wrap up each evening with a jacuzzi soak topped off to end each amazing day. Would definitely return for this piece of paradise

Wonderful condo in quiet complex just 10-15 min walk to either brenneke or shipwreck beaches. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of space for four adults with both bedrooms having en suite bathrooms. We loved eating breakfast and dinner on the lanai overlooking the pounding surf. Every day we saw honu from the lanai! We didn’t use the AC as the fans and breeze from the ocean kept us comfortable but it was nice knowing we had the AC option. And when I say it was quiet, I mean that we didn’t hear anyone else in the complex our whole stay-you can however hear the crashing waves :) Thanks for a lovely weekend on Kauai!

This is so worth the money. While the condo is dated and the bathrooms need a makeover, the kitchen is very good and so is the master and huge living room. I was so surprised at the 10 ft ceilings which make the place feel very grand and spacious. You could not get a better location. We were mesmerized by the crashing of the waves on the bluffs right below us and we were constantly entertained by the turtles in the cove below and the dolphins further out. The condo is well equipped with beach chairs, great quality beach towels, books, guide books, brand new AC units. If they ever decide to redecorate in a more modern theme and improve the overhead lighting (really dim in the back bedroom and bathrooms), I feel that they could charge more than double the current rate. BUT, we loved it as it is, a bit retro with unbelievable views.

Great property overall. You can't beat being right on the ocean. Everyday we watched sea turtles and other ocean creatures swimming in the bay directly below us. This is a beautiful property, nicely decorated, and quite comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 3 weeks during May-June 2021
* Best location on Kauai for daily walks along the ocean towards Mahaulepu trail, sunrise and sunset views are both breathtaking; Central location for driving to Waimea, towns in the inland, or East side of the Island. A bit far going to Hanalei, but it’s better to visit Hanalei far once than from Hanalei to drive very far to everywhere else.
* The condo is well managed with everything you need for cooking & resting and also exceptionally clean and organized. Eve, the host is probably the most capable and nice host we have experienced. My husband and I have been staying in different condos/house in different islands in Hawaii for 1-3 months a time in the similar price range/night. This condo has the best price performance in our view especially if you like daily sunrise/sunset walk along the ocean.
* A cool and unique balcony has a view like living on a ship. If you sit there during the day, you will see turtles within 15 mins. We even saw a family of dolphins twice & a very late Whale family in late May when we just arrived. Of course, watching/guessing different size of waves is always fun and soothing. And if you are lucky, you can see the rainbows and the unique blue color clouds before the sunset like we did last night. (6/11)
* Of course, nothing is perfect for everyone. As a sailor we love the ocean sound but if you don’t like the wave crashing sound at night … you need to think about it.
