We were so happy with the location of this rental and the amazing views from our lanai. We love to stay in the Lahaina area of Maui and this condo is our favorite so far. We were devastated to hear of the fire that affected so many residents and others of Lahaina. Our prayers and hopes are with them so that they can receive peace and relief in this difficult time. We wondered how the effects of the fires would affect a trip to Maui. It was sad to see the devastation left by the fires but we were able to enjoy the island of Maui in different ways than we had in the past and still support local vendors as they try to recoup from their losses. This condo offers many amenities that we enjoyed while staying there. They had a washer a dryer, a dishwasher, an air conditioner in the bedroom plus a fan and a fan in the living room. The Lanai is large for the size of the condo. They had two beach chairs, and some other equipment like an umbrella for the beach and a mat or two. The sofa bed is really comfortable and when made into a bed it is way better than many other sofa beds we have used. There are nice TV’s in the living room and in the bedroom. We didn’t reallly ever use them since we spent much of our time outside. The sunsets are gorgeous from this location and the grounds are amazing and so beautiful. The property management company and the owners were very helpful and accommodating for our times and dates with a last minute booking. We will definitely be renting here again

AMAZING VIEW!! As good of view as you can get on Maui.. watches sunsets with turtles swimming , swam with the turtles, beach supplies here in the condo ( chairs, umbrella , cooler, some snorkel stuff) big heated pool, condo is older but nicely updated in living room / kitchen ..everything you need for preparing your own meals cold AC in bedroom, Patio/view is def THE best thing here- ( and the little would beach here was sweet!) totally worth it -would stay here again.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and we were greeted with an anniversary balloon and bottle of champagne. The deck was lovely to enjoy our morning coffee on. We greatly enjoyed ourselves!

We were amazed with the view from this condo unit. Whether it's day or evening, the view is unreal. It made our meals on the balcony very pleasant and relaxing everyday. Unlike other condo units, there is no obstruction to the view from this unit (perfect location). It's a one-bedroom unit on the 3rd floor (no elevator) with a full kitchen and a small washer and dryer. It has an AC in the bedroom. It would be nice to have another AC unit in the living room as it could very hot during the day. However, opening the balcony door and the entrance door helps cool down the heat as it creates a wind tunnel effect. Beach and pool is just a minute walk away. Beach is calm and good for snorkeling. Times Supermarket and food trucks are just about 1/4 mile away. The shower curtain could use more magnets at the bottom to hold it down to the tub as there's a big draft pulling it towards you when you shower. It's a constant battle with the curtain as you shower (very inconvenient). The lack of AC unit in the living room and the battle with the shower curtain were minor issues compared to the unbelievable view you get everday. Wish we stayed longer. Will stay here again in the future.

The property has a beautiful ocean front view from the lanai. It was clean and well stocked with all of the usual appliances you would expect in your home kitchen. The bedroom is air conditioned, while the living room has a ceiling fan. Parking was easy. There's no assigned parking stall, but the resort has a dedicated lot where you can park your vehicle in any space. My only minor complaint would be about the shower head. The water pressure is insane and makes you feel like you're showering using a pressure washer. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and I would definitely book with them again.

Gorgeous landscaping and beautifully-kept grounds. Amazing snorkeling with turtles that can be seen from the property.

Perfect location! Just out of the Kaanapali hustle & bustle, but close enough to visit for a meal. Beautiful grounds & I can sit for hours watching the ocean from our balcony. Very comfortable.

The highlight of this unit is the gorgeous view of the ocean and grounds from the balcony. We also appreciated the use of the beach chairs and umbrellas which were much appreciated. We also appreciated the A/C in the bedroom but didn't need it much as the the cross breeze from the balcony was sufficient.
We love Kuleana Resort and have stayed in different units over the years. The pool is perfect for afternoon swims and the landscaping is gorgeous on the grounds. The barbecues are a great amenity too. The location on the island is perfect too for making trips both North and South.

You couldn’t ask for a better view. Personal sunsets every evening, snorkeling in a turtle sanctuary right in front, beautiful grounds. The unit was clean and neat, and check in was a breeze. Grounds were also quiet, which was great. We weren’t looking to party, just relax. Only thing of note is there are three flights of stairs to the unit. Not a negative, just something to be aware of if you have any challenges. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a unit on the top/third floor with no elevator, so if you have a lot of luggage and groceries you will be hauling it all up several flights of stairs. With that said we were in and out of the unit every day, multiple times a day and the stairs were not a problem for any of us (ages 9-80). The community is absolutely wonderful, this place seems to attract friendly individuals and families alike. Any issues we had we spoke with Hoku at the front office and she was wonderfully attentive and kind. In their community room there is a ping pong table, also a tennis court on site and a putting green. A barbecuing station with several gas grills face the ocean and is a grill-masters dream, we grilled for several nights because it was so inviting. The barbecuing station is cleaned by maintenance at least once a day. The pool is centrally located and is quite large, our daughter lived in there during our stay.
The unit itself was cute and cozy. It sleeps four but we probably wouldn’t recommend it unless it’s a family unit, like parents and two kids. As none of the doors inside lock (bedroom or bathroom) which may be a problem regardless for folks. The condo is nicely stocked with some baking and cookware. The tv even has an enormous amount of cable channels available, along with services like Netflix and Prime video.
The icing on the cake however is the view from the lanai. A major highlight of this recent trip was getting to watch whales play in the ocean!
Lastly, aside from the inside doors not locking, the front screen door does not lock or even close properly. We loved that breeze flowing through the condo but had to trust that the Aloha Spirit doesn’t include strange creepers wandering into our place.

We enjoyed whale watching from the lanai which had a gorgeous up-close ocean view. The condo had a great selection of kitchen items, a large clean fridge, and a nice selection of beach chairs, towels, and snorkel gear available. The only negative surprise was that the accessible beaches were further away than we realized from the photos and one was marked off with a marine sanctuary sign asking you not to enter, but we fully enjoyed our stay regardless!

This place was everything I was looking for. We enjoyed amazing whale watching right from the balcony and the sunsets are out of this world. Turtles feast on the shoreline every day. We will be coming back!

I broke my leg in 3 places in Maui last time there and still have some challenges, especially walking up stairs; so when I checked into the condo and realized I had to climb 5 flights of stairs with luggage and groceries, I was actually unable to do so. My daughter had to carry everything up and thank goodness she is young and strong. Once I got in the condo, it was nice with a beautiful view; but I really wish the VRBO site made mention of the building not having an elevator to a top floor condo.

We had a wonderful stay in this West Maui condo. Located between Kaanapali and Kapalua, the condo was convenient to several of the best beaches on the island as well as shops and restaurants. The picture from the lanai is exactly what you see - great view of the ocean. The complex itself is well-maintained and quiet. In terms of amenities, it was very well stocked and had two beach chairs as well as a beach umbrella. We would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay here. The checkin process was very simple. The room was very clean and it had all amenities for our stay. This was a perfect apartment for 2 people. The view from the patio was amazing- the apartment is in the 3rd floor. It was very peaceful and we did not have any noise issue from neighbors. We also used the pool to practice snorkeling and it was very clean. If you walk down to the coastal area, the sunset is amazing to watch.

We had a great time at this resort. The property is very pretty and the view from the room is awesome! The pool is very nice, but we really wished there was a spa. The room was very clean and had everything you could need. The washer and dryer in the unit was definitely a plus. We noticed the resort is very quiet, which is great, but I felt I needed to keep the kids quiet in the pool so as not to bother the other guests and residents. Overall a great place to stay and enjoy Maui.
