We had a wonderful stay here at Hale Kamole. For a family of four it was perfect. This unit has a great patio to see the ocean and watch the sunset. The location of the condo is the farthest away from the beach (which is not far away) but just something to keep in mind if you have littles. The pool is very close. The property is immaculate and quiet. The bedrooms have AC but the main area does not. The main area can get a little warm, but you get used to it. Overall, a great condo and we enjoyed our stay!

We had a very relaxing stay along with our daughter's family who stayed in a different unit. There were a few minor issues that were dealt with as soon as they were mentioned to the front desk. The office staff were helpful and the grounds are maintained so beautifully. We have stayed here many times and the sunset views from this unit are spectacular.

This condo was very well equipped. There were plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, some beach towels, coolers and some snorkel gear. I wish I had known as I rented beach chairs and cooler from Turo. It's less than a mile to shops and restaurants and right across the street from a nice beach. We walked to meals often. It's less than 4 miles to Ulua Beach which is a nice snorkel beach with turtles. We would stay here again.

Hale Kamaole is an amazing place today. This condo is a great size with open vaulted ceilings. The condo is well equipped with everything you could possibly need, both in the kitchen and on the beach! The grounds at Hale Kamaole are beautiful, as is the view of the ocean. The pools are a great place to lounge and read a book and the barbecues are the social hub of the complex. The location is perfect, with great beaches nearby and shops/restaurants within walking distance.

The kitchen was well stocked & even had a blender, plenty of pots & pans, etc. There was plenty of pods for us to do laundry & even wash the beach towels at the end of our trip. We also went home with fresh laundered clothes. it’s a roomy place & we didn’t feel cramped. The balcony has a beautiful view of the ocean & palm trees. It’s so close to get to the beach & a quiet little retreat. Truly beautiful in a beautiful place. We had a wonderful family vacation here.

We stayed for a week in a 3rd floor condo. I thought going up and down the stairs would have been a bit much (there is an elevator), but using the stairs was really not a big deal at all plus I got my steps in! I personally sat out on the lanai every morning and watched the palm trees sway and the ocean was lovely! The condo was very well-equipped, and had nice finishes. My only negative was not having air conditioning in the kitchen/living room area. The condo grounds were beautiful and well-kept and the pool was nice and clean. All the staff was friendly and the condo itself was pretty close to most things on that side of the island. My family would definitely stay here again!

Such an easy rental to settle into from the after hour check-in, to the air conditioned bedrooms, and a well stocked unit in 342. It was our first time to the Kihei area and we will return for longer next time. Many beaches to choose from, amazing sunsets, café’s to accommodate everyone’s tastes and Foodland for groceries. Convenience is key when I travel with the family and Kihei checked all the boxes. We made it to Paia Fish Market (Southside) on our last night, and I’m glad I didn’t find it the first night, you must go here. Horhitos food truck’s fish tacos were outstanding. Shave ice and açai bowls from Beach Street Shave Ice!! Best cinnamon buns ever from “Cinnamon Bun Place”. Keawakapu Beach is a hidden gem for a day with beach chairs and a cooler for cold drinks and snacks. Mulligan’s on the Blue for a sunset dinner and drinks. Maui Brewing Company for great food/setting away from the beaches. So much more to discover next visit.

We stayed for a week with 3 adults and 3 kids, and the condo was everything we needed it to be. The condo itself was great. The pool and grounds were great. The location was great with access to the beach, and the rest of the Kihei area.One note about the beach nearest to the condo is that it can get pretty rough in the afternoon/evening, but is much calmer and good for kids in the morning. But that means its great for boogie boarding or body surfing in the afternoon.One thing that was a little weird was that the upstairs mattress was upside down. We weren't sure if that was on purpose or not. It was fine that way, but might have been more comfortable if flipped the other way.

5 star visit! This location is everything. I brought my parents to hawaii, our 2 kids, and us. Totaling 6! The upstairs bathroom was super nice. Both rooms have AC unit. The washer and dryer was nice to have after wet beach days! Lots of extra Lenin and towels. Outside closet has everything you need! Beach toys, snorkling stuff, boogie boards! Great location. You can get to the beach in 5 minutes walk. I recommend and would 100% stay here again. This was actually the nicest and most well equipped property we have ever booked. Thank you for letting us stay.

Nice and quiet but still a quick (1 walk) block to the beach. The Kihei beaches in the area are beautiful and you have easy access to things in Wailea as well. Just south enough of the main busy strip that it's not too crazy with people or traffic.

We really enjoyed this rental. Out on the deck, we had a great view of the property's trees, flowers, and pool. Beyond was the beach and ocean. The condo had 2 amazing King beds and a hideaway bed. There were 2 bathrooms. A nice kitchen with plenty of pots/pans. After a full day of playing, we enjoyed watching a movie in the relaxing living room. I really recommend playing at the beach 3 min. away. Snorkel equipment and chairs are in the deck closet. Also the whale watching tour out of Wailuku and the Maui Ocean center were the best parts of our vacation. For dinner, we enjoyed the great varieties of food/taco trucks.

My family and I rented three condos at Hale Kamaole for a week. We had two third floor units that shared a common entry and one on the first floor directly below which functioned as not only accommodation for the grandparents, but also as a pool house with easy access to the wonderful lawn. It is hard to describe how great this worked out for my two daughters, their husbands and three young kids and us "senior" members of the group. All the units were immaculate. And, while completely satisfactorily furnished, they weren't fancy enough so that we had to worry about normal wear and tear from the kids. Everything we needed and wanted was provided. A welcome surprise was the closet on the lanai, which was full of toys and buckets and other fun swim things for the littles. I gave management 5 stars, but we never saw them as the checkin process was easy and we had no issues to ask them to resolve. We did become friendly with the many staff who were out raking the lawns and patrolling the grounds. They were all very pleasant. Maui is taking Covid seriously and we only went indoors for necessary shopping. Everyone was masked and I saw several people wearing shirts that said, "Mask up for Maui County," a sentiment we heartedly agreed with.The only update I'd suggest would be to strip the tennis courts for Pickleball. We played in the absence of striping - just for fun - and while there, several others came hoping for a Pickleball game. It would require hardly any investment with a big benefit. We will be back.

2nd time at the location but in a different room. Location is perfect, right across from Kam III and walking distance to shops in restaurants. Room 342 was great. Everything you need from beach chairs, laundry, air conditioned bedrooms and a full kitchen. Only issue is there was workers in our room putting in a new water heater and connecting to the solar panels. The workers were great, however, we should have been informed of this work prior to arriving. The renters should not have to absorb the 2 full days of inconvenience without prior notification. We could have changed some plans to limit the impact.

I absolutely loved the place. It was clean, fully functional, I mean they thought of everything. We could not have been more comfortable. Words just can’t describe how good we felt staying here. We will be coming back, don’t know when but definitely coming back.
