We had a very relaxing time at Hale Kamaole in Kihei. Unit 206 is nicely renovated with attractive and comfortable furniture, and modern appliances. The beach gear in the closet was appreciated. The unit was clean and tidy for our arrival, and the office staff were helpful with a couple of requests we had. Our restaurant finds this trip were Fred’s Mexican for Taco Tuesday...go early, 4:00. And we liked Nalu’s for dinner. Our favourite activity was doing the seashore walk south through the bird sanctuary and on to the beaches and walkways in Wailea.

Beautiful condo, great location, everything you would need inside the condo from beach necessities to condiments in the kitchen! The only downside of our stay was the road construction on south Kihei road and the fact that our entrance to Hale Kamaole was blocked off because of some work being done to the water pipes. This made it pretty difficult to enter and leave the condos by car and walking. Other than that, we had a fantastic time and will be returning again!

The location, condition and furnishings of the condo was great. Loved the large refrigerator with ice maker. The air conditioning made the stay comfortable. The major problem we had was listening to 3 dogs below yapping in the unit below in the late evening and very early morning. The gal also smoked outside in a non-smoking area,

I loved the Condo and it's proximity to the beach. My only negative comment was that it was too close to road traffic. Also, they wouldn't replenish the soap bar in the bathroom, which seemed pretty chintzy to me for the price

Everything went smoothly. This was a return visit. Good facilities. We love the location for snorkelling at Kamaole III and it’s an easy walk to restaurants or short drive to other great beaches.

Hale Kamaole is a special place to connect with loved ones, relax, catch a tab and swim in the ocean. Everything you need to enjoy a quintessential Hawaiian vacation is walking distance or 5-8mins by car. The condos are lovely some more updated than others and I always suggest renting your own beach chairs and umbrellas as I’m yet to stay in a condo with not broken or really worn out items. Lovely place can’t recommend it enough!

Unit 206 was mostly as presented. Very clean, nicely updated and well equipped including a modern kitchen. Although a middle unit, we did not hear the neighboring units much at all. Nice view from the lanai but you are near the busy street, but you do get used to it. The only problem was that there was no internet or TV during our stay due to a contract change with the service provider. The ball was dropped on the change over and neither the property manager or unit owner bothered to do anything about it after several requests - a lot of buck passing and no one willing to take responsibility. But assuming this gets fixed, it would be a good complex and unit place to stay in and so nice to be right across the street from Kam3 beach. Cool vibe in the park at sunset too. Great location.

With two available pools a mixed age range from toddlers to elderly folks to the kind security wishing everyone to enjoy a beautiful sunset at the huge park on the beach across the street this place is truly amazing.
If you’d prefer to instead watch the sunset from your balcony, every condo balcony is positioned to the coast.

We really enjoyed our condo at Hale Kamaole. The kitchen was fully stocked and so was the storage area off our lanai. Gear in the storage area included: beach chairs, snorkel equipment, sand toys, and many other items. Our children reported that the person who checks the pool in the evening takes pictures of them and needs to send 10 pictures to his boss 10 times in a 60 minute time frame to prove that the pool was checked. This made our children uncomfortable and we asked the person who checks the pool (Lance) to no longer take pictures of our children. Is it really necessary to take pictures of children?

I stayed at this location for 3 weeks while working in Kula and Haiku. It was a breath of fresh air to come back to such a nice place after work each day. Very close to the beach and great restaurants just a short walk away.

A very nice condo with easy access to S Kihei Road. The condo was well equipped and beautifully decorated. The only negative for my wife with bad knees was the 2nd floor location and lack of a functioning elevator.

This condo was perfect. Beautiful views! Very close to Saline pools. Very walkable to beach across the street that was a fantastic swimming beach filled with turtles! 2 weeks was just not long enough! We'll be back to #206 very soon! We will return! Aloha!

We had a wonderful time staying in 206. The condo was lovely. It was amazing to have A/C in both the bedroom and the living area. The only negative thing was that there was only one bath towel and one beach towel each for my husband and myself so we had to do the laundry more that we wanted.

We have been coming to HK for 30 years or more (not every year). Unit 206 was the most comfortable unit we have had. It is updated, fully air conditioned, serene and lovely inside. Only gripes were patio furniture only sat two and kitchen counter had no stools.

Amazing location. From the patio, you can see the ocean on the right, and gardens and the pool on the left and straight down from the patio is "the office". I enjoyed having this amazing view every morning with my breakfast and coffee. The Kamaole beach is just a short walk away.The condo was clean, artfully decorated with Hawaii-themed art, kitchen had everything you needed to make meals. There were salt, pepper, cinnamon, other spices, canola oil and some coffee left in the cupboards but not much else though.I would definitely stay here again. 4.5+ stars!The only minor con's were:-no beach equipment at all - not even chairs!-screen door to patio was very squeaky and had holes that would let insects in - had to promptly close the door at night-big dresser drawers - some of them were hard to open-some of the big towels smelled a little moldy when wet-some of the kitchen utensils needed cleaning before use-there were only like 5 dishwasher pods given for 10-day stay - I ended up handwashing dishes most of the time-maintenance/cleaning probably never look in the bathroom mirror cabinet - should be cleaned out!These are all very minor things; I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or family.Activities/food: -Cinnamon roll place (walking distance)!!!-Maui thai fusion place right by Safeway for great pad thai-Foodland poke bowls-Forks and Salad for good-value salads-Surf lesson from Surf Shack by cove beach-Scuba diving off of Makena landing and Mala pier in Lahaina (amazing!); we rented gear from Scuba Shack nearby and Maui diving in Lahaina-Makena Big and Little beaches
