Rick’s place was cozy with all that we needed as a home base on Kaua’i. Great location in Princeville, with very good restaurants within reasonable driving distances. Rick even took my call at stupid early in the morning when I locked myself out of the unit and needed help finding the spare key! Sorry again, Rick!

Great location, very clean and organized place, it is obvious Rick has been doing this for years. Reserved parking spot which is not always included in condo type rentals. All the essentials are there to prepare food which helps with spending more time doing activities and saving money. We loved the place and would love to come back some time in the future.

Lots of fans, which i know would be helpful in hot times. I was there in Nov and it rained a lot. There are beaches both north & south so very easy to access. Easy check in process:) the hosts took pride in this space. Loved the beach themes:)

We stayed at Rick's property for 3 nights and it was perfect. He has supplied the unit with everything you might need on a short getaway.
He was quick to respond if I had any questions. It was in a good location for our purposes and I would not hesitate to book this unit again when I come back to visit the north side of the island.

We travel a lot and this was our favorite accommodation, remarkably inexpensive for what it offers. From the beginning of the booking process to checking out the host, Rick, was kind, receptive, respectful, and prompt.
The unit was furnished and decorated tastefully with local themes and had the personal touch. With the positioning of the windows and patio screen door, and multiple fans (we only used one), the inside was always cool and fresh. The back patio looked onto a wondrous green garden with a walk through it, and sunrise appears through the trees. No noise from the neighbours nor the condo complex.
Everything was thought of and included in equipment and supplies. The kitchen had complete eating sets and extras such as Tupperware and many condiments. There were two different types of cofeemakers, a large fridge, a toaster, a tea kettle, a pristine large electric skillet/pot, and a toaster oven/air fryer which made this a full kitchen except for a range/oven (not needed) which would have added a $100/day to the price. A clean easy-to-use barbecue at the pool area added to the cooking experience. We appreciated many contact numbers in case we had questions or difficulties. It is in the best location for things to do on Kauai and beach equipment is included. Princeville is a great place.
Rick clearly cares for the satisfaction of his guests. I have no doubt being a host is a passion for him, not just a business. I cannot recommend the unit, and Rick, enough.

The layout of the studio was well planned, and I enjoyed the deck and the very functional kitchenette area.. I also enjoyed being on the upper end of Princeville, where it was an easy walk to the Princeville center with the shops and restaurants.

Cute, quaint spot in Princeville. Love the quiet location and the walking path behind to the beach. It’s a real butt kicker hill, but so worth it!

This was a great place to stay on our trip to Kauai. Beautiful area to stay in. The location was great for our travel plans, as we spent most of the time exploring the North shore. It is very close to the Princeville shopping center and a short drive to Hanalei. It also wasn’t too far from the South shore, where we made a couple day trips. The beach chairs and umbrella were a really nice touch and came in handy for our beach days. I didn’t realize that this place did not have air conditioning until we arrived, but we didn’t really need it. There were several fans that were helpful and the windows could be cracked open for air flow, along with a screen door to the back porch. Check-in and check-out was easy as well. We hope to visit Kauai again someday and would definitely consider staying here again.

Place was nice and clean. Quiet for the most part (upstairs neighbors were a bit heavy footed). Everything was provided that was needed for a comfortable stay - only thing I would suggest would be a single hot plate for cooking. I would recommend for a single person or a couple.

Super close to walking path, small beaches, and food options. Condo was stocked with all the kitchen amenities to cook and prepare meals and pack lunches for the beach. In addition, beach necessities such as cooler and chairs were an awesome addition and I used them everyday. Bed was amazingly conformable after a long day surfing and strolling the beach. All in all, super experience and would be delighted to stay in Rick's place again.

It's a great budget option for the north shore, located 10 mins to Hanalei and with close access to some great beaches right in the neighborhood. Aging golf condos, the course was fenced off so the lanai view is actually more private. Appreciated snorkel gear provided. You'll want to make use of all the fans (many are provided) to deal with humidity and airflow. Bed is comfy. Host provides lots of bathroom items including first aid and a great hairdryer. Many coffee makers but no coffee is provided. This was a good base, easy to get to, and it was always easy to park.

It's nice and close to the Na Pali Coast for hiking, Tunnels for snorkeling, and Hanalei for eating and shopping. Loved it.

Our stay in the condo was fabulous! The owner is Aloha in action—he provided everything we needed, and responded immediately to our emails. The condo was exceptionally clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the towels were very nice. The pool was just the right temperature and the gas BBQ came in handy. The path to beautiful, quiet Anini beach was just steps away from the back lanai. The shops and restaurants were also within walking distance. We definitely recommend choosing this condo!

We had a wonderful time staying at Rick's place. I actually think the condo looks nicer and seems larger in person than what the pictures show! Rick, the owner, is very kind and helpful and provided a ton of amenities that we didn't anticipate including beach towels and chairs, snorkeling gear, and spices and coffee in the kitchenette. Rick also left a very thorough and informative guide book for us that was helpful in planning activities. The place was very clean and the kitchenette was perfect for making simple meals. I would certainly stay here again if we were to return to Kauai.
