We love staying at Kuleana and have stayed at this property multiple times. It feels so private, tranquil, and friendly compared to some of the other larger resorts. This was our first time on vacation with our 8-month-old infant and this unit exceeded our expectations! It has a fantastic direct oceanfront view and the largest one-bedroom we’ve stayed in with plenty of room for the pack n play in the bedroom. Miranda was the best host, so quick to respond and accommodating. I would stay here on any trip to Maui in a heartbeat.

Really had a great time! The property is tucked back and away from the beaten path! It felt like its own little piece of the island. Communication was great during the questions about the area reopening after such a terrible loss due to fires. That being said, this property was physically unaffected. We will be back on our next trip to West Maui!!

We loved our stay! Each morning we loved the glorious views from the back deck of the ocean, Molokai and Lanai. The property manager was very good at communication. The condo was advertised with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped for all the cooking we did. We also enjoyed the wonderful pool, ping pong and shuffleboard. We saw many turtles in the water while on our deck and from the beach in front of the condo. We would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful views, whale-watching and sea turtles daily from the large balcony. Unit is spacious and well-supplied. We felt that all of our needs had been anticipated. The location is really spectacular, privacy good, grounds and gardens lovely and pool well-maintained. The bbq's are clean and work well. The unit can use some upgrades but nothing that bothered us. Bonus to have in-unit laundry. The best was the abundance of whales which can be easily seen through binoculars, sea turtle visits on the rocky shore, beautiful sunsets and occasional rainbows. Lahaina is convenient for shopping and dining. NOTE: there is almost no sandy beach here, it is rocky. But there are beautiful beaches very close by. Recommend this unit!

The location of this unit is superb! Second floor at the end of the resort gave privacy and easy views of turtles and whales. The unit was very nicely decorated. There were wooden slat blinds that allowed for breezes to flow through if opened. Location was away from busy resorts but close enough for dinner and shopping. Other than a one hour delay in checking in, everything was perfect.

The view was awesome. The condo was comfortable but could use some updated flooring. Maybe another set of beach towels. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay although it rained quite a bit.

I might stay in the complex again because it's ocean front, but would never stay in this unit again. Great location/view, older condo complex could use updating but on the whole well kept, good pool, saw turtles at rocky beach right in front. The condo is desperately in need of total renovation... cracked & missing tile in bathrm, dirty rug in LR, mismatched cheap silverware, chipped dishes, etc. Fortunately, the bed was pretty comfortable and linens were clean tho the whole place needs a good scrubbing.

We didn't know what to expect because some online listings can be deceiving, but we were thrilled with the property! It had everything we needed! We had a beautiful ocean view from the lanai. We ate our meals out there, and watched the gorgeous sunset every night. The grounds of the condo were beautiful and immaculate, too. We could snorkel and there was also a sandy beach. We enjoyed seeing the sea turtles everyday. The condo was very clean, very attractive, and updated. Management was always accessible if we had questions.

This large one bedroom was perfect for us. Plenty of space to put all of our things. The best part is the view. Right at the ocean, no building blocking our view. Miranda was easy to communicate with and all our needs were met. We would definitely stay here again!!!
The Kuleana property is very clean and quiet. The pool is always immaculate as well as the BBQ’s. This is our second visit to the property and the snorkeling is amazing. There are so many turtles!!!! The beach area is perfect too. This place is a hidden treasure!

This large, comfortable one bedroom condo has a Lanaii with a lovely, close view of the ocean. The first week, it was quiet as well as lovely. The second week, upstairs neighbors dragged some things (chairs perhaps?) around frequently, so it was not as quiet. The sound of the surf was a joy, as were the well manicured grounds. Overall, this was a lovely and comfortable place to stay.

The best part of the condo is the oceanfront views where we saw a TON of whales. It's perfect for watching sunset and includes important accessories like a large cooler, beach chairs, towels, and beach umbrella. I would definitely recommend this location to a friend.

Really enjoyed the lanai with awesome ocean view. Great spot for whale watching and enjoying meals. Miranda was wonderful to work with. She even called while we were there just to make sure everything was OK. The unit was very clean upon check-in. Nice touch to have a selection of treats waiting for us when we arrived. The condo is basic but has all the amenities to make us comfortable. Well stocked kitchen made meal prep easy. Nice to have a washer and dyer in the condo. Comfortable bed in the master bedroom. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying here again.

Such a great unit! Seems recently upgraded with new carpeting and decor. You can't beat the view from this unit! It's exactly what you want when visiting Maui. Loved having the in-unit washer/dryer - so convenient. The pool is large and in a beautiful setting. The property itself is so pretty! We were there the first weekend in September and there was a great cross breeze so it was not necessary to have air conditioning but it was nice to have in the bedroom at night. Overall a perfect place for a Maui vacation!

This was not a perfect stay. There were a few minor issues and one pretty major issue with the property. The good part….Miranda was very responsive to resolving these problems. She answered quickly and the work necessary to fix the problems was done in short order. We also managed to come to a satisfactory agreement for the inconveniences without having to argue or really even ask. Thank you Miranda for your professional approach to all of this. Now the really good part. This condo is not luxury but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. What is luxury is the view from the lanai. I think we could have been happy with this trip to Maui if all we could do was watch the ocean from there! The property is quiet and private. The snorkeling was fun and our daughter loved paddle boarding every day. As a bonus, turtles, turtles, and more turtles! From the pool to the grounds to the rental manager to the beach this was overall an incredible experience and i would definitely love to visit Kuleana again!

The condo is a nice size with a roomy bedroom. We were disappointed on arrival to find that the air conditioning advertised was only a window unit in the bedroom, but it did work exceptionally well, so we at least slept in comfort. The unit is aging and in desperate need of carpet replacement, but the rest of the unit was clean. We had issues with the screen door and kitchen faucet, but once reported, they were remedied within 24 hours. The location was stellar, and we enjoyed incredible sunsets from the deck nightly! Pool is well kept and close to the unit.
