Beds were comfortable. Lots of towels. Kitchen is small but versatile. Patio was nice. We didn’t use the tv because Hawaii. Internet was slow (DSL) but it worked. Again, didn’t really use it.
Beach across the street is nice during sunset. Plenty of beach supplies.

Like many other renters we were very happy with Kathy's place. Had everything that we needed for cooking and other amenities. The back area was great for sitting out and enjoying the weather. The beach was just a couple minute walk. Will book again if going back to Maui. Perfect starting point for the whole island. If you are still pondering on not going to Maui because if Lahaina, Do go, they are very welcoming and kept telling us they are glad that we didn't cancel our trip. Just be respectful of Lahaina. We did not travel the road that direction out of respect to the people but you can take the bypass road.

The place is at the great central location of the island. We were able to do daily trips all over Maui and it would take us no time at all to get to all locations. The apartment is spacious, clean, and it has everything you might need. It's on the ground floor so easy for suitcases. The kitchen is well equipped, they have beach chairs, games, books... Beds are comfortable. Check in and out was extremely easy. We had a great experience.

It’s literally across the street from the beach! The patio gate goes right out to the pool so it feels like it’s you’re own pool. They need to update the pool furniture, replace the countertop in the kitchen as it has a little crater in the middle of it, and they need to fix the flooring near the hallway. My husband got a splinter in his foot. We enjoyed the patio and barbecue in the backyard.

We had a great stay! Great location. Quiet area. We recommend updating the property pictures though. The pictures online make it look like a cute little grandma cottage (which there is nothing wrong with that we just thought it looked nicer in person) but it was pretty modern with cute ocean themed decor! Would totally stay there again.

Had a great phone conversation with the Property management. She was very friendly, very information and answered all of my questions about Kihei. Perfectly located to restaurants (one next door, the rest within a very short drive), and right across from a quiet beach. The condo had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Maui. I can fully recommend this property. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The pool was right off our patio through a locked gate. The best part- the beach is only a block away! While we couldn't see it from the property, if you are an early morning riser like I am, you can hear the waves while enjoying your morning coffee on the patio. We enjoyed our time here.

We really appreciated the property and the neighbors were fantastic.!! Would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a stay in Maui. This condo is literally right next to the beach, 2min walk. The host had EVERYTHING.... from spices, laundry pods, beach towels and gear, and much more!!! We will definitely be back for another trip and will choose this host when booking our stay!! We had a great great time here. The condo is in a great location in Kihei but not right on the busy street so there is no street noise at night. Everything we needed was in there, including everything we needed to cook and even tide pods to do laundry! Highly recommend this place!

Comfortable unit, well-equipped kitchen, family friendly. Not new, but recently remodeled. They provided lots of towels, beach equipment. Good location, relatively quiet, a block away from main road & traffic. Beach just across the road. Other guests enjoyed the pool, but we were out at the beaches so didn't try the pool. Mini-blinds are dated and temperamental, pocket door to master bath doesn't close, one burner on stove doesn't work. In-unit washer & dryer very convenient. Overall its a good value, since we were out most of the time but our possessions were secure. Management helped us with other needs, as well, including car rental and excellent concierge service.

The condo isn’t fancy but has all of the items you’d need for your stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with items for cooking and dining and even had spices. Regular coffee pot worked great. Small washer/dryer in unit.
The bathroom door on the master bath doesn’t close, but this wasn’t an issue for us. I’d definitely stay here again.

Right when we got there, we noticed we only received one key (which I thought was odd since there’s usually two) and when we actually walked inside we noticed an old moldy smell. The overall place looked clean until we started seeing baby roaches on our bed and restrooms. We would wash our sheets every night to make sure the baby roaches weren’t on it. For master restroom, the sliding door does not work so definitely no privacy whatsoever. The next day we noticed the two (out of 4) stove does not work and there were big roaches in the drawers so we would wash our plates and utensils before every use. The couch was uncomfortable and very stiff but at least we had a TV to watch while eating dinner and the pool was right behind the condo. Overall, I was quite disappointed and disgusted at how the entire place was infested with roaches.

This was a great home base for a stay in Kihei. There is no AC in the guest room so be sure to have the fans running and the door open during the daytime while you are out and about.
The beach is essentially right across the street and you will see great sunsets every night. I saw reviews saying the street you have to cross was sketchy but we didn't feel that way at all. Either wait for your moment to cross or walk 50ft. to the crosswalk and cars will stop for you.
I also saw reviews about bug problems. We didn't have any issues with them in October, 2021.
The property manager was super responsive and dealt with our only issue within hours.
The only downside of this place is it's a little far from the East side because you have to head north first because there are no roads heading straight East. That can add some time to certain activities like Mt. Haleakala and the road to Hana. It was worth it for the wonderful home base, though.
I would absolutely recommend this property. If you decide to stay here, make sure the first thing you eat is Poke from Foodland Kihei (it's a grocery store). It's wonderfully delicious, affordable, and would have changed our trip, food-wise.

1 - No AC in smaller room. It gets really hot in the night.
2 - Insects and bugs are present. We kept the garden door closed all the time yet insects were present.
3 - There are termites in the wardrobe of larger room.
4 - The bathroom door doesn’t close for the master bedroom.
Pros:
1 - Great location. Beach across the street.
2 - Pictures same as the place and sufficient for family of 4.
3 - Apt was clean, enough towels and utensils. They had beach chairs that was a good thing.
