What to say that hasn't been covered by previous reviewers? This place was fantastic!
Accomodations:
There were two of us on this trip, and we slept amazingly in the King sized bed; with the sound of the ocean in the background. The condo has all of the things we needed to be able to cook when we wanted, or just to have coffee in the morning before we went out to explore.
Location:
The location is perfect for those who don't want to stay with the masses in/near a resort. There is a small shopping center, and a couple of restaurants to wander to within walking distance, but I would recommend a car to see other parts of the island as well.
View:
The view from the lanai was amazing! We got to see the sunrise each day, as well as a few turtles and even an mother humpback and her calf in the bay. It is truly a postcard-worthy view.
Host:
Steve was a great point of contact for any and all questions about the property and surrounding areas. He really cares about your experience in his condo and his care and availability for questions was just the cherry on top of this sundae.
This place is HIGHLY recommended and we would absolutely stay there in the future.

What can I say, this property is a gem. Centrally located in Maui at Maalaea harbor from where you can travel to east,west and south Maui very conveniently. In the morning you can witness beautiful sunrise at Haleakala from Lanai and watch sea turtles from the lawn. From the Maalaea harbor you can go to excursions like snorkeling, whale watching and sunset cruise.
Host Steve is very responsive , shares all details in advance and always available for any questions about Maui😊
We loved our stay and it’s become our dream vacation memories. We will definitely visit again and recommend to our friends.

What can I say, this property is a gem. Centrally located in Maui at Maalaea harbor from where you can travel to east,west and south Maui very conveniently. In the morning you can witness beautiful sunrise at Haleakala from Lanai and watch sea turtles from the lawn. From the Maalaea harbor you can go to excursions like snorkeling, whale watching and sunset cruise.

This property was perfect for my son and I's dive trip to Maui. Property is located in the center of the island so it was easy to get to dive sites on either end of the island. Plus there are two coffee shops and several restaurants within walking distance of the unit. Aquarium is also within walking distance which let us avoid paying for parking.
Unit was clean and even tho the building was an older building, everything was safe and comfortable. Great view too! I would easily stay here again.

I must say your condo has been the cornerstone of our entire stay.
Regardless of the tours we took or places we visited and people we have met; waking up each morning and enjoying a cup of coffee out on the lanai seeing the sunrise over Haleakala is what we will miss the most!

Well-stocked with spices, quality cookware and appliances. Quality bedding. The only thing I had to purchase aside from food was cooking oil. Umbrella, boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, binoculars,cozy lanai, spectacular view. This part of the island is very very windy. With both doors open and the trade winds blowing through, I did not need AC at all. My only disappointment is that I left my makeup case with essential oils behind and was hoping to retrieve it. The cleaning service (also the on island contact) said that they throw out anything left behind that is open. There were many half used products in the bathroom and kitchen that I was happy to have access to such as finger nail polish remover and spices. This was a bit of a loss for me. i would definitely stay here again. Thanks Steven.

This is probably the best equipped condo I've rented. You basically just need food, clothes and snorkels. The only negative is that the bedroom is warm since the A/C is in the living room and it doesn't reach the back. We left the bedroom and patio windows open at night and by midnight it was cool enough to sleep. The condo and grounds are clean with beautiful grass by the sea wall. The ocean photos don't do it justice, as mornings on the patio were spectacular. Recommended more for couples, as there's not much for kids aside from the pool.
Food is really expensive. Costco is a good option, and produce at Kihei farmer's market was better than Safeway.
You absolutely need a car.
Use Kihei Renta car. It's half the price of the airport and they shuttle you. Nice people too.
Beware that drivers on Maui are very slow and all white minivans are likely driven by lost tourists that stop randomly for no reason.
Definitely drive to northwest Maui and hike down to the Olivine Pools, Dragon's Point, and Nakalele Blowhole. Pack extra water.
Great snorkeling, but the reefs are not colorful. We saw countless turtles and many colorful fish, octopus, urchins, and crabs.
Fully charge your phone and take a portable charger as signals can be sketchy.
Lava Rock and Three's Bar have good happy hours from 3-6 daily. Kihei has a good vibe.
Go to Kaanapali Beach to jump off Black Rock. It's a pretty beach, but it's crowded and Lahaina feels like Florida.

This condo was perfect for our 9 day stay! It had necessary items but more impressive was the ability to watch whales and turtles right off the balcony (lanai) all day and evening! We loved the location and could easily go to any part of the island for our activities.
We also struggled when we first got there and ended up locking ourselves out of the condo and Steve helped us immediately and we were good to go for the rest of our stay! I would HIGHLY recommend this condo!

The lanai had a great view of the ocean. We could see sea turtles from our lanai. The location is on a quiet, dead end street very close to the harbor. We took a snorkeling cruise and could have walked there in about 10-15 minutes. The property is very nice and well kept. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. There is no beach but a rock wall where you can watch the ocean. We had a view of Haleakala from our lanai. One morning it was so clear, you could see the observatories on top of the volcano. It was a bit of a drive to most tourist areas but was very easy to get around with our rental car. The only thing I noticed about the unit was there were some small bugs in the kitchen area. We were able to kill them and didn't see any much after the first day. I would recommend this rental. It is comfortable and had enough room for our family of four.

Communication with the owner (Steve) was really easy. He responded quickly and handled the issue or two that cropped up.
The only downside is that we experienced more than a few cockroaches in the kitchen through our visit. That being said, roaches are super common and difficult to get away from on the island. Additionally, Steve was super responsive when we pointed it out, and even had an exterminator out for an extra visit the same day, which greatly improved matters.
Overall, a well hosted & appointed place in a great location with an almost unbeatable view.

We stayed at this wonderful property from June 9 - June 12, 2022. The view was magnificent. The hosts have thought of everything in this immaculate condo. We loved the lanai and the view it offered--even better that the description. After staying at two other properties earlier in our trip, we appreciated this condo and it's conveniences very much! The kitchen is fully equipped and well organized. Parking was easy and the location of the condo is close to the airport. We would love to come back and stay again.

Beautiful view from beachfront and lanai.
Short walk to harbor for fishing and water activities. Good seafood restaurant ivy harbor. Area is quite quiet compared to Kaanapali and Kihei. Limited restaurant choices. Need a car, Unit is well supplied with kitchen utensils, Washer and drier in unit. A/C unit located by lanai so bedroom tends to be a bit warmer. Overall good experience.

This is the first time we’ve been on vacation and felt like we were at home with all the amenities provided. You can watch the whales without leaving the condo. The pictures do justice, but there is so much more to enjoy this property. It was just the two of us so it was absolutely perfect but if you shared with kids it would be just as fun.
The owner of this “home” was helpful through out the process and was attentive to all our questions. Few questions about the residence but many questions about the area. There is a magazine by the “book loan” on your way to the pool (100 things to do in Maui) recommend reading. This sounds cliche but definitely would return to this very spot. Thank you for your gracious hospitality Steve and family.

The condo was EXACTLY what I needed for this first time visit to Maui. Previous guests left comment books detailing restaurants and night life that helped me plan my day. The location of the condo was super close to the airport, so I didn't have to wake up extra early my last day and rush.
The condo was super cool - I did not even need to turn on the a/c. The ceiling fans kept the unit at a very pleasant temperature.
I absolutely loved the balcony and the view of the ocean and the shoreline! The condo overlooks the pool and is literally steps away from the shoreline. The market is within walking distance and was good for last minute items.
The condo had EVERYTHING - pots, pans, glasses, plates, etc. I brought food and left canned goods for the next person!!
I hope to visit again - soon - and will definitely try and reserve the same property!
Steven made this very easy, kept me informed, and provided a list of items that I may want to bring. Having pool toys, and beach towels was a definite plus.

Clean beautiful condo with excellent view for Whale Watching off the Lanai. The condo had everything you could want and need. The owner communicated with me checking to see if everything was going well or if I had any questions or concerns! I will definitely re book this condo - come to find out - we stayed in this Condo when I got married in 2014!

This was a clean , comfortable condo ,- stocked with everything you might need . Parking included grounds were well kept , pool was kinda small but very clean - well kept . Owner responded promptly to me . View was beautiful - watched sun rise every morning over Haleakalā with direct ocean view - sound of waves coming in , lovely place

Aside from a couch and master bed mattress that needs replacing we liked the condo and space. Very few food restaurants close by, but when we ate in last night and went to do dishes my wife was horrified by the dishwasher having cockroaches inside. Needless to say she didn’t have a restful final night. We will go back to hotels.

This is a PERFECT getaway, the unit has everything in it, very cozy! The view from the balcony is spectacular overlooking Maalaea Bay with the pool directly in front of you. The ocean breeze is wonderful with palm trees swaying and there's a peacefulness here that you notice right away. You can walk on the lush green grass barefooted on the manicured grounds right next to the ocean filled with so many turtles! We enjoyed coffee every morning on the balcony watching the sunrise over Haleakala! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would do it again! We left feeling so refreshed and blessed and the owner was a pleasure to work with! Mahalo!

We come to Hawaii yearly and this was the absolute best!!The sunrise over Haleakala is spectacular right from your private lanai. Our location was perfect for travel and quiet if you’re here to relax and enjoy nature. This condo is equipped with everything you might need while visiting Maui, including a large ice chest for your first shopping trip. Our hosts provided a comfortable home away from home. Thank you Steve and Emily for a most enjoyable vacation getaway.

Beautiful location and scenery to absorb in the mornings on our vacation. The place is beautiful and perfect my my little ohana and I. The a/c wasn’t working while we were there, but thankfully it was a bit windy the days we were there so it cooled down the rooms a lot. Definitely will be looking to rent again in the near future!

We really enjoyed Steven's place, and he was so helpful and communicative throughout the whole process. The condo was stocked with beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, utensils for cooking, coolers- everything you could need. The location was fun because we were 15 minutes from Lahaina, 15 from Kihei, 20 from Kaanapali, and 20 from Wailea. A perfect home base if you're tackling all areas of the island. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the resorts which is refreshing, and there's a beautiful secluded beach walk right out front. We absolutely loved having coffee on our patio in the morning, walking over to the general store for some simple breakfast, and beach bums for happy hour. The ocean center across the street is great too, a beautiful 3d show of humpback whales. All around just such a fun trip and great location, thanks so much for everything!

This rental was top notch! Fully loaded, on the beach, away from all the tourists. Only one real drawback is there is no AC in bedroom. It gets very hot and sticky, but you can open the window and enjoy the tradewinds

This property was perfect for our needs. It was clean and comfortable and had beautiful views. You can walk to some restaurants and we were centrally located to easily drive to the other parts of the island.
