This property was excellent for our family of 10 ranging from age 10 to 72. The condo is organized well and the partial ocean view was amazing all day! Daljit and Pam were excellent communicators and any issue we had they responded to immediately and appropriately. The AC worked well, the condo has everything you need to go to the beach, cook, or bbq. Papakea’s grounds were immaculate and the pool was so warm and enjoyable! Thanks for letting us enjoy your space!

We had a great time in Maui! We were originally nervous to go because of the fires, but Daljit and Pam had great communication with us. The condo was close to lots of restaurants we could walk to, and the beach was a short drive, but in the evenings it was nice to just sit by the sea wall and watch the sunset. They have lots of beach gear that was available to use. The condo has ac units which was nice for when we were in the unit, but at night the fans and the breeze were just fine! We had 7 adults in our party- we had plenty of room, the only thing I would recommend is to spread your showers out so you have enough warm water for everyone. The washer and drier were very helpful, and it was nice to have a “cash wash” area to clean our cars and to rinse off our sandy items so we didn’t bring it into the condo. Overall, great stay!

One of my biggest concerns with renting is always the cleanliness of where I will be staying. This condo was absolutely spotless! We had our family of 8, which includes our 4 adult children, our pregnant daughter-in-law, and our daughter's fiancée with us. Everyone had a very comfortable bed to sleep in and there was plenty of room for all of us, even the nights that we had dinner in the condo. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything that we needed, including spices. The resort has multiple gas bbqs that are available to use, with tables to eat at near the pool. The condo was also very stocked with beach supplies (beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, ice chests, swim rings, masks/snorkels, and more), as well as putters and golf balls to use on the putting green at the resort. The ac worked great! The host quickly responded anytime I had a question. The check-in process was very easy. We all had a wonderful experience staying in this condo, and we would love to go back and stay there again!

We had an amazing time. We lived the property it was nicer than the pictures online our condo was clean and had everything we needed. It was close enough to the beach so that we could just walk down with chairs and relax and swim. All the teenagers also enjoyed the tennis. Would stay here again made great memories.

We love Maui. And we love Papakea! It is a great location and perfect for teens who like to walk around. Food carts, grocery etc. All in walking distance. I highly recommend.

This condo was absolutely perfect for our family! We had 2 adult couples that used the bedrooms and 3 kids that slept in the upstairs loft. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for making some meals to avoid eating out. There is a dishwasher and washer/dryer which were super convenient. There were plenty of bath and beach towels, some beach chairs and umbrellas, and some snorkel gear (which saved us when our daughter's mask broke). The Lanai has a beautiful view of the koi pond and ocean. The resort grounds are beautiful and well maintained and the location is super close to Lahaina and Whalers Village. A strip mall across the street that is walking distance with with snorkel rental, various restaurants and grocery store. A nearby ABC store. Daljit & Pam are wonderful hosts and very responsive. No complaints, it was great and absolutely perfect for us.

This condo was in an excellent location, close to shopping and beachfront activities. We were looking for a place large enough to accommodate ourselves, along with our grown children and their spouses (and grandchildren). It was perfect! There was a portable crib for the baby, and beach accessories along with sand toys. They really had everything that a family would need.

This condo was the perfect home-base for a family vacation on Maui. The resort is very family-friendly with easy beach access, 2 pools, putting greens, shuffle board, and many great food options within easy walking distance (some of our favorites were The Fish Market, Papi's Ohana, and the food trucks). The unit was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed.

We loved staying here! We had 5 adults and 4 kids, and our teenagers lived the loft! The property was clean and comfortable for a group of our size. The resort is gorgeous and well kept. My family consisting of our two sons, wives and two grandsons, aged 5 and 9 months, had a wonderful vacation at this condo and Pakakea Resort. The condo was well outfitted with everything we could have wanted, including boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. The resort is excellent with pool, real putting green, shuffleboard, tennis and pickleball. We enjoyed everything about our stay! Communications with the owner were prompt and helpful, everything at the property was relaxed and pleasant and our group of four adults had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. The only shortcoming is that the property isn't directly on the beach walk, but we were aware of that when we booked it. Nonetheless we spent many hours enjoy the oceanside lounge chairs, and we enjoyed the sunset every night from the gazebo area. We appreciated the hot tub and the pool, too!

We visited with a total of three adult siblings plus spouses and two kids. The owner, Pamela, was great about answering messages quickly. Very kid friendly place with a good selection of beach toys, snorkels, flippers and boogie boards in the rental. There is a nice courtyard and pool and ocean view with 5 minute walk along the water front to a long stretch of Kahekili Beach. Overall, this was a good deal for extended family.

This loft unit was able to accommodate my family of 5 well. The new owners are lovely people who are quick to respond when there is an issue. It is well equipped with snorkel gear and boogie boards etc. The kitchen is also decently equipped for a rental. Everything is very old - mattresses, pillows, frying pans, furniture (the sofa has stuffing coming out of the pillows). It’s in need of some cash insertion. We stay at the Papakea almost every year and we feel this is a bit overpriced as is, but I’m sure the new owners will be upgrading what needs to be. Things that can’t be changed but are also nice to know ahead are that the master bedroom is right by the elevator so you hear a lot of noise. The view is mostly garden view. The ocean view is just from one corner of the balcony.

The property is very nice and well kept. Only about 45 minutes from the airport and costco/walmart. The owners are wonderful and we had no issues. Their is beach access very close to the resort. A lot of activities to do around all within a 10 minute drive. The owners have some items to use at the beach and their is a good view from the balcony.

The condo was clean and had lots of beds. We slept 7 people comfortably. We really liked the resort. Our family played shuffleboard and used the putting green daily. We also snuck in a couple of pickle ball games. One of our favorite acitivities was sitting on the lounge chairs on the large lawn immediately next to the ocean looking across to Molokai. We read books, napped, and sunned there. The condo had AC, washer/dryer, and a well-stocked kitchen. The wifi worked well too. Check-in and checkout was super simple. I'm sure there are many great options on the island, but this condo is certainly one of them.

My family and I stayed at this Papakea condo for our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was the perfect set up for us! My husband and I had a room, my brother and sister-in-law had the master, and then we had a twelve, fifteen, five and six-year-old upstairs in the loft. The house was clean, well-organized, and the air-conditioning kept the whole place cool.
The property at Papakea is lovely. The grounds are maintained perfectly and the pool area was wonderful! It was particularly perfect for our family because the pool had a very large shallow end that was 3 feet deep. This was perfect for a little guys who needed to touch the bottom to feel safe, and then they could also go to the deep end and jump in when they wanted. The hot tub was very large, and both the pool and hot tub were perfect temperatures. We also enjoyed playing pickle ball, putt putt golf, and shuffle board. We brought some equipment because we thought we needed to, but the resort ended up having everything. There are several stores, restaurants, and food carts within walking distance and we benefited from that daily.
The beach access from this condo has lots of reefs and coral. There is no beach access straight out front, but if you walk just to the right or left of the pool area you can access it. We walked three or four properties to the right and found a playground with a lovely beach area. Snorkeling there we saw lots of fish and we even found a giant sea turtle! It’s also very close to Black Rock and we were able to quickly drive there and spend a couple full days at the more sandy beaches. It was nice to have so many options for where to go.
One of the best parts about this property is the owners. Pam and Daljit were extremely kind and attentive. They responded quickly to anything we asked or needed in a very friendly manner.

This condo was the perfect location for our vacation in Maui! It had amazing ocean views from the 4th floor lanai! It was an easy 5 minute walk next door to enjoy the sand of Kaanapali beach! We loved the central location of the condo as well. It was an easy drive to Lahaina, close to lots of shopping & excursions at Whaler’s Village, and tons of restaurants within a 10-15 minute drive. There is a food truck park & a small grocery store, as well as a handful of other restaurants within walking distance from the condo. Pam was so wonderful to work with & checked in often to make sure everything was perfect for our trip. We’d easily book this property again if we make it back to Maui! The condo is very well equipped. Plenty of kitchen furnishings if you want to cook. The bathrooms were well stocked with lots of linens. It was a great addition to have beach chairs, an umbrella, some sand toys, and snorkeling equipment! We didn’t need to rent any of that which was so helpful. This rental is really top notch!
