Lovely view. Really enjoyed having the putting greens, pickle ball and shuffleboard. Friendly atmosphere. Parking was super easy. Glad we booked a smaller complex that was compact and convenient for everywhere. The people at reception were helpful and friendly. The grounds were cleaned every morning.

The location at Papakea is great considering that it’s on the water and has multiple food options including a grocery store within walking distance. This unit is in a good location within the complex as the patio as a very nice ocean view and is above one of two pool and putting green areas.facing north avoids the afternoon sun on the deck however it is exposed to the trade winds so leaving papers or other light objects leave them subject to blowing off the table.the patio
Is a little tight, however it’s fine for 2 people.
The unit itself was comfortable for us in terms of size. It could really use a deep cleaning and some minor touch ups to fresh it but we would stay here again.
We used the poolside grills twice. There are six fairly new Weber grills at each pool and they are very popular from 5-7. We did see the property staff cleaning them every morning a part of the poolside maintenance. The property is very nice and well kept.
Reservation process was a bit cumbersome as the management company required us to print, sign and email back forms as opposed to online signature but they were pleasant to deal with.

The Ocean View is the star of the show. The condo with a full kitchen and a very comfortable bed was a nice place to relax. We found snorkeling right in the area to be enjoyable and it is easy to venture out to several beaches in the area. The pool, shuffleboard and putting greens are nice options for activities. It was great to see multigenerational groups enjoying time together. The arrangement of the buildings while allowing every unit to have an Ocean View also amplifies the noise of all the activities. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the down side is the noise of lawn machines.

We walked the beach, saw whales and turtles, and enjoyed drinks and music and close-by restaurants. The condo was satisfactory, the bed comfortable, though some aspects could use a bit of updating. The condo was generally very nice, clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony was as depicted. The buildings are a bit dated and attention to detail on things like cleaning built up grime around door knobs was missing. However we were comfortable and liked the location.

Everything was wonderful. The only negative I have is reception not allowing us to have our keys 5 mins prior to 3pm which was frustrating with a busy toddler. It was 255 and she made us sit in the lobby for 5 mins before giving us our keys. By the time we would have gotten everything sorted and to the room it would have been after 3 anyways. The stay itself was lovely. We had everything we needed

Had a great time here. Close to almost anything you'd want. Staff was great and the extra things to do were fun. Only issue were these tiny little ants all over the bathroom and kitchen counters.

We enjoyed our stay. The pictures were accurate and the view from the deck was wonderful. Spent most mornings and evenings on the deck overseeing the ocean and sunset. The location was very nice and was able to walk to food carts and other restaurants. Woul definitelystay again at this resort.

This is our third time to stay at Aston Papakea. We find this waterfront property relaxing, beautifully maintained grounds, is walking distance to groceries, restaurants, and coffee shop.

My husband and I stayed for a week in January and we absolutely loved the unit it has a beautiful view overlooking the pool area ocean and Molokai in the distance. The unit had everything we needed including beach chairs umbrella and boogie boards. There are also clubs for anybody interested in the putting green. The resort is really so beautiful and has everything no need to go any place else to just enjoy and relax.

20 years ago, my wife and I celebrated our honeymoon at Papakea and had an amazing time! Last week we returned to celebrate 20 years of marriage with our teenage daughters along for the ride this time and had as much fun or more this time around! The property is well managed, perfectly maintained, and just what you need for a wonderful vacation. Our unit with updated, and in perfect working condition. You are just a few minutes by car or bus to Whalers Village and about 15 minutes to Lahaina Town. There is a convenience store, grocery store, and several small restaurants within a couple minutes walk. We hope to revisit again soon!
