Myself and 3 girls friends stayed here in Princeville. The property location is in a very nice neighborhood and beautiful views and close beaches. The place itself is clean and spacious, and nicely decorated. There was a slight issue with check in, but I don’t want to spoil the review because the host Jeff was more than accommodating and did everything he should have to fix the situation. Long story short just be careful with the front door as it can lock without you realizing. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone. Close to the pool/hottub and Chris the property manager is very friendly and helpful as well. Kauai was a dream come true and I hope to be back one day!

Jeff was very responsive and easy to work with. The condo was as described and very nice. There were a couple maintenance things but they were not a big deal.
I do wish there were washcloths in the kitchen, and more than 1 in each bathroom, but that was small potatoes.

Beautiful area, loved that you had washer and dryer as well as ice chest and chairs to use at beach. Loved the patio and the beautiful birds that frequented the area. We didn’t know how to operate living room air conditioner.. after several minutes we found the remote on bar behind post .. felt that should have been out on table and easy to see since condo was very hot when we got there. Master bedroom and bath was lovely however 2nd bedroom needs to be updated. Second bedroom beds were uncomfortable and squeaky. 2nd Bedroom air conditioner was loud and turns on and off frequently. The welcome book could be updated.. top page showed discharge instructions.. nothing about instructions for a/c. Sunsets in area were gorgeous

I loved the condo. The pictures on the website do not do the condo justice. It was perfect for our family of four. AC in the living room, master and bedroom was exactly what we needed after a warm day in the sun. The unit was right next to the 8th hole on the Makai golf course, more importantly near the 7th hole which is one of the prettiest holes I have ever seen. FYI, I live in the SF Bay Area and play in Monterey several times a year.

This property exceeded our expectations! Very clean. Convenient location to walk to Pua-Poa and Hidaways Beaches. It was also a very easy drive to some of our other favorite beaches and activities. The newly renovated bathroom was very nice as well as the other updates.

We had a lovely stay here. We spent most of our time in Hanalei Bay, and the condo is very close – a 10 min drive, at most. On the property it was nice to walk to the cliffside and look down on the immense waves crashing into the rocks. We also did a local beach, called Hideaway, I think. It has a short trail down, and we really enjoyed that.
The condo itself is very spacious, and has a large lanai that looks out on the golf course. The lanai is mostly covered, which is great for when the rain comes, which is often but fleeting.
The condo was well surface–cleaned, but in my opinion could use a deep cleaning. Windows, windowsills, grout, corners. The property is older; the exterior stairs to the unit could use a cleaning. For someone who’s not too fussy about that kind of thing, it won’t be noticeable.
Our daughter enjoyed searching for lizards; they were everywhere, so it was quite rewarding!

The hosts, Jeff and Lee, were extremely responsive and caring about every detail of their property. We were happy to have had the pleasure of meeting them in person to tell them how much we enjoyed our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

My family and I just returned from Hawaii and spent our ten days at Emmalani in Princeville. The condo had great amenities including a fully prepped kitchen for cooking, a beautiful view, the pool and spa area and a comfortable feel. We loved the easy to get to waking paths, the secluded beach and the short distance to some great snorkeling spots. The only downside, if you are a first timer to the island like we were, is that most excursions you might decide are at least a 45 minute drive from Princeville but this should not deter you from staying here as the views are amazing and well worth it.

Hard to find anything to improve other than the master bath/shower is pretty dated and some new pillows would be good. Otherwise, this spot was quiet, great neighbors, and just what we were looking for. Great time.

Our family of 4 stayed at this place for a week. and we absolutely loved it. Location was perfectly places on north coast, about 40 mins from the airport and 10 mins to Hanalei. Jeff was very responsive and thoughtful to check in with us prior to arrival and during our stay on making sure we had everything we needed. Parking was easy and condo is 2 mins from the highway. Pool and Spa access is very convenient and located directly across from the building.
We will definitely return to this condo on our next visit.

This property is very large and tastefully decorated. The living room and the master bedroom are particularly spacious. The location is great with many fun beaches nearby. The property is nice, the unit itself is very large, and the pool is close by and very clean and tidy with a couple of BBQs for grilling. The unit doesn't really have a view to speak of; you have to lean over the balcony to see the ocean, but realistically, when we were there it was mostly dark in any case. The lanai is well appointed with a nice table and comfortable chairs. The interior of the unit is nicely furnished as well, but could use a deep cleaning. I washed the floor in the kitchen upon arrival as it clearly hadn't been washed after the last guests. I'm sure anyone visiting Lanai knows this but unless you only intend to golf on that one course, you definitely need a car here. You could walk to a grocery store but it would be a very long walk back with bag;
similar issue for the beach. There were some small things that could be improved upon - only 3 wine glasses in the unit, pillow cases for a regular size pillow when the pillow was a king size pillow, and queen size top sheet on a king size bed (none of which were matched). We were only there for a week so I didn't say anything to Jeffrey, but I'm sure he would have addressed them had I done so.

Jeffrey is a wonderful host! The process of checking in and out was very smooth.
His place is a beautifully appointed condo stocked with everything you need; linens, bath and beach towels, condiments galore, and all the equipment you need for a kitchen. The unit sits on a serene golf course facing the ocean and is not more than 15 minutes from beautiful Hanalei Bay. Foodland is a quick 5 minute drive for groceries.
We really enjoyed coming back to an inviting place after a long day of surfing, touring the island, or a relaxing day at one of the many amazing beaches of Kauai

The VRBO was fantastic! Such an awesome North Shore location. We especially loved walking to Hideaway beach and Queens Bath - terribly muddy but totally worth it to see the sea turtles and swim in the tide pools. The location is so convenient to Hanalei Bay and easy enough to navigate the construction. Surfing lessons at Hanalei Bay were just the right speed. The Kalalau Trail and Hanakapiai Beach and Falls were really cool. The South Shore was only an hour drive and we all enjoyed the catamaran snorkeling tour (Captain Andy's) and the helicopter tour (Jack Harter) was breathtaking… And it was easy enough driving to the other side of the island, we went to Kokee State park and did the Kalepa Ridge Trail yesterday that our helicopter pilot recommended- also totally awesome!!! The place had everything we needed and a well appointed kitchen and beach gear.

I can't believe how amazing this place is! With a price like that, I figured it would have some flaws, some quirks about it....Boy was I wrong about that! This place is immaculate! It's spacious! It's an amazing location! We snorkeled with the sea turtles every morning before most people were even awake. I can't tell you how awesome this place is. We had 5 people so I was a little nervous about the inflatable bed. It was great! My 12 year old slept on the bed 7 nights in a row without one complaint. This unit has A/C! Do you realize how rare it is to find a deal like this with A/C! Book it now! Don't wait! An incredible vacation begins here!

I can't say enough good things about this whole experience! The condo was spacious, gorgeous, comfortable and had more than anything we could have expected. There were plenty of towels, and the use of the beach equipment was put to good use. We cooked several meals in the beautiful kitchen that had about everything you would need. The patio got used every morning for breakfast and for a few dinners as well. The view was amazing, the place was impeccably clean, and Jeff just made everything so easy. We highly recommend spoiling yourself at this place!!
