Dawn's condo was an amazing place to stay while in Maui. It is very close to the beach and the amenities at the resort are great. The place was very clean and well stocked. Would absolutely stay again.

We loved our stay in this condo. The location was great and the unit was very well taken care of and fully stocked with everything we needed for the week. The bed was very comfortable which you don’t always find in rentals, and we couldn’t get enough of the amazing view from the lanai. The resort was well taken care of and had nice amenities like the pool and putting greens. We would definitely stay in this unit again the next time we go to Maui!

The view, access to both ocean and pool, lounge chairs, grocery store and all our favorite shopping and dining places was perfect! The studio is located in the perfect location to do all your activities on Maui. Wether it’s head out to take on the road to Hana, golfing, shopping or fine dining on Front St. Your only 30 minutes away from it all.
The PapKea complex is beautiful and the view of the ocean is spectacular from the land. The studio has everything you need to make or bbq dinner by the pool.

Very clean and nice accommodations. We rented four units, two through the resort and two through VRBO. Parking spaces are tight, but typical for the island resorts. No restaurant on site; however, several were within walking distance, as were beach rentals and a grocery store. Overall, it was a great family destination and we will likely return in the future.

Great rental for two people. The location is in a good area within walking distance to all the necessities. The apartment was clean and well maintained. It was stocked with all the necessities. Lovely resort. Nicely maintained. Pools and hot tub were clean and not very crowded. Our condo had literally everything we needed. Fully stocked kitchen, AC, even snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrella and sun screen lotions. Coffee on the balcony, watching the sunset and spot some whales was heavenly ! Close to shopping and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff; concierge services are excellent. It's a terrific value.

We greatly enjoyed the well equipped facility in a beautiful setting. Communication before and during our stay was excellent and very much appreciated. Any needs or concerns that we had were invited and welcomed. The property is strategically located near a number of beautiful beaches and places to snorkel which we did for the first time and was an amazing experience. For these excursions the beach chairs and umbrella were especially appreciated. Having a reflection log by other guests was also very helpful in providing ideas in what to do and things to see. Overall it was a wonderful time away after dealing with some significant health issues.

Snorkeled Black Rock - it was fabulous. Scuba’d Mala Wharf - exceptionally good! Headed north to the blow horn and Olivine Pools as well - so easy to get to. This location was great. And the unit was the nicest of the (4) total we stayed in between two islands over our 2 week stay. Hope to be back!

Let me begin by saying this: Dawn is the FABULOUS! I’ve never stayed at a property with a manager who was so communicative. From the time of check in, throughout our entire stay she made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. An issue arose during our stay, but it was taken care of immediately and very professionally.
The unit is so wonderful. The resort is amazing. It definitely is intended to feel like a home away from home. You are close to lots of local eats and beaches, and the unit is stocked with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your time. The umbrella, chairs, and cooler were all super nice pluses that are provided. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. We can’t wait to come visit again!

This little suite was a perfect place for my wife and I’s week long escape! Sunset views from the balcony and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Just down the street from a Time’s (grocery store) and a 10 minute drive from Lahaina. Perfect for those wanting to stay local in west Maui and just RELAX!

If you are considering this unit, don’t let someone else book it before you do. After a week in Maui, this resort is truly the best, especially for the price. We reviewed so many places before picking Papakea B303 and the reviews left by others helped us make our decision. We spent the first week of our honeymoon here and the resort itself is so well maintained and clean. The workers are out cleaning every single morning.
The unit is wonderfully located with a great view of both the pool and the ocean. We very much enjoyed being able to sit down by the water and got to see sea turtles swim by every day. It’s a great spot for sunsets too! Everything you need is provided in the unit. Coolers, beach towels, boogie board, snorkel gear, putt putt items, and tennis. The kitchen is stocked with any and everything you’d need to cook or grill out. Having a washer and dryer was great with our going to Kauai for the second part of our honeymoon.
There is a food truck area in the evening from 5-8 that is just a couple minute walk away. The Java Jazz restaurant across the street is a must go to. We had breakfast and the owner was so great. The prices were low and the food was good, but the atmosphere is like a page out of the children's highlight magazine. There are so many random weird things to see, you’ll have fun just finding the most odd thing there.
Dawn was wonderful to communicate with and on our checkout day our flight was delayed by quite some time. Dawn was so kind and was able to delay the cleaning crew so we could have a little later check out.
You won’t be disappointed with this unit, resort or location. If I can offer any advice for your stay in Maui it would be to make all your dinner and activity reservations far in advance or you won’t get in. Fleetwoods on Front St. was cool and we got extremely lucky with getting two seats at the bar, those are hard to come by so make a reservation so you get a table.

The pictures do not do justice to how nice the condo is. The space was clean and more than what we expected. Cute decors. The bed is comfortable. The beach chairs and umbrella is a bonus! The view from the lanai is so beautiful! Pool and ocean view. Close to ABC store, food trucks, grocery store, gas station etc. Easy communication with the host. Dawn was wonderful and helpful. We are frequent Papakea returners and usually stay in the L building. When we decided on a quick return trip for just the two of us, we found this unit on VRBO. It is exactly as described with all the amenities needed for a great stay. The unit has plenty of room and the bed was very comfortable. The The views of the ocean and the whales are great and we enjoyed our meals on the Lanai. We would highly recommend this unit.

Always enjoy staying at Papakea. Great location. The studio was perfect for the two of us. The changes made with putting in a regular bed and new couch just improved it from an already perfect studio that was pictured when we booked it. It was immaculate when we checked in. All the beach gear that was there was a pleasant plus. Dawn was quick to respond to my messages and provided important info for a seamless check-in. I would definitely stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Dawn was so helpful in the planning process and didn't forget a thing in the well stocked condo (even had beach chairs, beach towels, boogie board & umbrella!!!) You name it; she's already thought of it. We felt well taken care of our whole stay! The room was perfect for us: clean/spotless, spacious, new queen sized bed, full kitchen...everything you may need!!! Even the balcony had wonderful high-end furnishings. The lovely new furnishings and coastal décor were a pleasant surprise and an added "welcoming touch".
The highlight of our stay was the amazing view! We watched turtles and whales daily from the resort. The lounge chairs near the shore were a delight for reading our books. We swam with turtles at the beach, snorkeled, boogie boarded. It was AMAZING! Also, just a short drive away at Kahekkili Beach the snorkeling was even more fantastic (free public parking and lovely bathroom facilities, too).
We enjoyed this condo for almost 2 weeks and it wasn't long enough! So many amenities close by made meal planning easy and convenient. The grocery store was within walking distance!
Every day we had fun swimming (beach and pool/hot tub) & snorkeling! We saw an array of different fish and even swam with turtles!!! We will definitely be going back to Dawn & Tom's condo again one day! We can't wait to return to PARADISE!!!!👍

The check-in process at this resort and location was quick and easy. I really enjoyed the studio apartment we had in Maui. It was clean and easily accessible via car to a lot of beautiful areas such as Kaanapali Beach. I definitely felt at peace with the tropical decor and care which the hosts clearly put into the property. There were also many practical items such as towels, beach chairs, kitchen appliances/ seasonings, etc. which made our stay logistically easier (and cheaper). Would be happy to stay again and looking forward to revisiting Maui at some point in the future!
