Although, we only stayed a couple nights this time. It was amazing as usual. Grounds were clean. Room was clean. Neighbors were quiet. Enjoyed waking up and sitting on the lanai. Kauai is magical. So great full for low key /affordable accommodations away from tourists and hotels.

We arrived around 4:00 to check in. We’re new to the VRBO experience so we needed a bit of “help” getting in. I contacted John about access. He had already sent us that info! The unit was exactly as described. The shower/water pressure and temp were perfect for two weary travelers! The king bed was perfect; we slept super soundly. The view from the lanai was wonderful… sleeping to the sound of the wind and waves was devine. Again, we are new to VRBO and required a few back & forths with John & Carol who were wonderfully helpful and accommodating. We would absolutely return and recommend this rental to others! Aloha!!!

This condo is in a great location. Makes getting to see the island and beaches convenient. It’s clean and well stocked, and we really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrellas and swim gear. The decor, fixtures and furnishings are extremely dated and worn. The condo also has electrical issues when trying to use kitchen appliances. The owners were helpful, but some money spent on renovations and updates would make it more enjoyable.

Great property! Easy booking & check in experience. Unit was charming and had all the basics for cooking. Beach chairs, umbrella, and snorkel equipment are provided. Bed was very comfortable, though new pillows might be a good idea. Shower and water pressure were good. The lanai has a beautiful view of the ocean.
The pool is in excellent condition and is surrounded by beautiful tropical plants. If the pool is not your thing, the beach is right across the road!
This was our second time staying at Prince Kuhio, and we will definitely be back!

Everything you need for amenities for cooking as well as for the beach, great location to explore the south of the island and beautiful pool. Great air circulation in the condo if you use both fans and keep both doors open. I’m a light sleeper and found the AC to be noisy, so bring air plugs. Definitely recommend this condo!!

Property is owned by local residents. Condo isn't overly large but taken care of and supplied with Hawaiin books, playing cards with dice, kitchen necessities, beach gear, small ice chest and blender for margaritas to make guests comfortable. Not fancy but comfortable. We would return.

This unit has never been remodeled.they never showed a picture of the bathroom and now I now why. It was a very small tub that your feet stuck to the bottom.also masking tape on the side hiding something.an old green toilet seat with a sign on top to hold it down to flush. Old wooden walls,and clutter everywhere with old out of date books,nubby sheets. The sliding door has electrical tape on the lock ,outside on the patio an old wooden table that need refinishing and stools.you look down at the other patios they have nice Metal high tops tables.No dishwasher. Like the old saying you get what you pay for.

Loved this apartment across from Beach House restaurant and a great snorkel beach. Super close to restaurants, a wonderful grocery store and markets, as well as beautiful hikes, snorkeling and surf spots. This property is a little dated as some mentioned but was very clean and charming and well appointed. Came with snorkel gear, beach equipment, a great pool, a lovely patio, convenient laundry room, and everything we needed. Even a cute front office with dvds and board games- reminded me of vacations growing up! Hosts were very helpful and communicative.

If you’re hanging out in your condo on vacation your doing something wrong. The Prince Kuhio grounds are first class with a great pool area. The studio unit was well equipped with supplies and a great base for exploring the south side of the island with the best snorkel beach just across the street. We’ve stayed here twice because we are always on a budget and can overlook any slight imperfections.

We enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the morning overlooking the Prince Kuhio Park and listening to the sound of the waves drinking our coffee. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the cool breeze in the evenings. It was a great location and within driving distance of beautiful beaches. We came to rest and we found this well-equipped studio just perfect.
