We loved our 10 day stay in November. Steve and Tina did a wonderful job equipping this unit to make it feel like home. It was exactly as advertised and 100% met our expectations. We used the guide book they put together often. Loved the view and watching the surfers. The location was perfect.

Best of all, the ocean view was amazing! The sunrises were gorgeous and made our stay extra special. Also loved that it was walking distance to the Coconut Marketplace. We went to their farmers’ market on a Thursday and were able to mingle with the locals and buy fresh fruits! Thank you for such a great stay.

This was our 3rd time renting this specific unit at WBV Condos. Steve and Tina have literally thought of EVERYTHING to make their place 100% equipped for the perfect stay.
Every single thing I went looking for: specific items in the kitchen, coolers to take to the beach/on road trips, an umbrella for an unexpected rain shower that would have soaked us on our way to dinner, beach towels, travel cups for drinks, boogie boards, the printer for printing boarding passes (I know, I'm old!) and a couple things for work... even a great book to read for my partner... it's ALL there.
I can't say enough great things about this place, and the way it's been set up to GUARANTEE that guests want for nothing. There is not a single thing I needed that I didn't find.
To save some $$ I did more cooking on this 3rd trip, and honestly, I was astonished at how well appointed the kitchen was with fresh gourmet spices, oils, etc. I was able to make 3 incredible meals and not have to buy all those expensive items that I could never use up in an 8 day stay. I really appreciated that.
This is a great place for couples. Quiet, comfortable and that view!! You feel like you are alone there, hardly ever seeing people in front of your unit. The beach is lightly used by local fisherman, and water sports enthusiasts. It's paradise!
This trip I was so excited to watch sea turtles swimming in the ocean right below our lanai! That was probably THE highlight for me.

The condo was well-equipped for a Hawaii vacation! Beach towels, toys, and plenty of necessities. Although hot at times, the AC caught up after a couple hours of turning on. The only hiccup is the bed and the dresser. Very close together and we both hit our ankles and feet when walking in front of the bed. We still very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this condo for a couple! Mahalo!!

This property was absolutely remarkable. It was exactly as described in the descriptions and exactly what we needed for our vacation. The view and the sound of the crashing waves from the deck cannot be beat. We saw a school of dolphins and a few sea turtles right from the deck. Bring binoculars if you want a close up look.
The basic kitchen extras are all provided like sandwich bags, saran wrap, etc. (which you don't find in other places). Didn't use the range or other small appliances, but the fridge is nice and big. Having the air conditioners was a massive life saver inside the condo. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. I'm always nervous about what kind of sleep I'll get with the unknown. The nice big TV's (2) were great for late night shows or the news. But specifically for the channel that tells you all about the island and things you can do/see. Plenty of towels for showers, etc. Plus the W/D are an added bonus if you do run out.
The laminated notes and labels were very helpful with instructions on things or where to find stuff.
The onsite pool was very well kept and super convenient (noodles provided at condo). We took advantage of the provided snorkel gear, beach chairs and umbrella and went over to Lydgate Beach.
Across the street from the condo is Passion Bakery Cafe which has outstanding Malasadas. There is an ABC store down the road to grab anything.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful property in a central location on Kauai. Very comfortable with everything you could want. Great view, comfortable furniture, fully outfitted kitchen, and some beach toys as well. We saw both whales and dolphins from the balcony. The location provides easy access to all parts of the island. Only 30 minutes to rhe south end and less than an hour to the north shore beaches. Plenty of local restaurants, food trucks, and groceries. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved this place. Everyone was super friendly which added to our stay.
Communication with the host was fantastic. Very accommodating as they allowed us to stay one more night when our airline changed our returning flight.
If I could make one recommendation, it would be to replace the towels. They were very musty smelling. We went to Costco and bought are own.
Overall, a fantastic place in paradise. Thanks very much Steve and Tina.

We wish we’d read the listing more carefully (we were dazzled by all the great reviews) because with high 80s temperatures, A/C is necessary. Bottom line, coming home hot from hikes and other activities, we’d have so appreciated being able to cool off. The a/c in the bedroom helped but the tv needed a subscription to work. Sad that being in the car was our sanctuary. Though the condo was nice, we think “luxury” isn’t accurate. I’m sure we’re not first to mention the lack of a/c but obviously poor reviews must be removed by owners.

When we arrived to the apartment it was not fully turned over, we immediately reached out to the owners but we did not hear a single reply from them about this our entire stay. Spectacular view from the condo with the soothing sounds of the wave crashing. Location was perfect, centralized, near shops, restaurants, but yet away from the big crowds. This was a beautiful stay! The oceanside view is unbelievable and it was amazing to just sit out and watch the waves come in and out. A walk down to the beach takes just a few minutes and the bakery across the street is a must-visit. The kitchen provided everything we needed and even some extra condiments in the fridge. The AC in the bedroom is quite loud but we were able to sleep through it and it was greatly appreciated on some of those warmer nights.
One problem we went through was when we uncovered the bed sheets to sleep there was this strong stench that I thought was body odor since it was so strong. The owners told me they've never had an issue with this before but when I contacted the property manager, she said that the mildew build up in the washer makes everything smell like mildew if it sits in for too long. She was pleasant and washed all our blankets and sheets for us by the end of the day and it was resolved but it got me thinking. The check-out list asks for guests to put the sheets in the washer and start it with the laundry detergent they provide before they leave. First, I personally haven't seen any Vrbo's asking guests to wash bedding before so that was a little off putting. Secondly, this is likely where the mildew smell issue arose from if guests check out early and it sits in the washer for hours.
Overall this really is a great stay and I would recommend it to others but just be aware that the bed may smell like mildew.

We really appreciated the location and ocean view from the apartment. The place was clean and well furnished (two sets of snorkel gear were available, as we as other beach equipment).
The restaurant and activity recommendations available on the website and in the property were also very useful.

We arrived to Hawaiian music playing in the condo. Everything was perfectly appointed. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal, including spices.
It is on the third floor and the balcony seems like it's over the water so you hear the waves. We watched whales and surfers right off of our Lanai.
Two TVs but we never turned them on!
The location is very Central and many things to do and see all around but mainly the condo itself was a peaceful respite.

Steve and Tina have thought of everything and literally provide you with a Kauai manual of places to eat, visit, shop, nightlife and/or simply relax and take in the local offerings. The best way to describe the condo is “thoughtful” from providing you will all of the essentials of home and having everything nicely labeled with clear directions (how to access the WIFI, TV setup, what switch turns on what, how to get to places, etc.). You have a lot of restaurants and a bakery option within ½ mile walking distance, but the best place is certainly the Coconut Marketplace which has several restaurants, a Country Market (a mini-mart/souvenir/coffee shop/counter service restaurant), plenty of souvenir shops, and farmer’s market and a hula show a few times a week. The unit is on the 3rd floor so you will have to hike up the stairs, but you will be rewarded with the unmistakable sound of the ocean crashing just below you and the drowning out of the daily rooster calls in the early mornings.

My Hanai family lives on island and this condo is in the perfect location to go North or South. Convenient to shops, groceries and restaurants.
The wave sound machine off the balcony is perfect!! East side sunrises and beaches are not spoken of enough.
Condo has every necessity you’ll need and then some. It was very well thought through.

Washer and dryer worked out great. Conveniently located in the middle of the island made seeing the sites easy. The only thing bad about Kauai is the traffic!

Although we were not at the condo much, it had everything we needed to go out including umbrellas, beach chairs, coffee to go cups and backpacks just to name a few! They literally have everything you need here. We didn’t do much cooking as the condo can get pretty warm without much of a breeze going through but the AC in the bedroom was wonderful and cooled the room off quickly! The bed was also the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a rental!! Thanks so much for thinking of everything! And the water bottles in the fridge were an added bonus because we needed that after a long day of flying!

We stayed here for our 20th Anniversary and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The condo is very clean, updated so beautifully, a view that never gets old with plumeria drifting in the air making lanai hangouts an absolute treat, comfortable furniture, a bed that practically hugs you and an extremely well stocked kitchen. Pride of ownership is evident in every detail. Location can't be beat. Kapaa is delightful with the downtown area for shopping, farmers market right down the road from the condo, restaurants and goodies within walking distance and the beach is right around the corner from the condo. Once you walk to the far end of the condo you take stairs down to the sidewalk and you are practically there already. The pool is well kept but we preferred the ocean for body boarding and just having a private spot to enjoy. We would love to come back to this home!

Best Managed unit in the area. Marvis manages the unit and was amazingly helpful and responsive. She exudes kindness and friendliness. The unit has the most private beachfront balcony with nothing but the sounds of crashing waves. Falling asleep on the deck with or without clothes on is magical. Location is perfect. Can walk to anything needed including grocery, restaurants and pubs. It was so amazing I even purposed on a secluded beach, a 2min walk from the unit.
This rental was full to the brim with EVERYTHING we needed from a full spice rack, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, fully stocked kitchen, and a full sized front lid washer and dryer which came in very handy.

I recommend this place. Everything needed for a comfortable stay is provided. Once door closed you don’t hear outside noises Located in the center. You could reach all parts of island with decent drive time.
Marvis was available at all times to take care of your questions.
