We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely unit which is accurately described in the listing. Being on the ground floor is really convenient, especially if you like to grill your dinner. There are three shared grills, just steps out the back door. The grounds (and the grills) at Kamaole Sands are cared for meticulously. The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

This unit in building 8 was a true find. It was exceptionally clean and was a very quiet spot.
Communications with the owner was rated an A+, and his reply’s were very quick.
Kam Sands is always a great stay. We highly recommend this ground floor unit.
The bed was very comfortable and kitchen had all we needed. There are also plenty of beach towels, chairs, mats & an umbrella to get you started. We loved the larger Lanai for coffee in the am and a card game in the evening.
The evening sky is very nice from there as well as the sunset orange lingers.

We couldn’t arrive to the island due to the fire on the island. Unfortunately I can’t tell anything about the property, however I can tell only positive things about the owner Scott. Our trip was scheduled on August 13- so only couple of days after fire on Lahaina. Scott contacted and updated the information multiple times, he was very patient and detailed with all my questions, concerns and worries. Due to our flight cancellation we had to cancel our trip. The owner understands and refunds with no questions. I’m sure the person with Scott positive attitude and empathy must be great host provide the best service.

This condo is a great deal for the price. It’s on the ground floor in a fantastic location. We could easily walk across the street to the beach or jump in the car to head to other parts of Maui. Because it was on the ground floor, there were persistently some ants in the kitchen and bathrooms, but they were harmless (they don’t seem to bite like the ones back home). The hosts were great and very responsive whenever we reached out (we discovered a shower head was broken and they fixed it right away).
Our kids enjoyed exploring the grounds, catching lizards and frogs, playing ping pong or going to the pool, and playing at the beach right across the street. We appreciated the beach items available for use (boogie boards, ice chest, etc).
There are plenty of food options nearby (for something quick, cheap, and really good, we recommend Coconuts - we would pick up to-go and bring it back to the pool to eat).
We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your place! Everything was perfect and exactly as posted in the listing. The beach gear and sleeping bag were really the icing on the cake for us. We went to see the sunrise and it was freezing up there so grateful to have an extra warm blanket for our little one. The pool, gym, and the game room made our evening, as we still wanted to do stuff, but we’re exhausted from being out all day. The location of your place was also great as we were able to walk to get food and shave ice and also walk across the street to see the most beautiful sunset. Thank you once again!

We really enjoyed this property very much. We've been coming to Maui for many years and have stayed in several condos. This one was ideal for the two of us. We loved staying on the ground floor and being able to just walk outside to wherever we wanted to go... nice and easy. We also love the lanai. It was so comfortable and very quiet. This resort is very big but you didn't feel that once inside this special place. We would definitely return. Thanks Scott

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The condo is in a nice location. I could walk across the street to the beach and we had easy access to finding food and places to eat. The condo was clean and everything we needed was there. It was also quiet and was decorated nicely. I would book this condo again.

we went to celebrate our 30th anniversary. to rest, relax and recharge. Upon arrival with bags of food we loaded the frig and left. Came back to find the food was warm. Took a while and played with frig and got it cold. The floors were dirty, your feet turned dark. The kitchen counters were always the home of ants. We sprayed them multi times a day. The view on the patio was bushes and the other resorts driveway. The most disappointing thing was the AC in the bedroom. It is ran on a timer. So you turn it on, go to sleep and when it runs out of time it scares the crap out of you when it shuts off. Now you have 2 choices get up all night long every time It shuts off or sweat to death. To say the least we did not get any good sleep.

Scott was incredible from the moment we booked to the moment we left. Quick to reply to our inquiries, while booking and check-in process was a breeze. The condo is beautiful and comfortable. The lanai is private and quiet. The unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay both in the condo and for on the beach - cooler, chairs, and boogie boards - everything one would need. A perfect home away from home.

We had a wonderful relaxing week at Scott and Sophia’ condo. The unit was well stocked with everything you need to take to the beach. The weather was perfect and snorkeling was OK. Saw 3 resting turtles among the lava rocks in about 10 feet of water. They can sleep about 11 hours a day.

We had a lovely stay. The condo was spotless, with a well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels including any paper products we needed for our stay which was very much appreciated. We loved the privacy of the patio and appreciated the quiet location of this building. We would definitely stay here again.

It was SUPER clean, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and it was the perfect size for our family of 3.
It has a long hallway from the bedroom to the living room with the sofa bed,
And the extra bathroom was a plus! Our son felt like he has his own space/room while we were there.
The condo is also stocked with everything we needed for our daily beach/hiking excursions; chairs, snorkel gear, umbrella, and cooler. We enjoyed walking to the beach every night to watch the GORGEOUS sunsets.
The complex grounds are beautiful and well kept up.

Nice appartment in a larger complex. Nice beaches in walking distance. Quite a few beach toys came with the condo, that was very nice. Kids loved the boogy board. Nice pool, despite the life guard on duty having a really, really bad day in the office - and that in such a nice place such as Hawaii ;-)...would def. stay there again.

We stayed here for one week, 3 adults. It was just perfect and everything exactly as described. The lanai closet has a few beach chairs, an umbrella, a couple coolers, snorkel gear and bamboo mats. We walked across the parking lot/street to enjoy the beach and snorkel with fish as well as turtles! It was amazing and free fun snorkeling! We enjoyed watching the sunset everyday, just across the street, on the large grass area or the beach.

We stayed here for 10 days. There was almost every possible item we needed. It's quick to get to the pool, and just a short walk to the beach. Liked that it was ground floor. Loved the lanai (breakfast every morning on it).
So the property was good. Had everything we needed. However what made it exceptional was the owner Scott. Leading up to our arrival he was quick to respond. While we were here a few things came up and he continued to be very responsive and extremely accommodating!

Our family of 4 stayed in this lovely condo. We have 2 small boys so we got 1 bedroom and the boys slept on the hide-a-bed. Ground floor was great so the boys could play outside with privacy in back. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Beach is less than a 5 minute walk. Played at the pool every day too! The property manager Scott, was great too. No complaints at all!

Conveniently located on the main lower road in Kihei. Close to beach, grocery store and other food needs. The sun sets across the street everyday! Will definitely recommend to friends and will stay again. Mahalo!

The location was quiet and walking distance to the beach. Property was clean and we enjoyed the use of the chairs and cooler in the lanai closet. Washer had a sign on it that it was broke - fortunately we brought enough clothes for our stay not needing it :)

Great property across the street from the beach. Extremely easy check-in process. Condo was well furnished with a restrained decor. All the amenities for a place to relax and prepare meals if you decide to dine in.
Scott was very responsive to messages, but I had no issues during my stay.

We are happy about the cleanliness of the unit, location, quietness in the night, unit is cool in general, cool breeze through the unit if both sides’ doors are open. The bedroom bed is firm and comfortable. The shower is strong. Only need to walk through the parking lot to the park/beach. Great sunset view on the beach. Local restaurants are very close. When the WIFI password was not working at the beginning Scott called me right away. He is very responsive before, during, and after our stay.

Three women and one man traveled 2600 miles for a wedding. The property was perfect! Checkin was easy, communication was spot on, the condo had a/c, was super clean, 1 bed, 2 bath, with a fold out sofa in a great complex across from the ocean. Walkability was great! This property and experience exceeded our expectations. We found the location, price, and amenities exactly we were wanting and needing for this trip to Maui. We loved the lanai and the ability to sit out in the beautiful setting each day. The property was beautiful with so many tropical plants. The location was perfect and close to the beach, restaurants, and stores and we didn’t use our car as much as we thought we would. We walked out to the beach every day to watch the sunset. The condo had everything we needed and more. We didn’t spend a ton of time there -you know, MAUI! But we liked each having our own bathroom and the kitchen had the basics and saved us lots of money on breakfast and coffee. The hosts were very timely, responsive and helpful. We may be back sooner that we thought.

We stayed in this unit Mar 1-11/22 and it was exactly as advertised. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed (except an oven mitt we found out 😆) for both inside and out. The unit is a bit farther back from the beach but has easy access to the pool and a bbq area very close by (2 units down). The lanai is great with seating for 4 and a nice lounger. Communication with property owner was very quick and easy whenever we had any questions. If you are a light sleeper, consider ear plugs...the windows dont really keep out a lot of sound so we were generally up quite early to the sounds of sprinklers, garbage trucks, birds etc.
Overall, would recommend for a couple or small family and would definitely stay again.

I rented this condo due to the proximity of my sons place. It was super convenient and in a great spot.
The condo was a one bedroom with a pullout couch and it was comfortable and pretty inside.
The pool was a great hang out spot if you wanted to relax, and the beach was a 5 minute walk across the street.
Owner was super easy to get in touch with and was very accommodating.
We look forward to staying here again soon.

We appreciated the communication with the owner, the value, the facilities, the sunset views at the beach, and the hot tubs! We woke up and had breakfasts on the Linai, explored the island all day, and made it back for the best sunsets on the island, right in front of the complex. Honestly, we found that we should keep our food in the fridge as not to attract ants, but the owner responded immediately and said he would make sure it was sprayed right away. Otherwise it was spic and span! We loved our stay!

We enjoyed our stay in this space-efficient unit. With two full bathrooms, it accommodated two couples well. Our friends had the bedroom, and we slept on the sofa bed, which was far more comfortable than we had expected. It's not a new complex, but everything was in good shape and the furniture was comfortable and not worn.
The orientation of the condo allows you to sleep comfortably without air conditioning, although there are AC units in the bedroom and the living room. Air flows between the front screen door and lanai screen door, so we were quite comfortable in November. There are ceiling fans throughout.
The unit is generously appointed with far more kitchen items and supplies than we typically find at rental condos. It's very well organized and appropriately decorated for its Maui location. The owner responded quickly to texts.
