The hike to the ocean on the path is fun and convenient. The views are spectacular, truly fabulous. Bring towels for the beach and Shampoo for the shower. The beach chairs were great. We enjoyed the beautiful view from our patio of the ocean and sunsets were gorgeous. The condo was comfortable and fairly private; we had everything we needed for a nice vacation in Kauai. We had a little issue with the noise of the people staying in the unit above us. It was not very breezy when we were there so the condo was warm.

Location is everything and the ocean view here cannot be beat. Clean and cozy condo with easy access to everything on the North Shore. We had a small snafu with the key not being there when we arrived but that was quickly remedied. No A/C but the trade winds kept us cool at night. However it would be nice to have at least one standalone fan because it gets very warm right before sunset, even with the blinds closed. Would also have preferred more than 4 forks and more than 2 thin beach towels. Kitchen is great for making meals and appliances are new and high-end. Bed was comfortable. Pool, hot tub, and restaurant on the property are great.

Pali Ke Kua #105 is by far the best rental we've had in our multiple decades of visiting Kauai. The unit is perfectly furnished and equipped, the view is world class, the beach is close, and the complex is lush, quiet and very well maintained.

This is a great location! You can watch every gorgeous sunset from the back patio!! Convenient to a little shopping mall with a couple of restaurants, shops and grocery store. Nice shared pool within a short walk.

Great place to relax and decompress after a two-day trip from North Carolina to Kauai . Clean, comfortable, gorgeous view. The condo was well-equipped. Easy parking for our rental car. There is a pizza restaurant on the property. Princeville is only a few minutes from a Foodland grocery, shops and restaurants. No complaints and we would definitely stay again.

This is a very nice, efficiently laid out 1 bedroom ground floor condo. Had all the items needed for our 6 day stay. Unit was very clean, comfortable furniture, beach chairs and other stuff all in the unit for our use. The views of the north shore is what makes this unit unique. Also, there is a (very steep) paved walkway down to a private beach right below the unit. The location is on the north shore so if you are doing things in the east and south side of the island you will have to drive 30-40 minutes, but driving this island is a beautiful experience. Great place to stay!!

This was the most amazing location. Gorgeous panoramic views. Quiet. Easy beach access (with a hill). My husband and I go to Kauai and especially Hanalei Bay/ Princeville often. The property is absolutely lovely. However, not much you can do. But the walls are like paper and could hear things that I shouldn't have to hear.
The bathroom is dated, which makes it feel old and different from the rest of the unit.
Some of the pots and pans were not cleaned as well as they could be.
The advertisement should indicate how dangerous Hideaway Beach is in October and how it's not safe certain times of the year.
This complex and most of the unit we stayed in is absolutely gorgeous. We really enjoyed our stay!

The condo had everything we needed for cooking & plenty of supplies for the beach. Our only complaint was the lack of air conditioning. We were aware of this before booking but it does get quite humid and is not a very refreshing environment. Having to leave the windows open at night also caused us to be woken up at 4:30 every morning by the local roosters. We would recommend staying here…just make sure you bring light clothes to sleep in & ear plugs!

The view from the kitchen and living room was gorgeous. They overlooked the ocean from a steep cliff. We didn't like that the TVs had no instructions and were hard to figure out. We also would've liked to have known that there was access to the beach that was close to our unit. We didn't learn that until the last day!

Loved the view, the small hidden beach, the conveinence to Hanalei (the north side of Kauai) and the neighborhood! The interior was clean and functional - kitchen, bath, and laundry. Everything went super smooth with this property. When we arrived, it had a "wow" factor, as it was even better than the pictures! Somehow, you can see both the sunrise and the sunset from the front garden (which is something I thought impossible), so afternoons here were magical.

This unit has a fabulous location. The views are spectacular. Go in to any gallery on the island and you will see painting after painting with this exact view. The local beaches are perfect little swimming beaches and not crowded. You can also walk to Queens Bath and Anini from here. The Pali Ke Kua complex has a nice pool and pub on site which is also very convenient. Even though you are surrounded by other units, it feels very private and quiet on the lanai. We typically do a lot of cooking and the kitchen here was a bit spartan but I wouldn't trade that view for anything. Would definitely stay here again!

We didn't have any extra garbage sacks or a cookie sheet, but otherwise the full kitchen was great. Drinking water and ice from the fridge was good. We had a wonderful week in Kauai, staying at Pali Ke Kua #105. We loved the quiet but also convenient location, and couldn't have asked for a better view of the ocean/sunset! The condo was lovely, clean, and had everything we needed to enjoy a home away from home experience. We loved being just a short drive away from tons of amazing beaches, hikes, and especially Queen's Bath! We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for the perfect non-hotel experience.

A beautiful condo in a beautiful location, right on the edge of the cliff and an amazing view of the Bali Hai mountains. The furniture in the condo is gorgeous and it has everything you need from cooking utensils to beach chairs. The location is ideal for morning runs through Princeville or walking to the St. Regis resort for evening drinks. Hanalei is only a short drive away and the surrounding area offers plenty of things to do for everyone. Would definitely stay here again.

We visited Princeville earlier this year and stayed at the St. Regis. We fell in love with Kauai and booked a return trip - this time looking for something a little more affordable. We remembered Pali Ke Kua from driving by and after a little research picked #105. We were very pleased! The location is PERFECT, and the view is exactly as shown in the pictures - better view than the St. Regis! The 2 beaches below the cliff are beautiful and SO PRIVATE - we didnt even know they were there the last time we visited. The condo was exactly as pictured as well, we were very happy with it. It was clean and well-equipped, even with beach chairs and gear. The kitchen had everything we needed. The Hideaways Pizza Pub is a 2 minute walk down the path and the food is great. We even spent some time by the pool, which was clean and quiet. We called the property manager on a Sunday because our pool key was not working and she answered right away. Overall a great vacation! Our only negative was that there were a few small bugs flying around when we first got in the apartment - maybe the cleaning person left the doors open while cleaning? But Kauai was buggy, in general this time of year, so not a big deal. There were people staying in the unit above us and noise was not a problem at all. I would recommend this unit to friends and we will probably re-book it when we go back!

My partner could not have asked for a more pleasant stay on Kauai. The unit was well-equipped (plentiful kitchen supplies, beach gear, well-functioning washer/dryer and dishwasher, DVD player, books including guidebooks) and clean, with lovely furniture and decor. The view from the lanai is insanely gorgeous, and you can't beat having private access to Hideaways beach, our favorite beach in Hawaii. We were recommended by friends to stay here, and would (will!) stay here again!

The condo was immaculate and well-stocked with kitchen supplies, etc. The bed is super comfortable and it was great having a washer/dryer right in the unit. Working with Jeff and Lori was a delight. Quick responses to all my questions, etc This was our first time staying at a VRBO and I can't say enough good things about this condo. I wish we had stayed much longer. We will be back and will hopefully get to stay in this same place. The grounds are gorgeous, too. Mahalo for a great stay.

We spent 5 wonderful days at Pali Ke Kua #105 and loved every minute! Everything was exactly as described and promised. The condo was perfect for our needs. We loved the layout, the amenities, the breezes, the privacy but most of all the view!! I would rent this condo again in a heartbeat and I have already recommended it to others. Mahalo to the owner and to the property management. We also particularly enjoyed our meals at Postcards Cafe and BARacuda. We highly recommend Wings Over Kauai for an excellent aerial view of the island at half the price of the helicopter tours.

This condo was a great fit for my husband and I. Very clean, well stocked with everything you'd need to enjoy your stay. The only slight hitch is that the BBQ is at the botton of a very long steep path to the beach, and it is charcoal (which I believe you need to supply your own). We're big on grilling and this was disappointing. Other than that one detail, the property is perfect - immaculate and very quiet. Great location too; close to golf course, private beach and to a little shopping centre. The owner was accommodating and responds to inquiries very quickly! Last but certainly not least, the view is SPECTACULAR from this condo. Would definitely recommend!!

My fiancé and I had a luxurious and comfortable stay after hiking the Kalalau trail. The biggest perks for us were the gorgeous view, the comfortable bed, and the washer and dryer. The home is beautifully decorated, had everything we needed, and great access to Hideaways...and that view!!

My husband and I stayed here for 10 nights and absolutely fell in love with this little private paradise. The views were amazing and the sunsets even better. The path leading to the beach was a little bit of a hike back up but totally worth it!! The beach was not only gorgeous but very secluded. At times, we were the only ones on the beach!! We pretty much snorkeled at every North Shore beach and this one had the best snorkeling by far. The condo came with everything we needed to have fun on the beach including the snorkeling gear, chairs and cooler. The bed was very comfortable and the breezes were amazing. We stayed in May and did not feel hot, muggy or uncomfortable at all. We will definitely come back to stay again!!

A perfect getaway for two. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need. Comfy king size bed. New washer/dryer. Nicely furnished for a relaxing stay. And the view will take your breath away! Check-in/out hassle free. Good communication before stay. Guest book needs to indicate where to empty the trash before departure. That's my only suggestion. You'll have a great time here!

Condo was clean and well equipped. Kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. The view from the lanai is exceptional. The only negative is that you can easily hear the occupants of the condo above. Other than that, this place is great and I would stay here again.

Pali Ke Kua #105 was lovely--well stocked, clean, and beautifully furnished with an absolutely gorgeous view of the Na Pali coastline. It was close to wonderful restaurants in Hanalei and Ha'ena. The snorkeling on the private beach below the condo complex was superb---the best on the island in our view and we tried several other beaches. We would definitely return to this unit at Pali Ke Kua and recommend it to anyone looking for a serene and memorable vacation on the north shore of Kaua'i!

We were very pleasantly relieved to arrive at the condo and find it exactly as pictured! It is an absolutely beautiful spot to settle in to watch whales, get acquainted with the local birds and watch sunsets from the lanai. Close to walking paths along the Princeville golf course, and a short walk from the St Regis. Very close to good restaurants and beaches in Hanalei. We like cooking and found the kitchen area very well equipped. We'd love to go back to this condo for anniversary 51,2,3....

Three years ago my wife and I stayed at another unit in Pali Ke Kua, and were extremely pleased. However, Unit #105, although the location is superb and the view outstanding, was a big disappointment. The furniture was old, inadequate and uncomfortable. The bed was lumpy. The ice maker in the freezer was broken. The washing machine was rusty and items washed on the cold water setting came out hot. The screen door does not lock and the blinds on the sliding glass door were filthy. The living room fan made an annoying clicking sound. And the path from the parking lot to the unit is extremely steep--especially dangerous for seniors with luggage. The unit badly needs an upgrade to match the quality of the location.

This property is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The views are likely the best part, although we loved the location on the North Shore. The property was clean and had all of the amenities we needed for our stay. The private beach is stunning and a nice hideaway. The beach chairs, beach towels and binoculars were a great touch and we used them all during our stay. Having a washer & dryer was also very convenient. Would definitely recommend.

As you do, we were searching through a massive list of condos. We knew we loved princeville but weren't familiar with the different accommodations. It's always a bit hard to tell from photos. We were SO very pleased with our choice! The views were amazing! It felt like there couldn't be a better spot on the island as the sun set DIRECTLY in front of this condo. We also drove through some of the other complex's which made us even happier with our choice. The landscaping is very nice here and the trees provide nice shade in the parking area. We noticed that some other condos residents had to completely cover their cars to prevent sun damage. Condo was nicely stocked with everything we could need! Have already recommended to family and friends.

My husband and I had a great experience at Pali Ke Kua. Our rental was on the bottom floor of the first building right as you turned onto the property. The view is EXACTLY like the picture and is incredible. The amenities were perfectly described and everything that we used worked great. We never ended up cooking as I had originally intended but it was so nice to have the kitchen available just in case. I would highly recommend staying at this location. We did go in June, and there is no air conditioning. The first day we walked in, we were worried but it never ended up being an issue. As stated, the trade winds really do cool it off and we were more than comfortable.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon. As first timers to Hawaii we were amazed by the beauty of Kauai. I loved every morning making breakfast and having coffee on the lanai. The view was amazing! My only suggestion might be to add 1 or 2 frying pans as they are well loved and there was only 1 very used pan. Also I did notice that the lid on the blender was cracked and broken. These things nonetheless could be helpful to maybe replace for future guests. I would definitely come back again and stay. Hope to maybe bring some friends along next time so a bigger unit might be needed, but would definitely stay again if just the 2 of us. Also, the bed was comfy so that was a big plus for me. Mahalo!

We enjoyed the view and location of the condo which was first rate. The decor, furniture, mattress, pillows and appliances were very dated and uncomfortable. We had to share a chair meant for 1 person to watch a movie, the ice maker was not hooked up, and we could only run the dishwasher and leaky washer/dryer when we left because they were so noisy. We called management for soap, shampoo and washer detergent as 2 mini bars & 1 mini shampoo/ conditioner was left for 2 people for a 1 week stay: We left a message without response, so we purchased our own from the local grocery. Walls are thin, so neighbors are well heard in the unit.

This vacation rental is a premiere spot in Princeville and near Hanalei Bay. The view is truly breath taking and the sunset is the best spot on the island. My favorite part of the location is that it is next to the private access beach for Pali Ke Kau which is a dream beach in paradise. The only negative is that it was very hot in the day for my mother as there was no air central air conditioning. Hideaways pub has incredible pizza and queen's bath was only a short 15 minute walk away. Amazing location and experience!
