The washer and dryer in our unit was the best thing ever!

Pros: The condo is comfortable and homey. It has a well-stocked and very functional kitchen. Convenient location away from the busyness of downtown. On shuttle bus line - steps away from bus stop in either direction. Adequate off street free parking. Safe – although someone took the propane tank from the grill. Don’t leave any valuables in car. Checking into the condo is very easy regardless of arrival time. Vacasa communicated the code very well. Nice pool and hot tub in building across the street. Modern clothes washing machine and dryer. New and functional air-conditioner Cons: Noise from Alii Drive – this was my biggest disappointment. I was unprepared for the traffic noise. It did quiet down later in the evening. The bedroom is in the rear of the condo which provides quiet sleeping. Broken sliding door blinds – this doesn’t reflect well on condo owner or Vacasa. No ice maker – tubing was in refrigerator and not hooked up. Rather uncomfortable bed. The condo is slightly rough around the edges, but very livable. Limited ocean view. It’s possible to see the ocean through the garage of the main building. The living room ceiling fan is slightly dysfunctional with a mind of its own. The light would turn on for no apparent reason. No dish washer. Be prepared to get a lot of practice washing dishes. Bottom line: It appears the pros of this property outweighed the cons. However, this was first trip to Kona, Hawaii. Knowing what I know now I would be more careful and search for a quieter location. I also feel as though the rental price of this property is high considering the negative points I listed.

Clean and comfortable. Convenient to beaches and shopping. Management was very accommodating and easy to work with for my special situation. Great place to stay.

We stayed at this condo for 5 nights late December. The condo is facing Ali'i Drive with heavy traffic. As the one window A/C unit was not working, window had to be open, making it difficult to sleep. Living room area a little moldy. Upon arrival, no linens for the second bed. Later, these were provided by the on-site VRBO person. On the positive side, the location is good, close to Kailua town and to South Kona. I would not rent this condo again.

Super clean, but noisy for the 3 and 4th guest that sleep on fold out bed in living room. You will be next to the street side that is busy with traffic. But the guest room that sleeps two is quite. Cleaning fee is very pricy.

Very nice setup! Very well equipped kitchen. Did not get to spend more than a night.
