This is a great spot. The price can't be beat. The restaurant downstairs is very tasty and convenient. I enjoyed the balcony and the hot tub. The room was pretty nice, but did have some areas that needed a little TLC. Our main concern was that the air conditioner was very loud and did not keep up well. We were often too hot. There was no thermostat so you have to leave it on to sleep but if it runs all night you might get cold and the noise may make it difficult to relax. The hosts were very responsive and checked the AC for us, but that is just how it is.

Location was perfect if you’re planning to stay in Waikiki and walk downtown. Beach, Restaurants and shopping were all walking distance. Kitchenette was great for quick breakfast/ meals!

We had a leak in our bathroom ceiling from the night we got there. I reported it to Vacasa via text and call, and they never passed on the information to the building maintenance, (as it continued to drip/leak). The building maintenance came two days later when a unit below me reported it, I confirmed that I did and showed them the text and call log. There were workers in and out of our unit for an entire day, and the leak kept getting worse. We checked in Thursday night and it wasn't until Sunday am that everything dried up because they relocated the person above us. At one point it was literally raining in our bathroom. I call Vacasa again because it was getting worse. I asked for return call regarding the inconvenience and stress this caused on what was our vacation. I never heard back. We checked out Tuesday am. If the bathroom had been fully functional, the unit was great for what we needed/wanted, walking distance to food/shops, and great view. The owner needs to find a new property management company, Vacasa is doing nothing for them and ruining their property.

I stayed almost a week with a child in this room. The microwave was broken and when I called customer service they always assured me how they would get someone to come "asap" to fix it and that never happened. It was the reason why I booked this room because it had a full kitchenette. From my experience, Vacasa has no follow through and makes empty promises to only pacify the renter. I'm very disappointed with this aspect and will not be renting if Vacasa is involved in the future. Everything else was great.

I was taking my daughter back to UH Manoa for the semester. We made several trips between Ala Moana shopping and the university and the rental. Everything was so easy to get in and out of parking, eating places were so close, and Starbucks was one block. I also relaxed on the patio in the morning and at night and the view was spectacular. Only two things on the down side was the noise from the air conditioner and taking care of trash was confusing.

The condo was very clean and comfortable - could use better kitchen utensils and lids for pans and skillets and rice maker is dead. Pool, sauna and grills near pool were all great. There is one issue that needs to be mentioned - a urine odor on balcony from neighbor. This was addressed by on site property management and they sent a crew in and cleaned it up while we were there.

Last minute trip and I was reluctant with what was available. Chose this spot and I was pleasantly surprised. Had everything we needed and great location. I’m sure someone could find something not fancy about it but that’s not what I look for anyway. Had the ability to cook ourselves and a full size refrigerator. Pool was nice and even the full time residents were pleasant to interact with. I travel to Hawaii 5 to 6 times a year and I will definitely look for this availability again.

everything was great and i loved alll the amenities. the only thing is that there were many bugs in the bathroom and cockroaches which were scary since we are not used to them. There were many of them which was gross but other than that it was bearable.

Enjoyed our stay with Island Colony! Comfortable, clean and convenient. Restaurants, bus stop, International Market and a must try Kona coffee Purveyors their pastries were delicious!!! We would stay here again, thank you so much!

This place had the best views. pool area was clean. great security- we always felt safe. rooms were very clean and spacious. walking distance to EVERYTHING!! i have been to honolulu three times, and this condo was the best one ive stayed at so far. great staff also- we had taxi service there within minutes every time we needed to go somewhere further than walking.

Nice place with one of the best views I’ve ever had , just took a little while to check in because I had to have the front desk call the property owner for the room code
