Very nice rental. Spacious, clean and well appointed. Grounds very nice, with big pool and hot tub only a quick walk from the unit.Would return, but not in the winter. North Shore weather in winter is a bit colder/wetter than expected, and beaches not as calm.

Fantastic accommodations and great amenities. They had snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach chairs, sand toys, bikes, and everything you could want on a vacation. Did not need to rent anything. Right off the makai golf course. And great location to hideaway beach and a Anini Beach.

Princeville is such a great destination for a relaxed and chill week. It forces you to slow down. 15 minutes from Hanalei Bay so we could come back and forth easily. Less than 5 minute drive to grocery store and shops.
The pictures on this listing don’t do the apartment justice! It’s so spacious and easily accommodated 5 of us. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and walk in closet. We also had two lanais which was great to watch the sunset. Plenty of towels, beach towels, beach toys, And beach chairs. Two car garage underneath made it so easy. And last but not least, I had to have central AC bc of breathing issues and it worked great. We will definitely be coming back to this property. When you walk in it’s stunningly large and beautiful.

Had a great time at the Condo. The only issue I had with the condo was the housekeeping. The house cleaner needed to do a better job cleaning the condo. There was thick dust on the blinds and lamps. Other than that the condo was spacious and enjoyable.

My friend and I had a pleasant stay at Nihilani. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the condo was spacious and comfortable. It was easy to get in and out with the key in the lockbox. It was convenient to get to Hanalei and the surrounding beaches. Would stay here again!

We loved our stay at Nehalani 9C, the 3 bedrooms was perfect for our familly size.
For the most part the townhouse was tidy upon our arrival but definatley requires some more indepth cleaning like the walls and bathrooms.
The unit is also getting dated and could use some upgrades in the bathrooms, laundry and kitchen. The clothes washer and dishwasher both make noises that get you concerned like somthing is going to break. The bathrooms you can see issues with the grout in the showers and the towel bars keep falling off.
The other issue was the pool and bbq area was closed for painting for the majority of our trip which in our mind was somthing that was included in the rental of this unit and the bbq would definatley have been used. We were not notified about the pool area until we were kauai.
We loved staying here and felt at home and would consider renting it again, the issues are minor but at the price you pay per night you would expect everything to be perfect.

The online listing looked great and so did the location. When we arrived to the area, we were very pleased. The neighborhood was great and the pool was awesome!!
Once inside our rental, our excitement dwindled. The overall cleanliness of the unit was poor. There was hair on the shower drain, sticky juice on the kitchen floor and MOLD on the ceiling vents. Additionally, all the walls in the unit were beat up and desperately needing paint.
During our stay, the garage door broke making it a pain getting the car in and out... we were told it wouldn't be fixed until our last day at the rental. Lastly, and frankly the most disappointing, the end of our stay was ruined by Painters. They had begun planting the outside of the building and covered all our windows/ doors with plastic wrap (yep, no views and no breeze for 2 whole days and pressure washing for another day). We couldn't even use the lenai for coffee/ meals. In fact, the patio furniture was stored in the home's dinning room...making it cramped.
The property manager notified us prior to our arrival of the painting (within a week), but it would have been too late to find another place.
With a very thorough cleaning, some maintenance and upkeep, this place could be great.

This as a wonderful condominium.It was large and spacious.It was located directly across from a greenbelt which was perfect for morning coffee and to just take in the wonderful view with a peek ant the ocean.There was plenty of room for us and my daughters family.The grandchildren loved the pool.We were there at the end of every day.This condo was an overall great experience.

This was a great location and place for our family. Liz was super helpful in communicating directions and instructions for the home. It was well equipped with the things we needed both for the beach and for making meals in. My kids enjoyed the comfort of the house and it was enough space for all 6 of us. This is a lovely unit - Second floor that overlooks so much beauty. Close to walking paths, midway between the St Regis and Food Mart/Shopping. The floor plan is great for privacy as well as family time in the great open LR/DR/Kitchen area. Quiet, manicured lawns, great pool/BBQ area. We rented 5 units in Nihilani for our family reunion. This fit 6 people easily. The pool area was great for family potluck/BBQ's. The kids LOVED the Pool. The managers were responsive to all of our needs. Thank you!

We try to stay at 9C as often as twice a year depending on its availability and our schedule. The location and layout is excellent for our purposes and we like the fact that we know it well. However, the maintenance and cleanliness have steadily declined over the last 4 years: carpets are badly soiled; I had to repair the AC vent in the master because it rattled so badly; 2 toilets running constantly (I fixed the one in the master bath); floor lamps in main room had to be re-wired because of shorts (I did both); lamp shades in master broken with holes; dirt, dust and dead bugs in most of the corners of hard surface floors; screen door on front deck bent and not closable; and draw drape blinds broken and missing slats front and rear. The place needs to have attention and a rigorous cleaning.

This is a Huge condo. Our closet was big enough to be a bedroom. Everything was fine& worked great. Carpet needs replaced but I'm sure the owner knows that. Outside of faulty directions by the property manager, the stay was perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We are a family of four with two young kids 11 and 13. The condo was very spacious and well equipped. Location within the complex ideal with a nice greenbelt across the street behind the unit (the large lanai off the dining room overlooks this). The complex was very quiet. Location in Princeville is very convenient to North Shore activities. Having the garage was nice. We took advantage of some of the beach toys. Previous guests were a little rough on the carpet but I can't fault the manager for that. Will certainly look to staying here again. I would recommend picking up groceries further south eg Lihue if possible before arriving. The local foodland has a nice deli but the grocery prices are crazy even for Kauai.

We loved staying in this unit during our stay in Princeville! We had my family of eight (six kids ages 3-14) plus my parents and it still felt spacious. We had a few of the small kids sleep on the inflatable mattress on the floor or on the couch in the living room and everyone else stayed in the very roomy bedrooms. The kitchen is HUGE and the dining area is great. We enjoyed the extra desk area where we could put a couple of computers and watch our underwater videos we took while snorkeling and the video/pictures we took during our Na Pali coast adventure. The boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, and cooler were GREAT to have at the unit and utilize during our stay. The Wi-Fi worked great and was fast which was a nice feature because I've had poor Wi-Fi at other vacation destinations. There is a TV in the living room as well as the bedroom where the queen bed is with plenty of TV station options and DVR. There are two lanais with the one off the dining area offering a pleasant view of a grass area across the street. Also, how can I forget to mention the mattresses! My wife and I slept on the king bed and the mattress was GREAT! So often you go on vacation and sleep poorly because of the bed but that was not the case here, we loved it! Air conditioning is a rare find on Kauai so that was really nice to have when needed though we tried to rely on the trade winds as much as possible due to Kauai's high electricity costs. The two car garage is tighter than I'm used to but we fit a full size car and minivan in there without issue. Backing the minivan out I would have to do a 3 point turn in the driveway but it worked out great. There is a nice pool and hot tub setup in the complex which we utilized a few times. We had to keep the kids tamed down though because they are pretty strict about much noise coming from the pool area and zero tolerance on noise after 6:00 PM. We spent a lot of time snorkeling at Anini Beach which is only a few minutes to the east. It is shallow and calm which is great for the kids. We utilized the boogie boards and went to Kahiliwai several times as well and found it to be a perfect destination in the winter with good waves to ride rolling in yet shallow waters that I felt comfortable letting my kids enjoy 50 yards or so off shore. That beach is only a few minutes past Anini. Liz did a great job handling the rental and we commented multiple times how much we loved the unit and would come back again. 5 stars!

We were there for an entire month and it was wonderful. The amount of space and bathrooms meant that all six of us were comfortable and uncrowded. The mountain view from the one lanai was lovely and the second lanai view was of Pepelani loop and a large open field of green. Sound didn't carry from the main living space to the individual bedrooms at all or from room to room.There was only an extra tv in one of the bedrooms and that worked for us. The kitchen was great for prep and cooking space. Well fitted with what we needed EXCEPT it needs more cutting boards and a can opener that worked well.The garage was big enough for two vehicles and lots of beach things for adults and kids. The property manager, Liz, was completely accessible for any questions or minor concerns(asked for a window cleaner,a fridge issue and extra parking).We will gladly work with this company again and recommend this condo for a large family or group.

Absolutely beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and well furnished. Nihilani 9C has everything you need (and didn't want to bring on the plane with you) for an easy, peaceful, relaxing vacation...beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, sand toys, sunblock, ice chest, etc. This 3-bedroom townhome is very peaceful with a convenient location: 2 min (walking-distance) from the pool, 5 min driving from Foodland, shopping, and restaurants (which is convenient with kids) and 10 min driving from Hanalei beach. The pictures are accurate but really underestimate the quality and spaciousness of the home. Perfect for families! Highly recommend!
