There is plenty to see and do near Casa De Emdeko 235. Located within walking distance of Kailua-Kona village, you'll love exploring the area and its many significant Hawaiian cultural landmarks. Both the Hulihee Palace and the Mokuaikaua Church are located on Ali'i Drive. King Kamehameha I spent his last years living near the current site of what is now the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel, until his passing in 1819. The Ahu'ena Heiau, located on the grounds of the hotel, is a reconstructed temple rebuilt by the late king and is on the register of National Historic Landmarks.

People-watch—and cruise ship-watch—from the Kailua-Kona Pier, where you'll have access to Hawaii's best scuba diving, big-game fishing, kayaking, and dolphin and whale watching. Visit the famous farmers market. Enjoy a shave ice or a cup of Kona coffee. Dine on a light snack or a gourmet meal, buy an inexpensive souvenir or a piece of fine art, book an activity, go for a swim or hang out at the beach. The pier is the official starting and finishing point of the Ironman World Championship (held annually in October), and a great place to watch the sunset. Everything you want and need is readily available in Kailua Kona town.

Casa De Emdeko 235 is an ideal vacation rental located on the Island of Hawaii. It is an ideal place to stay while exploring the many natural wonders, including Mauna Kea Observatory, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, artist communities, coffee, and macadamia nut farms, and so much more.

Our stay was great. The space is basic, but it was all we needed. We wish the kitchen chairs were more comfortable. We really enjoyed the views and the pools. It was a nice and quiet complex.

I received a text message before check-in that there is no hot water issue. First night, no shower. Even the cold water volume is very low. This continued until the 2nd night 7pm. And the third day also stopped the water for 4 hours. This has caused so much discomfort for a vacation. I received text messages to reassure that someone will contact me and determine the compensation or refund, but that never happened. I hope the management knows that a vacation with no private shower is a big issue. No compensation, no replacement, I am not sure if this is worth the stay again.

Condo 235 had a very good location within the development-close to the patio amenities made barbecuing convenient and all equipment on the open patio functioned well. The unit was well appointed and the only suggestion for improvement is to replace the small settee in the living room (very soft and uncomfortable for sitting). and perhaps arrange Netflix streaming. Beach chairs and cooler were useful. We would rebook here another time.

As pictured and described. Great complex with a very nice ocean front pool. Great location for the money - if you want to stay up North by the resorts...you will have to pay to stay at the resorts. Unit is plenty spacious for a couple. Short drive to Kailua Kona and all the things in town there. Very close to Magic Sands beach if that's your thing. Only things that could have been better: - Getting secured parking inside the gate is tough if you return from dinner later than the old folks. In that case you must park outside the gate and walk in. -Unit was very clean, save for some short black hairs in the shower and on the bathroom floor. Not the end of the world but makes you wonder what the $150 cleaning fee goes towards. All and all would stay here again if visiting the Big Island.

We loved our stay here. This is a small, quiet complex, mostly adults. The private beach and saltwater pool set this apart from other properties. The balcony provides shade and excellent water views. We enjoyed it for coffee in the mornings and eating dinner in the evening. There were some maintenance issues during our stay, but the property managers were quick to respond and resolve the problem. The mattress is firm and comfortable. The unit is clean and in great condition. The beach chairs, coolers, etc. were a great bonus. We look forward to returning next year. This complex has a lovely community feel. Residents gathering at the beach nightly to watch the sunset, including blowing the conch shell as the sun hits the water.

The unit had everything we needed. Only problem we experienced was a noise emanating from a neighbouring units AC. The management promptly took care of this after our contacting them Many of the guests are long time returnees. Felt more like a social club. Very friendly and helpful. Some blow the conch at every sunset. Pools were not crowded . There are 3 BBQs, so no waits, There is a small manmade beach (not on shoreline which is rocky)that had lots of shade if you needed it . There are security codes required to drive , enter the property. and access common restrooms. Parking within the complex was often full, so at time had to park just outside the enclosure. behind the commercial building. Which is fine when you display your parking pass.

Unit was very nice. Unit below us had air handler problems (loud noise and floor vibrations) which onsite maintenance and elite pacific properties worked hard to fix, even though unit belonged to another party.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights, the condo was beautifully updated. King size bed was very comfortable. The condo was equipped with everything we needed including coolers, Kona coffee, washer/dryer, beach towels and snorkel gear. I loved the condo complex including the two pools and amazing ocean views. Will be coming back here again!

Very pleased with the location of this unit. Very quiet, all you hear is the ocean which is exactly what we wanted. Friendly people in the community area, but again quiet and peaceful. The unit is nicely updated and decorated, and had everything we needed. We found it very easy to relax and enjoy Kona from here. We are VRBO owners ourselves and would be happy to stay here again.

We had the BEST time here! Loved the property, great view, and it was super clean. The bed was super comfy. Lots of friendly folks who are here more permanently. It is convenient to downtown. We loved watching the whales from the lanai! We were sad when it was time to leave. We hope to be back in Kona and will absolutely stay here again!
