It’s almost oceanfront with about a 30 second walk to sea wall next to shoreline and about 60 seconds to the pool area. It’s so close you can hear and see the ocean and it’s less than 1/2 mile to the best snorkeling beach in Kona.

Mix a cool drink, or two, and watch the sunset each evening from the nearby lookout OR from the beach 200 yards out your front door. Everything you'll need to enjoy your vacation is in the unit and well-maintained for your comfort.
And, when you finally decide to rest your eyes you'll do so with the sounds of surf to gently soothe you to sleep. In the morning the birds will serenade you to begin another wonderful day in paradise.
You will enjoy some ocean views from within the unit or while relaxing on your lanai. Did we mention that the pool is only 60 feet away from the unit? All you have to do is walk around the sacred heiau which is our 'backyard' and there's the pool.
Or, you can just as easily walk less than 60 feet to the shoreline. If you're a regular tennis player or even just experimenting we have 3 lighted PREMIER surface courts and they're FREE for our guests. If you want private or group lessons from our designated complex tennis professional, that’s also easy to do! And, yes, we have a couple of tennis racquets for our guests as well.

More about our complex - Located on world-famous Ali'i Drive the Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club is a four star, gated complex just three minutes drive from groceries, shops, theater, and one of the most popular snorkeling beaches in Hawaii - Kahaluu State Park (also known as Turtle Beach). Additionally, the Kona Country Club golf course is located immediately next to the Surf and Racquet Club. There's even a FREE shuttle to get to and from town or the nearby shopping center - this shuttle stops about 400 yards from our entry gate. It’s called the Honu Express!
More about the unit - This unit sleeps four. The master bedroom includes a king bed, stand-a-lone air conditioning unit, dresser, desk, TV, DVD player, clock radio, phone, ocean views, ceiling and pedestal fan AND a walk in closet. The second bedroom includes twin beds, stand-a-lone air conditioning unit, dresser, large closet, ceiling and pedestal fan and slight ocean view. Really, come let the waves lull you to sleep at night - it's wonderful.
The unit was completely remodeled in 2006 with brand new everything: furniture, appliances and other amenities. And it had brand new beautiful new white tile flooring and fresh paint throughout. (It’s continued to be maintained by new owner and local contact to perfection!)
Beach Supplies - We have beach towels, chairs, boogie, cooler and even toys for the kids - just ask when you make reservation.
The location of condo and subsequent remodel was done with both our guests and our personal visits in mind. We wanted a place that we would LOVE on our return every year and it had to be in a GREAT location. We also made sure that it was furnished and decorated to accomodate all guests in comfort. After staying here you'll never want to stay in a hotel on vacation again!
In addition to all the other fun stuff our condo is a centrally located for visiting the Kona coffee plantations in nearby Holualoa, traveling to Volcanoes National Park, experiencing boating excursions off the Kailua-Kona pier, shopping at outdoor markets or taking a tour to the top of Mauna Kea and visiting the observatory. And it's only 3 minutes drive to Kahaluu State Park (aptly known as Turtle Beach) where you can snorkel and swim with the turtles and beautiful tropical fish. The park has multiple bathrooms, showers and vendors that sell food and rent snorkel and beach gear.

My favorite part was the full stock of items (towels, body lotion, kitchen supplies, beach chair, cooler). Home was bigger than expected. A/C in bedrooms upstairs kept sleeping cool and comfortable. Complex is very nice, very safe. Easy check in. Amazing sunset at beach (literally steps away).

The property was very comfortable and great location on the micro and macro level. Close (not too close) to pool. We could see the ocean. Close to store and a short drive to beaches and Kona. It had everything we needed and was well stocked with kitchen needs. Neighbors were nice and overall great visit. Highly recommend renting kayaks and paddling to captain cooks monument just a bit south.

This was a perfect property for us! Our family of four wanted to drive all over the island seeing as many different beaches, parks, golf courses, and other attractions as possible. This was a great home base. The townhouse was clean, safe, and well stocked. We especially enjoyed the beach chairs and pool noodles while snorkeling. The air conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms worked great and made it very comfortable to sleep. It did get warm downstairs writing the day but who’s home them? It’s Hawaii! The beach nearby was great to go out and have coffee in the mornings. Great place to stay!

The location is a little further south of Kona than we had previously stayed which turned out to be quite the bonus. There are two walkable beaches, one literally next door. The facility was lovely and the pool was much appreciated. The unit was clean and had everything we needed and the sunset views from the back deck were epic. 10/10, would recommend.

The condo was perfect for our Family of 4. Not fancy, but well stocked and very functional with a comfortable & homey feel. Location is top notch! Upscale local shopping center a block away. 1 min walk to beautiful private beach, Lanai w/ocean views & 15 min to downtown Kona. 2 steps is about 25 min, perfect to be in the water by 7:15am for a nice morning free dive with the dolphins! (Yes we got lucky and they played with us for 20 min, on my son’s very first free dive!). Chris our local contact/support is a true badass lady in the best way! We had issues with the WiFi and she was there installing a new modem within 2 hours. Had a slow drain upstairs bathroom; Chris had plumbers there and fixed in under 2 hours. Thank You!! We had an amazing time and look forward to our next visit!

Nice stay at the end unit: clean and comfortable, nice location with 10 min walk to snorkeling beach and shopping center for restaurant and groceries. The swimming pool (not heated) setting is relaxing. Owner is very helpfully and responsive.
The only concern is if you have seniors or little kids, need to be very cautious as the stairs are little bit steep. No bleach is used for towels, so they could be off white, if you have concerns, you may bring your own.

We spent 6 nights at the townhouse. It was very clean and quiet. We loved hanging out at the spacious pool in a warm day. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to prepare a meal. Nice shopping center and snorkelling nearby the complex. We had a great encounter with turtles at the turtle beach. The property owner Sandy and on site manager Jeri were super helpful to ensure our stay was pleasant. We truly enjoyed our time here.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The facilities at the KKS&R club are great. Clean, tidy, secure with lovely gardens. Pool is excellent. The condo is well equipped with everything you need. We cooked our own meals most nights. We loved listening to the surf crashing. The location is central for exploring the costal areas. You really do need your own transport. We initially found it a bit confusing driving around the area and coming from Kona airport but you soon get the hang of it. Local shopping centre for groceries etc. is near by. Resort town and beaches close enough to access by car for shopping and cafes, swimming and snorkelling. My only negative would be the upstairs section which is where the bedrooms are located gets very warm in the afternoons and stays warm into the evening. There is a portable air con in the main bedroom but is extra charge and only somewhat effective. Some block out blinds to keep room from heating up might be helpful. The stairs might be a problem for senior people as a little steep and tiled. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the area is definitely worth a visit.
