Had an amazing time staying at this beautiful condo! Everything you need is at your finger tips. The pool is just down the street and is so relaxing. Used it everyday along with the workout area. Exceptional! Would recommend to anyone coming to the wailea area. Perfect location to beaches, shops and restaurants. Golf is minutes away.

Can’t say enough…. Wonderful property across from Wailea Beach (8-10 min walk). Lanai with the corner opening glass walls brings indoor/outdoor living to life. No need for the screens (no bugs). Highly recommended!!!

This was an amazing spacious unit with an ocean view. It was very nicely furnished with all the amenities you could hope for including beach chairs, umbrellas boogie boards and cooler. We were very close to the pool which was large with a waterfall and had a fun sand area that our small grandchildren loved playing in. The kitchen was large with top line appliances and plenty of cookware and dinnerware supplied. It also had a large washer and dryer in the unit. The management company who we dealt with was very responsive and accommodating. The location in Wailea is close to both the Grand Wailea and The Four Seasons and in walking distance of the shoppes at Wailea. We walked to all of these places as well as to the beautiful beach. We will definitely stay here again.

Property was as advertised. Great location across the street from Wailea Beach and wonderful views of the ocean from the patio. Community pool and fitness were wonderful to have access to.
Family loved having 3 bedrooms to spread out and the kitchen had every item we needed for the meals we prepared. Overall just a fantastic property.
Having beach chairs, umbrellas and cooler was a huge plus for our beach days. Plan to drive to the public parking lot or rent a wagon if you plan to walk as it takes ~15 minutes to get there

This villa was perfect!! My husband and I took our young kids and his parents, and the space was plenty big to accommodate everyone. The house was very well equipped: the kitchen had any and every gadget/appliance/tool you could want to cook a five star meal, and the house also had all the kid items we could want (pack n play, gates, high chair, toys, etc.). I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

This rental was amazing. Literally nothing negative to say. Spotless, beautifully furnished, amazingly comfortable beds, everything you could ask for. We had a perfect stay. We are a family of 8. The view is spectacular/ There is so much room for a family. No one is on top of each other. The unit was spotless. Great kitchen to cook for a large group. It is well stocked with kitchen utensils and dinnerware. The bar-b-que was fantastic for grilling. We are most meals on the lanai. The primary bedroom is a dream. The pool is close and uncrowded and the workout facilities were top notch. The location was excellent. A 5 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of beach equipment. The beds were super comfortable. Communication was excellent with the management company. We will definitely be back. Truly 5 star.

This property is stunning and exactly as it is described and pictured. We traveled with 3 adults and 2 teenagers. Everyone had plenty of space. The community pool was quiet and lovely.
The walk to the beach was easy with chairs supplied by the condo. We had a few plumbing problems that were addressed immediately by the management company. We would highly reommend this propety.

We previously stayed at the Fairmont a block away two years ago. Our sleeping arrangements and the need for more space, laundry and kitchen, etc. dictated that we would look for short term rentals rather than a hotel resort. We couldn’t be happier with the choice. This is how we intend to do Maui going forward. First of all, the villas are part of a gated community that has its own pool with hot tubs, a poolside cabana massage option, waterfall and grotto, etc. during Covid times, it is much less crowded than hotel pools. At times we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. When I wanted to have more social experience with groups, we booked cabana days, well in advance, at the Fairmont. We saved about $300 a night and had twice the living space plus kitchen and laundry, a beautiful ocean view, and even a small patch of grass for the kids to play on.
For $300 a day, we were able to book cabanas at the Fairmont that gave us access to the hotel pools and beach, a stocked cooler and snacks. This proved really useful after our check out as we had a 9 PM redeye flight. We booked a cabana day for the day after our arrival and the day of our departure. This bookended our stay at the VRBO property quite nicely.
Across the street from the villlas’ gated entry is the public Wailea beach. The unit was stocked with beach chairs, toys and floats for the kids, and a cooler that we were able to take to the beach. I suggest making a short drive to the parking lot as it is a bit of a hike if you are coming back from the beach with equipment.
There are so many other ways in which staying at this villa was superior to the hotels. No waiting for a valet or having to tip, the ability to return home without a bunch of dirty or wet laundry, I just lots of space to spread out and have a great time. We even grilled steaks one night on the balcony.
The only star that I talked was that the check in process was a little bit confusing regarding the codes to enter and the Samsung smart TV in the living room could use updating. I suggest bringing your own Apple TV or fire stick if you want to use streaming services.
We really appreciate the hospitality of the host and management. It made for a magical stay and we would happily rent this unit again in years to come..

This was our second time to Ho'olei but first time in this unit. We stayed 17 days. We will be back to Ho'olei but definitely not come to this unit.
The good:
Communication with Laurel during booking and pre-arrival was very good and prompt.
The bed in the master was very comfortable.
The view is amazing.
I liked the location within Ho'olei - not far from the pool and a short walk to the beach.
Many floaties, boogies boards and beach chairs.
What desires improvement:
Some areas need more attention during cleaning, e.g. bathroom rugs.
The management company (Maui rentals) had very poor communication and not the best service. When we arrived at 9pm, we discovered tons of water on the kitchen floor. Short story long, water had to be shut off until the morning, a plumber fixed the leak partially in the morning and was supposed to come back complete the job, left a bowl for dripping water. No one ever came back. For 17 days. The dripping water stopped after some time. The 10ft baseboard was lying on the kitchen floor during our whole stay.
We asked for extra sheets and a blanket (so that two kiddos can sleep separately, not on one bed). It took 4 days and over 10 messages to get them! It would have been easier to buys some.
Same story with the shades in the second bedroom. They were not working during the whole stay, no sun in the room. When we reported to the company, they asked for the number of the battery for the remote. We never heard back. It would have been better to know we were in our own and try to fix them by ourselves.
Small isues with a property are ok. Poor communication and response is not.
The listing advertises 1 day between guests. We asked for noon checkout (in stead of 11) and were told that is not possible because of other guests arriving at 4pm. When we arrived, the dishwasher was used in the afternoon. Upon arrival, no time between guests/cleaning crew onsite.
Next time, we will probably pick a unit in Ho'olei managed by Grand Wailea and enjoy all their facilities + much better management service + towel service on our departure day.

We loved this property. It allowed us to spread out and have plenty of space and the amenities were terrific. The lanai was absolutely fantastic. The many beach chairs and boogie boards for our use were so helpful! Access to the beach was just ok (easy walk just not super simple to navigate exactly how to get to the beach without walking through the grand wailea) but of course worth it once over there and our favorite beach requires a drive anyways. The pool is lovely. There are shops within walking distance and anyone familiar with Wailea knows it is absolutely stunning there.
Downsides: One of the bedrooms didn’t have electricity and the company responsible for attending to our needs during the stay took 3 days to answer our calls and then scheduled a technician for 7 days later (after our stay).. the lanai furniture is so comfortable and wonderful but in desperate need for professional cleaning or new cushions due to staining from prior guests.
These were minor issues and overall we highly highly recommend this property!
