The condo unit was perfect for me! It was so easy to get all around the island for a week. The view of the sunrise, sound of the waves, and walk along the beach was the absolute highlight of my day. I appreciated having a washer/dryer so my laundry was done and packed for my return trip home. I would definitely stay here again. Anyone worried about only having an AC in the bedroom need not worry. When in the living and dining room, an AC is not needed with the tradewinds. I slept sound with the AC in the bedroom.

The place was perfectly located just south of the center of Kapaa. The apartment was clean and had a great view of the ocean. The only downside is if you are on the lenai, there is a old broken down building to your right which is a bit of an eye sore. The building is also off a main road, so it can be a little loud at night time and early in the morning.

My husband and I stayed in one unit and our daughter and boyfriend stayed in the other. They got engaged while we were here! The views were breathtaking and the units clean and very comfortable. We saw seals and a turtle swimming right below us and watched a fisherman catch and release a shark during one of our morning coffees on the lanai. Shayne was so responsive to all our maneuvering when we thought we’d be unable to spend our 2nd week in Maui because of the fires and so gracious when we found out we could. Not only do I highly recommend this unit, but I know we will be back soon.

The place is as advertised. The view is fantastic and the A/C in the bedroom is a must. The location is great for being centralized in Kauai. Close to restraunts, the beach and fun activities. The only small downside is the large amount of road noise. Great place overall though

We enjoyed our stay in Kauai very much. Overall the condo was good bargain and location. However a few things were not as perceived on the website photos and information. The view as shown was great of the beach and water from in the living room until you stepped onto the balcony your view was of a burned out abandoned building just below balcony level. OK that's not horrible and yet it was not as shown. A bigger deal for us was the lack of A/C in the entire condo? There was only a large noisy A/C stand alone unit in the bedroom which didn't come close to providing us with the cool temps we would have liked in the living room, kitchen, bathroom. We were told to open the balcony doors and enjoy the trade winds??? Hmmm, trade winds gave us alot of warm/hot humidity in the condo vs a comfortable temp. They did provide multiple fans which did help alittle. Condo was very comfortable as rental for 10 days and we liked the location alot since it is mid island and gave us easy access north or south. Next trip we will look for a different place mostly because of the A/C. I suppose if we were locals we would get used to it as was mentioned to us by a person from housekeeping. We chose to enjoy our good fortune to be in Kauai and not s literally sweat the small stuff. I think the owner could do better on the website info based on my past experience as rental owner of condos in Florida for many years.

We have been rejuvenated ,refreshed and reenergized. The place was awesome and we can not say enough about location. We spent a lot of time on the lanai over looking the beach and listening to the crashing waves. 🍷💖🌅

We stayed a week, accomodations were nice and the washer dryer was a huge plus. Our view was great and the breeze and sounds coming from the ocean were lovely. The only downfall we had was construction happened on the road directly in front of our window all night. Thankfully it was only one night. I do request that next time we would like to cancel the 4am rooster alarms. :)

Perfectly located in the middle of the island for easy driving to all points of interest. Perfect for 2 people with the a/c in the bedroom. Nice and cool at night. Good breeze through the condo during the day with the windows and back door open. Nice decor and plenty of towels, beach accessories etc. Easy access to the beach and a little bistro across the street. Coconut marketplace is within a short walk also. We had breakfast on the lanai watching wind surfers and played cards there at night listening to the ocean. Great stay, We definitely recommend and will stay there again.

My partner and I had a wonderful, romantic getaway. We loved staying in this beautiful condo by the water. The host was gracious and accommodating. The lodging were clean, comfortable great location and everything and we loved listening to the waves each night. The hose provides AC we didn’t need it, but we enjoyed the trade winds blowing through the house every night. A wonderfully stocked kitchen with everything you can imagine anymore and a great location.

This condo is centrally located on the island, allowing you to easily travel north to Princeville and Hanalei Bay as well as south to Poipu for sunsets and turtles. Would come back tomorrow if I could!

The host provided a lot of information before check in which made planning super easy. The room was clean and cool upon arrival. Everything was provided by the host. Parking was easy and always available. The only issue we had were a few flying cockroaches in the room one night, but we didn’t see them after that. Overall, a good place to stay.

I stayed here with my friend and we had a great time. The kitchen was well stocked and has so much more than expected, which was great since we ate most meals there. The property manager is very sweet and helpful. We also used the pool on the days we needed a little downtime, and it has warm water and was quiet and relaxing. We both really appreciated the quiet environment of the whole complex, aside from the street noise behind us. The location is walkable to a wonderful bakery across the street, as well as Coconut Marketplace. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Shayne!

Perfect for our needs. Visiting friends staying near Coconut Marketplace. Great lanai, comfortable, clean living areas. Property manager was welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay.

Arrived late in the evening to find music playing softly, lights on in the apartment, and a very welcoming atmosphere. In the morning, the ocean stretched before me.
Exactly what I had hoped for!
Because there is nearby highway construction, there is some traffic noise at night. The sound of the surf usually drowns it out.
Parking is easy. There’s a gas station across the street. Staying on the east side of the island made it convenient to drive to attractions on both the north shore and the south shore.
If you are lucky enough to meet the housekeeper, Marvis, she will enlighten you with wonderful island stories.

The view is amazing…. My only concern about the unit itself, was that it’s listed as air conditioned… which is only the bedroom.
It worked great in there, but in the living area it was quite warm.
Overall tho, fabulous place, and a great week on Kauai!

We arrived at the condo and the building and grounds are immaculate, so clean. The pool area is so clean and well taken care of by the on site Manager and he is very friendly and welcoming as was the cleaning lady, very friendly:)
Entry to the condo we rented was very easy to access and has everything you will need except your groceries! We went to Walmart, Safeway and Coscto.
The bed was very comfortable with air conditioning in the bedroom and all linens were available and clean including all your bathroom linens as well including beach towels! In suite laundry makes the stay easier as you can dry and wash the beach towels or whatever else you may to wash.
This is not the owner or building manager’s issue but there is a vacant building next to this condo building and unfortunately this suite’s patio looks out onto the building which is being occupied by homeless people. It’s very unpleasant so we were unable to enjoy time on the patio as they were right below looking up and the smell travels in the heat which is unpleasant. Again the condo owner has acted on this when I addressed the issue and hopefully they can be evicted to make things better. The view otherwise is absolutely stunning and being able to watch the sunrise and sunset was spectacular.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back to this building in hopes that the homeless shelter will be gone by next time. It is centrally located and easy access to everything:).

The bad: the neighborhood is a little sketchy. It is basically right across from the old Cocoa Palms that was destroyed in a hurricane 1992.
The ugly: We rented this particular unit based on the view and the “just steps to the beach”. When I walked out on the balcony you immediately notice that you are overlooking the old beach bar from the Cocoa Palms that was destroyed in 1992. There were several homeless men living there which made us very uncomfortable going to the beach adjacent to the property. It’s very unfortunate for the owner because it isn’t his fault that they haven’t taken care of this eyesore in 30 years.
Elvis may have stayed at the Cocoa Palms and part of Blue Hawaii was filmed in that beach but he has left the building and it needs to go!

This little apartment was just what we were expecting! It had everything we needed for our family of 4 (even ketchup and soy sauce in the fridge, which didn't seem necessary until it was). The beach view was peaceful and the constant sound of the waves was exactly what we were hoping for. The kids slept on the pull-out couch and didn't mind the sticky heat of the night - we adults really enjoyed the air conditioning in the bedroom! We used the complex pool more times than we expected, as it was a nice warm temperature and VERY clean.

We had a comfortable stay in this cozy place. We enjoyed the view in the balcony as pictured. The place was clean when we arrived. It’s equipped with everything we need, we just buy our food. The host/owner is responsive with the details and information we need. The condo is close to the places we chose to explore!

The property was great! We were very happy with the Condo and would recommend it highly. It was represented accurately in the listing and overall we truly enjoyed our time in Kauai. Know that the main area does not have A/C, but with the doors to the lanai open and the ocean breeze coming thru, never really missed it. Thanks Shayne for being a great host. T & S

This condo was remarkable. You really don’t need to go anywhere because the million dollar ocean view is right in front of you. We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay.
Kitchen: I love cooking and this kitchen has everything. The attention to detail was impressive — even fresh ice ready for us when we arrived.
Bathroom: Looks recently remodeled. Soft water and impeccably clean. Again — you name it, they had it.
Washer/Dryer: Easy to use. And, you guessed it, even detergent included.
Bedroom: Very comfortable. New windows as advertised. When you close the door it’s pretty sound proof…can’t even hear the waves.
Location: It’s steps to the beach. A beach that you’ll have virtually to yourself. Safeway, Target and Walmart all within 5-15 minutes.
Communication: This is what sold us on choosing this location. Shayne is extremely responsive and easy to work with. It’s clear he takes pride in this rental.
I could go on. Thank you Shayne for an amazing 6 nights! We’ll be back.

I have never stayed at a condo that had absolutely everything: kitchen gadgets, small appliances, serving bowls, wine & martini glasses, all sizes of pots and pans, condiments, oils, spices, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, paper towels, ETC, ETC....fully loaded. The best was the lanai and the views of the ocean - hard to beat. The furniture was well-appointed, new carpet and I enjoyed looking at the art work on the walls, too. Plus, it was very clean (which I really appreciated). When I arrived (late), the condo was lit, the fans going and Hawaiian music was playing - very welcoming, for sure. With all of that said, the condo/building is very close to the road and you hear it all day / night long.

This condo is in a wonderful, quiet location, close to beaches, and the perfect midpoint between the south and north sides of the island. The ocean views are gorgeous! It’s near several good restaurants, a shopping center, and right across the street from the excellent Passion Bakery. The condo is well outfitted with beach gear, kitchen items, and thoughtful touches. We appreciated the thorough communication from Shayne throughout the pre-check-in process. We would definitely stay there again!

Shayne is a great host, he's very responsive and shares a lot of great travel tips for your stay once you book! The unit is well kept and has a great view of the beach. It's ideally located just down the street from nice shops and restaurants. The only downside I can think of with the unit was it's proximity to a busy intersection, but the sounds of traffic quickly get drowned out by the sounds of the waves. The complex offers nice amenities too, like a rinse station for sandy/muddy feet depending on your adventure. I'd love to stay here again if I have the opportunity to travel back to Kauai.
