This was our first time to Maui. We love to cook, and had everything we needed, including spices. Everything we needed for the beach, such as chairs, towels, snorkel stuff and life belts. The bathrooms were updated, and clean. Beds were comfortable. Airconditioning worked well. Very quiet neighbors. If sitting on the decks the highway can be noisy at times (more like sirens from fire department). Beautiful sunsets, and we had a double rainbow too. We loved the location. Close to several beaches, golf, sights, etc. We loved visiting the blowhole, and dragons teeth close by. We also played golf on the royal course (north) which we were on the 13th hole. If you want to hit balls, The royal course will rent you 3 clubs for $5, and a bucket of balls was 10. We loved monkeypod, especially happy hour food deals and Mai Tai is a must try! Also, visit the sea house for breakfast (Napili).
I love pickleball, and would recommend the Lahaina civic center (free). and open play starts about 7:15 am, over Napili Park (which seemed to have their own sets that played there). There is also the Kapalua Tennis Garden that has open play from 9-11 am for 20$. Open play is Tuesday and Saturday. No one played at the condo's tennis court that I saw, while staying. The pool looked crystal clear, but never swam in.
We also ate at Mama's fish house. Didnt have a reservation, but visited the beach around lunch time, oneish and they had room at a table in the bar.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Everything was exactly as advertised and then some! The living quarters were spacious, everything was well stocked, it was very clean, and very comfortable. We were given a ton of information about the home and about the surrounding area which was very helpful throughout our stay. My family and I were very pleased with the accommodations and agreed that if we are lucky enough to come back to Maui, we would certainly stay here again! Truly a beautiful home away from home.

Well-established townhouse community with beautiful landscaping in Ka'anapali, particularly convenient to Lahaina and Kapalua. Lovely view across teebox, fairway, and green out to ocean and amazing views of nearby islands looking over/beyond Ka'anapali hotels and Whaler's Village on coastline. Townhouse had lovely, renovated kitchen and baths, upper and lower balconies where we spent hours enjoying the breezes and view - golf, sunsets, and that gorgeous, deep blue Hawaii water. Very thoughtfully equipped with just about everything you could need other than your own belongings, this place felt like home almost immediately. Parking is just a few steps from the front door, making frequent trips in and out a breeze. One of the best area beaches is about 1/4 mile straight down the hill. Walking not recommended due to lack of a footpath, a busy road to cross, and well, its a fairly steep hill, but you're at the beach in 2 minutes in a car - maybe 3 if you get a fresh red light ;) Renting and moving in/out was simple and easy. A few clicks online, a quick, friendly email or two. Door was programmed to a self-selected code, so we walked right in upon arrival. Barb was quick and friendly to answer any questions. This was our first time to Hawaii, and we very much hope to come back as soon as we can. When we do, we hope this will again be our comfy and convenient home base. Thank you Barb for making such an enjoyable property available for vacationers to enjoy!

Our family spent an amazing week at this home. It was comfortable and extremely well equipped with everything that you would need. It was very well located and not far from great beaches, snorkeling spots and amenities on Maui. Our family enjoyed breakfast every morning out on the lanai facing views of the greenery and ocean. Excellent location with beautiful view of the ocean! Amazing whale-watching from the lanai! Bring binoculars. This property easily accommodated 4 adults. Loved having a wonderful beach close by which is in walking distance if you don't haul a bunch of beach gear. Public parking by the beach if you get there early. We appreciated the prompt communication of our host to any of our questions. Had a wonderful stay in Maui!

We all enjoyed this beautiful home. The view is the ocean is stunning. My favorite thing about Hawaii is the sunsets so this did not disappoint. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. I appreciated that there were cleaning supplies and we didn’t have to go buy any of that. We were even greeted with goodies and coffee!
There is so much to do in the area. We had to drive most places but you can walk to a beach and a few restaurants. Thank you for a fabulous week!

We had a great vacation and this place was perfect for our family. We all had our own space and the place was clean! Great location and Barb was always there if you needed anything. Kitchen was stocked with lots of spices and cooking stuff. We enjoyed nightly sunsets on the lanai!

This condo is amazing. It’s location is perfect for seeing the sunsets and peaceful atmosphere of Maui. It is close to all the activities and stores that one might seek. It is well kept and very enjoyable. If we return to Maui we would definitely rent this again.

We choose the condo for the view, the lanais, the open concept, comfortable seating for four adults, spacious bathrooms and good size kitchen. We were not disappointed. Rather it was better than the online description. Also enjoyed the snorkel gear, beach chairs and beach towels. The condo's central location made it easy to explore the island.

I have been going to Maui almost every year. This is the first time I stayed at Kaanapali Plantation and… I loved it so much more than my previous accommodations of many years. Family perfect condo with AC, updated elegant bathrooms. Tropical furnishings. Very clean. Everything you need is there. Barb contacted me to assure we settled in OK. The best snorkeling place in Kaanapali is 90 seconds away by car. View is awesome. I could not have wished for more

Waking each morning to rainbows over the ocean wasn't something that we expected as we selected our vacation property, but this is exactly what we say each morning as we sat on the lanai and had our coffee!
Perfectly located for our family, walking distance to our favorite beach and conveniently situated near our snorkeling store- this property provided the perfect home base for adventures and a restful place to return to each day.
Grateful for the opportunity to stay here, and hope to do so again in the future.

I lucked out in finding this home! Three bedrooms with the screen pulled across the second bedroom was perfect for my family. All beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms and kitchen recently remodeled. The condo had everything we needed. Barb left us a beautiful basket of island goodies which greatly appreciated after a difficult day of interrupted travel and an extra covid test required in LA.
My family loved sitting on the lanais! The ocean views are amazing. Having our coffee out there each morning was so peaceful. Sunsets were incredible! We loved the coastal hike near the condo. Beach is a three min walk. The condo is in great condition overall. Some windows, etc still need updating. But, the clean and spacious environment with comfortable bedding and beds were a priority for us and Barb’s house delivered! Also, we spent the last two days in Wailea at a hotel. I am SO happy we stayed in the quiet and less hectic Lahaina. Thank you so much Barb! We are so excited to return some day. We had such a special time in your home.

Location: Awesome location in the heart of Kaanapali. Walking distance from the beach (~5-10 mins); Close to Whaler`s Village (5mins) and Lahaina (10mins) which has all the Restaurants to spend the evening.
Condo/Property: Awesome views from the balcony for breakfast & sunsets ; 2bedroom, 2.5 bath Condo feels new & clean. Well-equipped with everything in a house. Well-stock kitchen, AC works well , beds were very comfortable; TV equipped with online content, Good internet speed to Work from Home VPNs. The Master bedroom is huge with big bath & a balcony with a view ; second room is big and can be divided into two smaller rooms with a partition. doesn't have a Balcony.
Host: Host was Awesome, Perfect Communication and response time. Very Helpful.
No issues in our stay and Loved our Stay for a week. Will stay here again on my next visit.

We really enjoyed staying here. It's very large, nicely remodeled kitchen, three (3!) bathrooms, large master bedroom. It was totally clean, with no tropical bugs :). Furniture is high-end--no Costco/Ikea specials here. The master bedroom feels like a high-end hotel suite. Ceiling air conditioners worked very nicely to cool the upstairs, and the downstairs was never too hot because there is a breeze. The expansive layout, very large lanais (deck/patios) and nice kitchen makes it ideal for a stay with kids. Loved using the tennis courts--condo has tennis rackets and balls. Pool is small but cute and very refreshing. Complex was very quiet--it felt like we were the only people there! I wish that the divided bedroom had its own air conditioning unit, as we had to keep the divider open so that it wasn't stuffy, which kind of defeats the purpose of the divider. Also wish that both sides of the divided bedroom had beds, so that it felt like a true 3-bedroom (right now one side has a pull-out couch). Nonetheless, the condo is fabulous and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I have already recommended it to other families. Also, major bonus--it is directly across the street (about a 3-minute drive) from the best beach on the entire west side of the island, Kahekili Beach (also known as "Black Rock"). I HIGHLY recommend walking to the south end of the beach and snorkeling there--lots to see. This condo is also ideally located only 12 minutes from Lahaina town--trust me, this is MUCH more convenient than staying in Napili or Kahana. Also, there is a Times Supermarket only 5 minutes away. Again, very convenient for families. A+!

Great location. Although not affiliated with the Westin, it is just down the street with free public parking and beach access. It is easy to enjoy a drink or get lunch at one of the Westin poolside bars from the beach or during happy hour if desired. Both lanais are comfortable and spacious with views of the golf course, ocean, and sunset. We had a great time. Bed in master bedroom was extremely comfortable. Not sure why mopeds are not allowed on the property, but be advised someone takes that prohibition very seriously. We popped by to grab some things after picking up our moped rentals and were chastised for parking for under 20 minutes. If you plan to rent mopeds for more than a day, you will probably have to find somewhere else to park them. This was the only "issue" we had the whole week we were there though. We would definitely stay here again. Barb was always helpful and responsive leading up to and during our stay.

We have been to Hawaii( Oahu ) once before and both the properties we rented ( me and my siblings) were nothing like the pictures put with the listing in VRBO .
We were skeptical to rent this condo , because we felt like it also may be a ‘ to good to be true’ scenario! Not at all!!! The pictures are exactly what you get - an older , but updated condo tucked away in a nice quiet corner of Kannapali Beach! Super easy and quick to get to all the great beaches , snorkeling areas , shopping centers but also nice when you want some quiet time sipping a drink on the lanai overlooking a beautiful golf course , watching the sunset over the ocean!
They left our family a beautiful welcome basket full of goodies , left very detailed instructions and advice about the area. And we really enjoyed the equipment that was there to use ( beach chairs and snorkel gear)
We cannot wait to come back and rent from them again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The interior has been renovated and is a lot nicer than some of the other units that we saw on the property. Much more space to spread out than a typical hotel/resort.
