We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and well stocked , including beach chairs, towels, and beach toys. The pool was relaxing and beach was across the street. The location was good and had a great view of the sunset. Check in and check out was easy. The host, Chad was extremely helpful, giving suggestions for restaurants and places to visit.

There were 4 of us that stayed here. We all agreed the condo, amenities, and helpful information provided ahead of time and provided in the property raised this listing to a stellar rating. The property was very comfortable, well stocked and even had welcome coffee and candy. We've used VRBO properties before but this surpassed the rest.

This condo was perfectly located with an incredible view. We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets on the lanai. The beach park across the street is a perfect snorkel location. Access to the rest of Ali’i drive and plenty of food options was great. We spent a lot of time just relaxing and enjoying the peaceful and wonderful accommodations. There was so many amenities included. We would highly recommend a stay here.

The condo and the location were absolutely amazing ! Chad was very easy to get ahold of and answered all my questions about the area and condo itself.
We loved the ease of going down to snorkel daily or hanging by the pool.
The lanai was our favorite hang out spot when not out exploring the area.
We will definitely want to stay there again!

My family of four stayed at Da Kona Condo during spring break 2023 and could not have been more pleased with our experience. Communication with the owner Chad was easy. He was very responsive and provided lots of great tips for things to do and places to eat. We are so glad we took his advice to try the night manta ray snorkeling through Jack’s Diving Locker. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. The condo is very clean and well stocked. Had all the things we needed for outings to the beach and to cook when we wanted. We loved the pool, the beach views from the lanai, and the easy access to really great snorkeling. It was also a good base for us to visit other parts of the island including the Kohala Coast (great white sand beaches) and Volcanoes National Park. Highly, highly recommend this condo if you’re planning to stay around Kona.

We’ve been traveling and using VRBO for 20+ years, especially in the Islands of Hawaii. Chad’s condo in Kona was fabulous. Location was very convenient across from the bay. Condo was top of the line, beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you could imagine. We would highly recommend this 5 Star condo for anyone wanting a luxurious stay on the Big Island. There’s a reason this place only has five star reviews. Communication with property owner was amazing. Location can’t be beat right across from one of the best snorkel places in Kona. The condo was immaculate well stocked had everything that you would think of or need and then some. I’m not sure if they always do a welcome package but it was amazing. Thank you so much.

Beautiful condo with a spectacular view and acrooss the road from a wonderful snorkeling and surfing location. The condo location is ideal for accessing stores and other locations on the west side of the Big Island. Our go to place!

Everything was great during our stay at Chad’s condo! Centrally located yet far enough away from busy Kona town. Great snorkeling beach steps away, many more near by. Beautiful sunsets from the lanai. Clean, comfortable and convenient! Beach gear provided and an awesome fruit basket made this place over the top.

We stayed in this condo for a family vacation, with relatives in 3 other condos in the complex. This one had a few extras beyond what was provided in the others, and it's in the building with the elevator. The location was ideal for us -- we love to snorkel, and the kids wanted to try surfing. The pool was perfect for relaxing. If we return to Kona, I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful condo! Fabulous views! Snorkeling across the street was so cool seeing a turtle. The condo is VERY well stocked. Beds are very comfortable. You won’t be disappointed with staying here. Chad and Brit were very responsive. Chads website is a wonderful resource to plan your trip! So much to do, we hope to come back to Kona!

Really happy with this stay. Chad was very communicative throughout and the property was exactly as described. Spacious and comfortable and kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need. Used the pool, hot tub and grill and all were spot on. Kahalu’u right across the street was excellent for snorkeling. Note that it’s a pretty rocky entrance, as many beaches are on Big Island. While not required, water shoes definitely recommended. Bit of a drive to main part of Kona, but not too bad. The shopping center 3 mins away helps with good grocery store and a few restaurants to choose from (pizza place was solid and HH at sushi place was great). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Thanks Chad!

The condo was the greatest of all times! It was in a central location to everything. The owner was very responsive. The book of recommendations was extremely helpful especially on deciding which beaches to see! The condo has everything you need from beach things to dish soap and laundry detergent. I would definitely stay here again. We loved it!

We can't say enough good things about Chad (owner), Britt (local contact) and this condo! Our family would give this property more than 5 stars if we could. Chad was always helpful and responsive when we asked questions, and had excellent recommendations on everything. When we discovered the coffee maker was not working, Britt dropped off a new one the same day. The condo was spotless and had everything you could possibly need for your vacation. The location is perfect for activities both north and south, and the snorkeling at the beach across the street was the best we saw on the island. Our favorite activities included kayaking to the Captain Cook Monument and hiking the Waipi'o Valley. Our teens also loved the surf lessons from the surf shop down the street. Do not wait to book this condo - you will have an incredible trip.

The condo was a excellent location for our traveling on the side of the island. It was well stocked, very clean, and the snorkeling across the street was just fantastic excellent we even saw a little black octopus. Mornings were lovely having coffee on the lanai, and just sitting down by the beach for the sunsets were equally spectacular. Very nice location!

This is really nice property where we had both our children have individual beds and we were in our own room. We made use of the cooking facilities and the pool. The snorkelling at the adjacent beach is also very good. Convenient parking.

This property is somewhere we will come back to again. All of the other reviews are spot on. Wonderful location, clean, well stocked kitchen, bathroom, beach toys. Easy to check in, communication with owner a breeze. If you have a need, they are just a text away.
You go to Hawaii to unwind and relax, this is the place. You don’t need to do much planning, just read the welcome book that is waiting for you on the counter, follow the suggestions and have fun.

My husband and our kids (15 and 17) spent a week at “da Kona Condo.” The owner, Chad, was incredibly helpful— months before and throughout our trip. He provided excellent information about both the condo and activities in the area. He also helped us to navigate the tricky COVID travel restrictions.
The condo is beautiful and clean. We appreciated the boogie boards, towels and cooler. Location is great— beautiful view and close to shops, restaurants, beaches.
This is a fantastic property; we highly recommend.
