We had a wonderful stay in unit G104.
The unit was well stocked with everything we needed.
It was a great location, beautiful evening sunsets and close to all the amenities.
The hosts were always available we had one small problem with the shower and Dee had it resolved right away.
We will book again!

We had such a great time at this condo! The condo was lovely and just as advertised. The property was absolutely stunning with beautiful greenery, koi ponds and views of the Pacific. We enjoyed sunsets every day and honestly they’re the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen! Definitely recommend! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

This property is immaculate. The attention to details, from labelling cupboards & light switches, to providing a well equipped kitchen including a large selection of spices, made staying in this condo easy and comfortable. The king size bed was incredibly comfortable. The unit was quiet and the resort provided many activities. The owners responded to all of our questions in a very timely manner. Everything about our week in this condo was awesome!

We loved our stay in G104, especially the ground floor access to the beautiful garden, pools and amazing ocean views. The unit was exactly as described. It was very clean and the decor was lovely. This was a great location for accessing the PGA tournament at Kapalua.

This property met and exceeded expectations in every way. The condo unit was clean and equipped with everything you could need to feel at home. The location was ideal for us with the proximity to the Lanai pool, the large putting green and had just enough of an ocean view to make morning coffee or after dinner drinks on the lanai have that great on the water feel.
The location of the resort was equally ideal with several restaurants, stores and beaches easily walkable. Papi’s Ohana for their cinnamon rolls and pizza and Cruizin Cafe for their coffee are a must visit! A well equipped ABC store is easily accessed through a secure gate and a full grocery store and several more restaurants are just across the street. A very cool food truck park is also right next door.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property! It was perfect for us and the only bad thing was having to leave! The unit was well appointed, newly remodeled, beautifully decorated and the staff was friendly and efficient. We loved the location and the ocean view was gorgeous. Dee and Randy's condo on Maui was fantastic. The communication was great from the start. Checking in was easy and the process was clear. The property itself was very clean and comfortable. We loved the location. Basic essentials were available upon check in. Every morning we had coffee looking at the waves just steps from our lanai. I loved the pool/hottub, the putting green, and the access to the beach without having to leave. Thank you so much for giving us a wonderful experience during our time on Maui.

We had a great time. The property is beautiful and is maintained very well. Everyone is super friendly. The condo is very nice and is exactly like in the pictures. It was really clean and stocked with everything that you would need. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony and eating breakfast/dinner and seeing the ocean. We would definitely stay here again. Sunsets here were really amazing!

The condo was just as described. The location was perfect for us. Our group included other family members staying in different condos within the property, so it was very convenient for all of us. Walkability to shops, groceries, eating options and snorkeling. Lahaina is about a 10 minute drive. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at Dee's and Randy's condo at Papakea Resort in Maui for our honeymoon in June for about a week, and we were blown away by our experience there! Their condo is stylishly decorated, with an updated kitchen and appliances. We also appreciated that they had boogie boards, lounge chairs, snorkel gear, and umbrellas for the beach.
Their condo is positioned on the ground floor of the building with a view of the ocean, so we had a view of the sunset every night! They are also a short walk to the pool so we could take a dip in less than a minute's walk.
Their condo is in a prime location, less than 10 minutes to Kaanapali Beach and Whalers Village and close to downtown Lahaina.
Dee and Randy were also very accommodating, messaging us and checking in that we had everything we needed for our stay!

This condo has everything a family would need for a great vacation with amenities like washer/dryer, dishes, dishwasher, comfortable bedding, and beach gear (towels, boogie boards, chairs, snorkeling gear). The on-site access to pickle ball, tennis, putting, and shuffleboard helped to keep us active and all of the resort staff are professional and keep the property very clean. The pool and jacuzzi are steps away from the lanai and there’s a perfect view of the ocean and sunset every day. The beach walk from the condo all the way to the Sheraton black rock beach is safe and an easy way to see all the resorts without driving or paying for parking. The fish market is is also walking distance and one of the best places to eat or buy fresh fish to grill.
This is a ground floor unit and there’s a lot of noise from upstairs neighbors (rolling suitcases, water running for laundry or toilets during the night, loud talking, children yelling, etc). We don’t spend a lot of time in the condo but this was different from previously staying in upstairs units.
Overall, we had an amazing vacation and look forward to coming back soon. Mahalo!

Dee is communicative, professional, and passionate about the property and Maui. The place couldn't have been better for us, it even looks better than the pictures, very clean, and has all the beach amenities and accessories you could ask for, from towels to snorkeling gear, to beach chairs and boards.
The resort is very clean and has staff continuously cleaning and making everything welcoming to guests.
We recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Maui and we can't wait to go back and stay here.

We were thrilled with our suite at Papakea Resort. Dee was very communicative and thoughtful, a pleasure to deal with. The suite itself is renovated and very well-stocked. Our family rented 5 suites in the resort, and Dee's was BY FAR the nicest, cleanest, and most well-stocked suite. Being on the ground floor with kids was great, this suite is right by the putting green and pool (this resort has 2 pools and the pool this suite is close to is more shallow and so better for swimming with littles) so easy access for kids to run around. Location of this resort is excellent, walking distance to ABC, Farmer's Market (delicious açai bowls and organic food here), Times Supermarket, Fish Market. There is no sandy beach out front of this resort, fyi; we drove everyday to Baby Beach in Lahaina, which we loved for it's shallowness and no waves because of our littles. Great snorkelling + spearfishing there. Thank you, Dee! I highly recommend this vrbo.

Apartment is as described and amenities in the complex are very good and accessible. Anything you could think you may need for a stay was provided, we loved the fact that it had beach chairs and the beach towels. We really enjoyed our time and hope to be back!

Our family had a great stay here in Maui, especially after a long period of COVID lockdown.
The unit is located at a great location near Lahaina but not in the area that is very busy and tourist-focused. It was nice to be close to some of the northern beaches, which were much less crowded.
We like the slightly smaller feel of the resort; the condos are not a high rise but are a modest four stories with very well maintained grounds.
Our kids had fun at the pool and putt-putt golfing. The pool was regularly in use but seldom overcrowded, and we always found a set of seats easily.
The condo, itself, is comfortable, clean, and well maintained. It had everything we needed for our stay, including kitchen supplies and lots of beach gear. We looked forward to coming back in the evenings.
Food-wise, be sure to check out the food trucks just south of the resort and Fish Market Maui just north. If you need coffee and a good breakfast sandwich, Cruisin’ Cafe is right outside the front entrance to the resort as well.

This was the perfect place to vacation! A quick walk to the beach, beautiful pools and stunning sunsets! Definitely recommend renting a car or try taking the local bus, super convenient. The room was exactly as pictured and super clean. I would definitely stay here again!!

We loved everything about the unit. Next to a fish pond and 50 steps to the ocean. All interior furnishings were great, and the bed was supper. Papakea resort is located in a perfect spot, walking distance to everything. You don’t get the feeling of a crowded resort. We loved our stay!

We stayed in this unit for one week and the property was as expected. Nicely maintained grounds. This condo itself has been updated compared to many this age ….but some issues like knives in kitchen are a bit rusty and couch needs to be given some TLC or replaced. I appreciate no carpet in unit as this makes for much cleaner floors. It is a very good option if looking for this type of accommodation in this area.

The Papakea condominium management is A+. They are implementing Covid and general code of conduct diligently. This allowed for a safe and restful vacation.
Dee and Randy’s G104 unit is stocked with everything you need from the kitchen to the beach equipment. The unit is as described and well located in the complex. We did enjoy the main floor access to use the BBQ and then going straight to the lanai for dinner and sunset.
Communication with Dee directly was very helpful. She is responsive and made us feel welcome in their home away from home. We would definitely return to this unit when back in Maui.
Also want to mention this was our first time in Maui and we weren’t sure where to stay on the island. Papakea is well located and easily accessible from a secondary main road. You can walk to some small beach’s, restaurants and shops easily. We really enjoyed discovering the small town of Honokoway.
