Host checked in after first day to see if we needed anything and immediately sent over a handyman to fix screen door that was off-track. Graciously allowed us a later check out since our flight home wasn’t until almost midnight and no one was immediately checking in later that day! We sooooo appreciated that!! Would stay here again 100%! Highly recommend!!

This location and condo has absolutely everything you will need to have the most incredible stay ever! The amazing views, the beach, activities, restaurants, all the beach supplies, comfortable beds, air conditioning, and cleanliness! The condo is beautifully decorated and is very large. The air conditioning is a plus at night but never needed it throughout the day. We loved listening to the ocean and enjoyed the breeze during the day. You can snorkel, paddle board, swim at the pool, walk the beach, just so many activities! You really never have to leave. The restaurant on site is convenient and fun! There are also many restaurants you can walk to.
We would only do one thing different on our next trip….stay longer!!!

The Condo is well located north of Lahaina. I really appreciated all the utensils in the kitchen for cooking. Everything, and I mean everything was as advertised on the website. Most everything you could ask for as far a beach gear so you don't have to rent anything. Beds are comfortable and views of the ocean (yes 50 ft away), swimmiing pool, grounds, & Lanai in the distance are all fantastic!

My husband and I took my parents and twin boys to Maui for their birthday this year. We had no idea what to expect as we had never been. The condo was absolutely perfect! The location and view can not be beat. It was a lot bigger than I expected and very clean. The property is well maintained and the restaurant was a perfect place to grab a bite to eat and watch the sunset while the kids played in the pool. I would definitely recommend this property.

This place was fantastic. Great location! Kahana beach is beautiful and its just north of the tourist crowded Kaanapali Beach.
The view from the condo is breathtaking. Many whale and turtle sitings.
And the condo comes with all the amenities and beach gear you need to enjoy your stay.

This delightful, beautiful, spacious home made our Hawaii vacation simply perfect. The unit was spotlessly clean, and everything we could possibly use or want was part of the rental home or the storage unit. The deck was spacious, the beds comfortable, and the unit was very quiet. We saw whales every single day just off the shore. The beach in front was delightful, with soft sand.I had a few questions for the host, and he responded within minutes. We will definitely make this our go-to place when we return to Maui.

My family had a very enjoyable stay. The property was as nice as advertised with many conveniences and amazing views. Having the option to do laundry and cook in the kitchen was valuable for a longer stay, while having access to the beach house restaurant was great for vacationing. This is a beautiful condo. We had plenty of room. We got used to the whistling water pipes. John said he will have maintenance look at that. John had excellent paperwork explaining things. I spent hours looking at listings. If you're in the same boat, stop here and pick this property. The view is INCREDIBLE. Sunrises and sunsets every night. The property is updated and feels very spacious. I was concerned when John mentioned keeping the temp at 71 or higher. But, we found that 71 in the condo was actually pretty chilly in July. So we kept it at 73 and was very comfortable. It was nice having access to a washer and dryer and we found the location to be perfect for our plans. We would highly recommend this property!

We absolutely love the location of Sands of Kahana and the condo location to the pool and ocean. This is our second time visiting this specific condo for a much needed family vacation. We love the locker provided with umbrellas, chairs, a rolling cart and so much more! The condo itself is also amazing. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels and clean! Recommendation: new pots and pans (Teflon is scratched), only had one roll of paper towels. Would come back again!!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful condo with our family!!!

We had a wonderful time at the Sands of Kahana. We loved it mostly because it wasn't once of those large resorts where you are fighting for a chair. The beach was great as well as the swimming. It was calm enough to swim, snorkel and we didn't have to worry about jelly fish. There were also green sea turtles that were frequent visitors among the swimmers. It was very cool. The condo was perfect for our family of four and had plenty of room. It was clean, had a gorgeous view, lovely balcony and the pictures were an exact match. The AC was also a nice feature although we didn't use it all the time. The locker with the extra beach chairs was also a bonus as we used them daily. The owners were very nice and responsive leading up to our vacation and when we arrived. This rental met all our expectations and more and I would highly recommend if traveling to Maui!

We had an amazing 8 days in this condo. So clean and updated and fully stocked with everything we needed. The beach area was perfect with clear blue water and and sea turtles swimming about every day. The pool was beautifully maintained with perfect water temperature. We enjoyed the daily happy hour at the on-site restaurant too! Walking distance to a general store and a great coffee shop was a big plus as well. John was great to work with and very thorough with all the information. We will definitely be back!!

The condo is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. John provides all kinds of beach essentials including towels, coolers, and abundant supplies in storage. Our kids loved the boogie boards! We appreciated how easy it was to get down to the beach and pool. The ocean is also gentle at this location for less confident swimmers. The building has covered parking which is key for keeping your rental car cool from the warm Maui sun. The building location is convenient with several good take out options within walking distance or you can take a quick drive down to Kaanapali or Lahaina. Everything was really spectacular, but perhaps what we enjoyed the most was eating our meals, reading, playing games, and just generally hanging out on the lanai. We hope to return!

We could not have picked a better place for our family ladies trip (group of 6)! It has a very clean & simple feel to it, which I like. The layout of the condo worked very well for us. I love the way the doors/sliding doors make it easy close off rooms as needed, or to keep them open to give a more open feel and a wider view of the ocean. The table in kitchen and also on the balcony were both 6 seaters which gave us 2 places to eat meals & play our card games. LOVE THE OCEAN VIEW, and I even got my full rainbow over the ocean one day, right from the balcony! :) Beach is clean & beautiful (of course), and we also got to see some sea turtles. We had one minor issue upon arrival, but as soon as we contacted John, it was resolved very quickly for us. He really cares about his renters and wants them to have the best stay possible. Overall, if we make it back to Maui, we would not hesitate to rent this property again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The condo is exactly as described and pictured on the listing. It was perfect for my family of 4. We didn't need to bring anything but ourselves and a few clothes, as the condo and beach gear closet are fully stocked. We lost count of all the whales we saw every day from the balcony. We even got to swim with turtles on the last day right in front of the condo. The condo is close to restaurants, grocery stores, and great beaches and hiking spots. We also used the tennis courts a few times which are always wide open. Thanks, John, for the early check in and all the great advice! We'll be back.....

This unit is awesome! It has the best view for whalewtaching and a large table for all guests to eat and hang on the lanai. The views here just can't be beat with large windows and views of Molakai from the living room. The place is well cared for, clean, and has everything we needed--plus so many beach toys! The grounds of Sands of Kahana are perfect for families. You can watch your kids swim while getting food at the restaurant. And see the beach from the pool just steps away. The kiddie pool is also great, which we didn't spend as much time in this time since our kids are now swimmers but it's really comforting to have it there when they were younger. And if the main pool gets crowded. All in all, we would love to come back again and would recommend to friends!

My husband and I have been to Maui several times and absolutely love it. We took our nieces (ages 18 &21) this time and they had a great time. This is the 1st time staying at the Sands of Kahana. It was amazing! John was very easy to reach and his condo is the best place we have stayed while in Maui. Beautiful décor and has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. The location was perfect. Waking up to the ocean view every morning made it very hard to leave. We will definitely stay here next time we book our trip to Maui. Thank you John for sharing your little piece of paradise.

We had a wonderful 9-day stay at John’s condo. His home is immaculate, with everything you could possibly need to cook, play, and relax. We traveled with my elderly mother in law and 2 young kids and there was plenty of room for all to spread out and feel comfortable. We used the downstairs grills nearly every day and they were spotlessly clean. We also went to the restaurant downstairs every day. The food is not great, but it made it easy to grab a quick breakfast or drink when we needed. Our favorite part was the view from the condo. It’s stunning, and we spent hours watching the sea turtles swim by out front. My kids loved the closet full of beach toys. We had some trouble with not having enough trash bags and paper towels upon arrival but with a text, John quickly rectified our issue. Overall, it was an amazing visit, John was great to work with, and we hope to visit this fabulous condo again. Thank you, John!

John and Nancy’s condo is simply the best condo you could rent for any type of vacation in area of West Maui. Not only is the decor impecable and beautiful, it is spotless. And it is amazingly comfortable.
Our first impression when we first walked in was complete awe. The view of the water and islands of Lana’i and Moloka’i is simply breathtaking.
The attention to detail is something that needs to be taken in account. There was a NEW sponge, dishwashing soap and dishtowel right there next to the sink. There was everything in the kitchen you need: paper towels, spices, vinegars, laundry pods, pots, pans. I mean everything.
The appliances are all new: dishwasher, fridge, washer, and dryer.
Beds have great mattresses and bed sheets. We loved the ones especially in the second bedroom especially. Partner insisted on trying that same set on the web for our own home. Bath towels are nice and soft.
Things are also labeled to make it a breeze for people to not try to figure out how to do.
We accidentally spilled some drink on one of the rugs and they immediately called me to help get rid of the stain. They were the nicest and most understanding hosts you could wish for.
All they asks guests to be is energy conscientious. If you’re leaving for day, shut off the AC units. Don’t leave the sliding door open while having the AC, etc.
Btw: they gave me a real nice list of places they like to eat and shop for groceries. That is something many places do not do.
Simply said: This place is amazing. You will not be disappointed.

There are so many wonderful things to say about this condo!! The owner has tremendous pride of ownership and so everything was immaculate, and he was responsive throughout the booking process as well as during our stay. The ocean views from the balcony were gorgeous, especially at sunrise and sunset. The kitchen was perfectly appointed for cooking at home. It was a short easy walk down some stairs (or a quick elevator ride) to the condo pool and beach. The owner’s storage locker had everything we needed to enjoy the beach. The location was fantastic - easy to get anywhere on the island and only 15 minutes from the restaurants and entertainment in Lahaina. But the best thing about the whole experience was how large the condo was. After spending five nights crammed into various hotel rooms with our two teens, it felt so luxurious to spread out in this massive condo. The air conditioning was a wonderful bonus. Would absolutely recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay on Maui, and would definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect! The view is amazing! The beach is not crowded. There are even some black rocks nearby for nice pics. There are several restaurants/grocery store that has all the essentials/yummy gelato/Maui Brewery is walking distance too. We didn’t have a car and we made it work. Also there’s a restaurant onsite. We always did pickup for all food and brought it back to the condo for covid safety concerns. The condo has all the kitchen items you will need (even a bread maker which we did use) and pantry items will grow as people leave extra items behind (I like that John allows for pantry items to stay). Beds are comfortable! John is genuinely interested in you having a great stay. Book it!

The views from this condo are spectacular. We spent every morning and evening on the lanai. The location is perfect as you feel secluded while you are at the resort but really you are just minutes away from restaurants, Front Street, etc. Will definitely stay here again.

This condo has been tastefully remodeled, with a fabulous fully equipped kitchen, nice furniture throughout, and a fabulous master suite that opens completely to the living room and lanai.
The owner is a very good communicator and responded quickly every time we had a question. If you're looking for a clean, well taken care of condo just steps to both the beach and the swimming pool and hot tub, this is an excellent choice! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lahaina is the best place to be on Maui and the Sands of Kahana is a terrific location. We look forward to coming back and would love to stay here again.
