This unit does not have central AC, but cool ocean breezes and ceiling fans in each room. Each room is tastefully furnished with new and mattresses, plenty of space to store your clothes, and a safe for storing your important items.
Complex is tastefully decorated with numerous tropical plants and flowers. Our community pool is for guests only, and features a lava rock style, maitained extrememly cleanly, and a jaccuzzi. There are also barbeque grills to enjoy by the gated poolside.
Guests also have free access to our gym.
The resort is located right on Alii Drive, approximately 1.5 miles from the pier, and is the perfect location for Ironman competitors, as well as spectators.

Welcome to Kona, and the Alii Cove. I have been coming to the island for over 25 years and this Condo is the best place I have stayed. The grounds are immaculate and you have access from Alii, Drive and or Walua Rd. You are walking distance to the center of town and it takes 20 min. There is a bus stop just outside of the entrance for the Kona Trolly bus and it's free for everybody. It takes you to Keahou and to Makala St where the Target is. There is a white sand beach just across the road from the entrance with washrooms and showers. The pool and exercise building are clean and a short walk from the suite, remember to take the key and please don't let the gate slam for consideration of the other guests. The condo is the best suite that I have rented in my 25 years of travel. Large and spacious with comfortably appointed furniture and beds. I like to cook and the kitchen has everything you could need to prepare meals for your family. The patio is just the right size to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner faces west so you can enjoy the sunset while having supper. The host has a binder with local information that is an excellent resource for activities. The neighbours are friendly and a helpful resource for local information. This suite and facility are perfect for our family of four and I highly recommend it for your next vacation. I plan on returning to this condo next vacation.

This property is beautiful! The grounds are stunning and the pool area is wonderful! The condo is spacious and well maintained and has a huge view of the ocean. We could even see the whales from the lanai!! The beds were very comfortable and the condo tastefully decorated. We hope to return again next year .mahalo Melanie!,

Extended stay ...vacuum cleaner was broken...I fixed it but no simple hand tools on site. I planned to work on site but the internet connection was initially not adequate. Property owner was not present in HI, she was not initially clear about that. She did pay for another portable AC unit that I was required to. Pick up at Home Depot and install...Larry Krupa

Located on a beautifully landscaped property, with a nice but somewhat crowded pool. Great sunsets from the balcony. Clean, no insects. Good amenities, though really missed AC and fans only help a bit. Bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are nice, living room looks better than in photos. Really enjoyed that the mezzanine level has a desk and a bed for my remote work needs. Great location near to Kona town center.

Thank you Melanie for allowing us to stay at your condo. It met all our needs, as a family of five adults. The unit was freshly painted and very clean. The sleeping accommodations in the three bedrooms were excellent, with the mattresses being very comfortable. The kitchen allowed us to prepare meals when we wanted. Small appliances were available. The lanai provided a magnificent view of the ocean. Many coffees and meals were had on it.
The complex, too, is immaculate - lush and well groomed. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and used daily. A gym and barbecue were also available. The central location made for an easy 15 minute walk to all that downtown Kona had to offer. I plan to return to this condo and would encourage others to also consider it. Mahalo Melanie.

Property badly in need of thorough clean, especially kitchen cupboards. Several pans in the kitchen needed replacement as did most of the plates and bowls which were more suited to a hostel rather than a luxury apartment. The small broken window had been 'repaired 'using a brown Safeway carrier bag. The owner informed us that she already knew about the window. Be prepared to shop for kitchen and bathroom paper goods, dish soap laundry soap and a pot scourer within 48 hours as a minimal supply was available. Seven light bulbs were either missing or burned out with only one spare available. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable although the pillows seemed to have ancient stains. Yes, we enjoyed Kona and the Alii Cove complex but I recommend this property is renovated to bring it up to the standard of other properties in this complex.

What a Great Experience. This was a terrific condo and location. The Condo was very comfortable and well decorated. The appliances worked well and we had all the cookware and dishes we needed. The washer and dryer was very handy. The condo was very clean and well supplied with towels and linens, coolers, boogie boards, wifi, a big flat screen in the living room and one in the loft as well. The “Big Island Revisited” book and other travel information that was there was invaluable. We felt totally at home after only a couple of days.
The best thing about the condo was the terrific view. I’ll never forget that view of the Pacific, the big cruise ships and long canoes and the sunsets were magical. We have sooo many pictures.
The grounds around the development are beautifully landscaped and we used the pool and fitness center almost every day. We walked into town (12 minutes) often for shopping as well as a terrific luau the Royal Kona just down the street.
Melanie was very easy to work with and made the rental process a pleasure. We will be back for sure. Thanks for everything Melanie.

We truly enjoyed staying in this great location. It was wonderful walking into town each day.The condo was lovely and very comfortable. The condo was well stocked for all of your needs in the kitchen not to mention beach towels, boogie boards and a great electric grill. We had a lot of entertainment watching whales in the sea from our lanai. The other guests at this location are very friendly. The pool and fitness room are both great as well. We had a terrific time here and hope to come back again! Thank you Melanie for everything :)

Lovely condo, close to town without being in the middle of the nightlife. Friendly neighbors. A family community. Condo owner provided many of the beach toys needed for fun. Nice view, 2nd floor.
