The pictures of the facility are very accurate. The view of the surfers were something we sat and watch each day. It was amazing. My grandchildren went down the stairs and there was a small sandy beach right below us that they practiced snorkeling. It was very well equipped and even the two front rooms had little white noise machine to help everyone sleep. Would highly recommend this unit. Thanks for a great experience

Very nice stay. We had a wonderful time. Accommodation was as expected. lovely location and well stocked condo. People should know that the most convenient way to enter condo requires 4 flights of stairs. A minor critique is that the paperwork required to complete the reservation is time consuming and extensive. Not the norm for this type of reservation. perhaps this could be improved.

The condo was well furnished, very comfortable and most of all, perfectly located with a beautiful view to enjoy nearby beaches (including the small one at the bottom of the stairs) and drives to Volcanoes NP and the visitor center at Mauna Kea Observatory. The barbecues worked easily plus the cook gets a fabulous Hawaiian sunset if you time it fight.

Just as described in the listing - right on the water, and a small convenient beach if you don't have the time to drive to a beach. Very comfortable unit and very nicely renovated. We were 5 adults, and there was plenty of space. It was great just sitting out on the lanai, listening to the ocean and enjoying the view.

The property location is awesome! Condo 401 is great. Its clean with updated style, nice artwork, fully appointed kitchen, beach items, comfortable beds, and million dollar views from the lanai!
One small thing. It's probably time to replace the toaster.

This condo is well appointed and comfortable. Even with 6 of us staying there we never felt like we were on top of each other. The view of the ocean is fantastic and I’ve never slept better listening to the waves at night. Location is very convenient and minutes away from some great places to eat. We will be staying here again for sure.

This condo is a rare treat! It's located on the top floor of a small four-story complex overlooking a private beach and one of the top surfing spots on the island. The views are incredible and watching the surfers is so entertaining! Even though it's a surfing spot there is a little protected inlet that's like a small pool for kids to safely enjoy the ocean.
The condo was spotless and felt very clean and safe. Every room has been very thoughtfully decorated. I loved the Hawaiian-themed artwork and relaxing color scheme. The kitchen has everything you'd need to make meals for a family of four to six. The beds are comfortable and the space is good for four people (six if you have little ones). The owners have done a great job of making the most of every inch of space available. The master bedroom AND bathroom overlook the ocean with the constant sound of the waves. The other two bedrooms look out at the volcano, but you do need to contend with the sound of traffic and the occasional obnoxiously loud car or bike. The privacy of the unit and condo is fantastic. You definitely feel like it's just you and your family. We all loved this condo and would stay here again.

It was a great family vacation with teens and grandparents. The view overlooking the ocean can not be beat! The trolley was so easy and took the us into town without any issues. Kona Coast was so quick to respond and helped us get in early to the condo when we arrived an hour ahead of schedule. I would definitely stay here again.

My family & friends stayed in this lovely 3-BR condo that was right on the ocean. Watched surfers during the day and beautiful sunsets in the evening. We ate all meals on the deck which was a nice feature. The condo had plenty of dishes, glasses, cookware etc. There were also beach chairs, beach umbrellas and cooler to use. We didn’t use the beach adjacent to the condo, preferring instead to go to a sandier beach. We had a wonderful time and would definitely rent this property again.

This property was perfect for our family vacation! Being right on the coast meant we got beach time in every day. Location was perfect for the activities we had planned. Loved that we were in a corner unit on the top floor - it didn’t even feel like we were in a complex. Unit had everything we needed and was the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. 100% would recommend!

Spectacular ocean view and location. So great to watch the daily surfers. Unit was well appointed. The beds/pillows were amazingly comfortable. Located approx. 2 miles from shopping area. There is a trolley that runs multiple times a day to this area. Would def. recommend this unit. Side note: unit is on the 4th floor a distance away from the elevator for anyone with walking difficulties.

Great location, very roomy, enough for 6 adults. Beautiful views and everything you need for the beach and a great vacation. Two of the air conditioners did not blow cold air and it’s hot on the 4th floor, toilet broke but maintenance did come fix it at some point and one of the air conditioner units, never did get the parking passes that we were told to put in our cars! Condo is missing a few items, but great for the most part. Elevator is way far away, but there are stairs right by the unit if you park at the end. 4 flights is a lot especially if you were older! Love being right on the water!

Nice location and view. Property very clean and well maintained.
Our rental was located on the 4th floor and needed to take the stairs since there is only one elevator located in the middle of the complex.
The main bedroom is on the ocean side so you hear the waves at night. However, the other bedrooms are on the Ali Drive side and can be very noisy/loud at night.
The main deck/patio is small and the table and chairs take up much of the space. So not much room for more than a few people to relax and watch the ocean.

We enjoyed waking up every morning to see surfers out having fun and having our own private Lanai to watch the sunsets. Nice to be on the trolley line between Kona and Keauhou so we didn’t need to worry about parking during busy times in Kona. Lovely little sandy beach right below our lanai.

Enjoyed the stay with family with free parking and an awesome view watching the ocean waves and surfers. It was close to lots of shops, beaches, and restaurants and a great location for major tours for pickup. The condo also had beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and swim gears. Laundry washer and dryer were in the unit, which was a plus!

We loved our stay in Kona! The property exceeded expectations--everything was updated, and brand new beach chairs, snorkel gear, and lots of nice extras were included. The hosts also were so helpful in recommending restaurants and even booking an excursion for us. Would definitely stay again if I ever get the opportunity to come back to Kona!

The location was great. The outside veranda was the perfect place to see tens of surfers on a daily business. Also, the orientation with regard to the sun was great as you would be able to sit outside without cooking under the sun. Finally, the small but clean beach was a great place to enjoy the great weather. We would return anytime.

Great location, perfect size for the 5 of us. I would update the beach chairs; we lost a chair on the last day of our stay to the arm rusting right off. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this property.

The condo was in a great location, clean and ready for us at check in. Costco and Safeway are a short distance from the condo. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking with a full size refrigerator. Comes with a washer and dryer which was very handy to have!!! We did find that the pictures on the website made the condo and lanai appear slightly larger than they actually are.
We found the beds to be very comfortable, but 2 of the 3 beds are built higher which requires a shorter person to use a footstool to get into bed. Also, both the indoor and outdoor dining tables are taller, making it more challenging for a shorter (5’ or under) person to get into the chairs.
We spent most mornings and evenings enjoying the beautiful ocean and watching the sunsets. It was also fun watching the surfers or using the hot tub located in the complex. We would not hesitate to recommend this condo when visiting the Big Island.

Incredible location and stay in Kona town! The condo had incredible ocean front views and we fell asleep to the roar of the ocean. The entire place was updated and perfect for a family or small group. Bonus: the best poke on the island (da poke shack) is right in the front parking lot. Breathtaking lanai views and incredible value! We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Kona!

We stayed here with a family of 5 including 2 kids aged 5-7. Everyone loved watching the surfers and the beach in front of the building is nice to sit and relax on. The apartment is beautifully updated, very comfortable and the AC works great. Highly recommended!.

Incredible! Great location; great views; right on the ocean! Sea turtles in our "backyard"; sunsets/sunrises; beautiful condo!! We were a party of 6 and this condo could easily sleep 8 (pull out sofa in living room). I didn't want to leave!!!!!!

This complex offers the most amazing views! Our condo was very well appointed with anything we needed (kitchen, linens, beach items). The beds were very comfortable, everything was clean, and we were pleasantly surprised that all 3 bedrooms had air conditioning. We didn't need it much but it was nice to have when we wanted it. The location is fantastic being close to town but also close enough for activities south of town as well. DaPoke Shack is on the property and we loved getting poke and eating on our lanai a few times. This was our 3rd time renting in this complex and we will keep coming back. Waking up every morning to the surf crashing below, watching sunsets on the lanai and always having the entertainment of the surfers at Banyans makes this an outstanding value! The resorts cannot match this view!
