Property was good, could use some updates but certainly fine for our need. The wing of the property we were in was under construction right next to us. That became a bit annoying day after day but we enjoyed our stay. Property staff was great, Managenement staff was great, location was great, not being in Minnesota in February was great.

Unit 422 has a cockroach infested kitchen. We had to keep all our food stored away in the fridge and microwave. Had them running around the coffee machine, up the sides of the stove, coming out of the burners and running under the fridge. Looking at other recent reviews they had the same experience. The property manager denied anyone bringing this up before, which is funny because the recent reviews prove otherwise... Some of the reviews they responded to. Ha. The property owner did manage to bring us ant traps. When we pulled clean plates out of the cabinet dead ants where between them. They attempted to fix the sliding door by putting some WD40 but it did not help, it whistles with any breeze of wind and is very difficult to open. Probably why there are bugs, no seal on the front or back door. They said they will buy any chemicals we want to kill to roaches .. just what we came on vacation for. Lastly, the bedding had an airport baggage sticker from a previous occupant. They sent us a new blanket. The unit could be nice if it was maintained. Highly recommend not booking this place unless you want to deal with what we did. We spent the first week of our honeymoon at a different property and it was very clean with no issues whatsoever. Avoid this place at all cost!!!!!!! **However I will note that other units with the actual hotel might be nice, this one is just owned by a rental property organization. The hotel grounds were nice and well maintained, the building is so close to a nice beach and walking.

Our stay was very nice, the place was clean, there were extra towels. The washer and dryer was a bonus. The only thing we didn’t like was a couple bugs would come out at night. Not sure what type, but looked like the roach family. The bed was big and comfortable and you can see the ocean from the room/balcony. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice location, but the condo was outdated and missing lots. The kitchen was missing essential utensils, and there was a cockroach on the counter. The condo did not many beach amenities (chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc..). It also did not have an instructional manual in the condo. We would stay at Kaanapali Shores again, but we will be choosing a different condo next time.

The place had bugs all over the kitchen. Left a pineapple out for about 10 mins and it was swarmed with bugs. The sliding glass door didn’t open properly. The toilet didn’t flush well and the shower didn’t drain.

Property managers were excellent in making arrangements for us to come in a day earlier than we expected. Communication and check in were super easy! Condo is well-maintained although the bathroom just needs some updating.
The grounds of the resort are absolutely stunning! Two great pools and a great coffee shop down in the lobby!
Our favorite part about this condo was the location! Walking distance to everything you need! Grocery store, restaurants, and the food truck park!
Condo also has great TVs with good cable for the days you just want to lay around and be lazy on vacation! We would definitely stay here again!

I like that we didn’t need a key to enter. The keypad was very convenient. The condo was very clean and welcoming and we felt right at home when we arrived. I will definitely inquire about staying here again next time I visit my paradise.

First, I'm from Chicago, not from Emeryville. The property description was only partially accurate. There was an ocean view, but it was only visible if you were sitting in one corner of the balcony. The couch and bed were very comfortable, but the furnishings were generally dated. The bathroom and all tile work really needs an update. The shower did not drain appropriately the entire time we were there. The most disappointing part was that the only hotel amenity we had access to was the pool. Everything else was off-limits due to the "condo"/owned unit we stayed in. It was GREAT to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Overall, 3/5 stars. Adequate for what we needed it for (a place to sleep) but needs a facelift.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and very comfortable. We did have some issues with trying to get both tv’s to work properly and the kitchen, although it had everything we needed, was VERY limited. Having friends over for a meal was difficult with only 4 forks. Overall though, it was a great vacation and we did enjoy the condo

We have stayed here before. We really like that there is a restaurant on premises. The condo 422 is nice. It has a slight ocean view. The air conditioning works well when needed. There is a little noise from the parking lot below, but this wasn't a real problem. The condo was in great condition. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Be sure to take the free scuba diving class. This is oceanfront and they have a beach that is about 100 feet wide. There are two pools and both were maintained very well. The management company responds to emails very quickly and was very responsive. The beach is rocky about 300 feet into the water. Be sure to wear water shoes.
