So many great things to say!! However, would suggest much better lighting, more linens, boogie boards and umbrella, kitchen consumables like Saran Wrap, oil, spices, etc., carpet cleaning, sharper knives. A bit dated but great value!! Did not get very good customer service from Coldwell Banker who manages the unit. Would stay here again.

The rental process was quick and easy. Found the price to be lower when you book straight with CBIP Vacations then Costco or other sites. The place is very well situated. The community is clean and quiet. The unit has a beatiful view of the ocean. Almost felt like being at a resort. The unit came with several beach accessories. The property was very clean. My advice would be that they make a few renovations to the bathrooms. Aldo, it would have been great if it came with a few seasonings and oils. Besides that, we greatly enjoy our stay at the Palms. We highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you CBIP for the wonderful time.

We stayed for 15 nights and loved every one of them. The condo is massive, allowing our group of 6 to easily spread out. We had a few small issues during our stay, which is normal, and wich CBIP fixed immediately. The condo does show it's age (as most rentals on Maui do), but everything works and it was very clean. If I had to make one suggestion I'd say change out the showerhead in the master 's time. Tha ks for making our stay great.

Great room. Had beach chairs and snorkel gear for us to use. glad each room had air conditioning in the condo we stayed at. Plenty of room in the living room and bedrooms. Very nice view from the balcony. Get a very nice view of the sunset near the pool area. Room 2202 was excellent, although I did visit other condos where some of my relatives stayed and they only had air conditioning in the master bedroom. Guess not every condo has ac in each room. we got lucky with ours!

While the complex was great and the views from the room beautiful, this condo could sure use some sprucing up. While the needed repairs did not hinder our stay, items of repair were certainly noticed i.e. chipped paint, scuffed walls, stained patio furniture cushions, dated carpet, dusty corners, items found under cushions, broken sink top in bathroom, sliding windows not working, uncovered electrical outlet in bedroom and dirty windows. With that being said the unit also offered many great amenities i.e. nice Lanai, big bedrooms, huge living/dining room, washer/dryer, full kitchen with everything we needed, ice maker, many extras like soap, dish soap, extra TP, extra paper towel, extra blankets, extra sheets, extra towels, six brand new beach towels, garbage bags. Nice little welcome packages with coffee, snacks and chocolates. The pros definitely outweighed the cons. The grounds were lush and very well kept and the pool was huge and not overcrowded. We chose to drive to the pool due to the proximity of our unit. Beach and restaurants are just a short drive away. Had to contact Management Company after hours upon our arrival because the unit driveway entrance is located around the corner from where google maps shows the address and they returned my call immediately and directed us right to the entrance and unit. Very helpful and so pleasant! We would definitely stay here again if we ever have the opportunity to return to Maui!

We have stayed at The Palms at Wailea 3 times. We love the location and the property. This unit was a disappointment. When we walked in the large picture window is very dirty and streaked. The unit lay out is just as we expected. The towels and bath mats are mostly old and worn looking. One had stains. The master bathroom shower had moldy grouting. The guest bathroom vanity has broken away from the wall and has a line of rust. The toilet seat in the guest bathroom looks totally worn out as does the tub/shower insert. This unit is dated, and could use a remodel. However, it would be fairly inexpensive to address the easy items like towels, bathmats and grout. I have some lovely pictures if you are interested in seeing them.

We are quite unhappy with our stay. In fact, we had stayed in this unit before, in 2015. The unit is exactly the same as it was in 2014. There has been no updating. Even the small living room TV is the same.We noticed lots of ghost ants in the kitchen. We also saw cockroaches in the kitchen.We WILL NOT stay in this unit again!!!

WE HAVE STAYED AT THE PALMS THREE TIMES BEFORE AND THIS TIME WE WERE GREATLY DISAPPOINTED. THE UNIT HAS TWO SHOWERS-BOTH OF WHICH WERE BROKEN AND COULD NOT BE REGULATED OR SPRAY PROPERLY. . BOTH TV SETS DID NOT OOERTE PROOELY SNNF ONE NOT AT ALL. .THERE IS A HUGE CRACK IN THE SMALLER BATHROOM'S COUNTER. THERE ARE ALMOST NO ELECTRICAL OUT LETS AND EVERYTHING HAD THE APPERANCE OF BEING RUN DOWN AND UNCARED FOR.. THE CLEANIING CREW SHOWED UP AN HOUR BEFORE OUR DEPARTURE TIME. the garbage disposal makes very loud noises and is damaged.. Considering these issues I EXPECT AND REQUEST APARTIAL REIMBURSEMENT.

Overall the place was great, but there was a couple of issues. The beds were not comfortable at all. Matter of fact they were really hard as a brick and needed to be replaced. We had bugs in the kitchen daily and there was a huge crack in the guest bathroom countertop where it was missed a quarter inch section. Other than that it was good. Just hate we didn’t rest well while in this beautiful state.

This condo was spacious and well stocked, with beach, chairs, towels, umbrella, and even snorkel gear. Morning coffee on the balcony was a highlight, as well as the beautiful pool! Walkable to the beach and accessible to any part of the island. Our family loved our stay at the Palms at Wailea!

Cons: First of all, this is NOT a two bedroom for adult couples. The wall to the second "bedroom" is a louvered wall that provides very little privacy. You can hear everything. The second bedroom had a small dresser with no place to put our luggage. A luggage rack in that room would have been nice.This biggest complaint was that fine details. The rugs in the primary and guest bathrooms were disgusting, the bedspreads are old, the shower curtain/liners in both bathrooms were gross. The shower in the main bathroom needs to be cleaned. The patio furniture is comfortable but also in need of cleaning. This unit is in need of a deep clean. During our stay, they were completely renovating the unit next door Monday through Friday, 8-4 of our stay. CB Vacations was unaware that the work was being done, so they made it right and took care of our requests in a timely and professional manner.Pros: The location is terrific, close to everything. The property is well kept up and quiet. The pool is lovely, while not fancy, it is very clean, lounge chairs are in good condition, and it has great facilities (restrooms, seating area, refrigerator access, etc.). There was ample parking while we were there in late September and had two cars.The living area is nice and spacious and the AC in all the rooms worked great as it was hotter than usual in Hawaii this time of year.This would be a good unit for a family with younger children or just one couple.CB Vacations was great, and we will be booking with them in the future.

The booking was easy, checking in was a breeze. I will say, the main address takes you to the main building / reception area. Our condo was actually down the street a bit further so it was difficult to map but we found it within a few minutes. Aside from that, everything was wonderful, even down to the complimentary gifts / snacks they provided. Mahalo for the stay!

Ok let’s start with the single positive attribute of Palms Wailea 2202 - the location. However, a tent pitched on the side of the rose in Wailea would also be a great location. Onto the condo itself. 2202 was clearly last built, decorates and maintained in the 80’s. Overall maintenance is poor. I mean really poor. Vanities in bathrooms are separating from the wall. Hinges on cabinets don’t close properly and need replacing. Musty smelling and paint and wall damage. Now let’s mention the bugs. Ants...Both the crawling and flying kind. Read other reviews. Ants have been a problem for a while now and the management company is aware s they graciously left Raid any traps (thank you?!?). For the price point in Wailea you can do better. Much. Caveat emptor.

We understood going into this rental is was not luxury, that was not what we were looking for that. We wanted functional for an active family specifically knowing we wouldn't be spending a ton of time in the unit. Especially wanting a unit with facilities that could support our activities...washer/dryer so we could pack light but keep clean. CBI rentals is the property manager for this unit and they were calling us before we had even left the rental car lot about needing access to fix the washer/dryer. Unfortunately this was not the only thing broken in the unit, but they didn't mention this during the first call. The cable also was not working in the living room area, the counter top in the guest bathroom is completely cracked and starting to separate from the wall. The cabinets in the kitchen are flimsy and don't always close, the dishwasher is not anchored to the cabinets and it almost tips over every time you open it...and good luck with getting hot water at the kitchen sink. Let it run for a while it will eventually warm up but it might be a minute or two before it gets there. CBI called 3 different mornings acknowledging the issues but each call was made by a different person so it was like starting all over again. They eventually said the dryer would not be fixed during our stay and offered a $100 credit for the inconvenience. They also eventually offered laundry service but my trust with their reliability was pretty much gone at this time.
The positives I will give this unit are it's location in Wailea. It is an older complex but the grounds are still very well kept. It appears other units around us were likely more updated and possibly better. The pool area is very nice, but the pool is very warm and doesn't feel very refreshing when it's 85 degrees outside. The proximity to Keawakapu Beach was by far it's best asset! We or our teenagers could walk down there within minutes and the beach is fantastic. There is a nice path both to the north and south for running with a mix of sand, trail and sidewalk surface if you like running.
We enjoyed our visit to Maui tremendously and would recommend the area. We made this rental unit work but I can't say I would recommend it unless they did some serious maintenance. It's frustrating that a property management company puts customers in units like this knowing they are not up to standards listed on the website. Look for another unit and try to verify it's been updated

This unit was very comfortable and spacious. The sunset views from the loving room picture window were amazing. The location in Wailea is convenient-so many incredible beaches nearby. The A/c units are a big plus-quiet and effective as it is hot. The unit could use some updates and the beds are not very comfortable/hard. Also the small allotment of trash bags, dishwasher and laundry soap is a joke. Checking in was easy and management company responsive. The Andaz resort is nearby and fun for drinks or small eats as well as sunset views.

This unit should not be rented in its present condition. The owner does not take any pride in keeping this unit up-to-date. There were problems with both plumbing and electrical.
1. The drain in the guest bath was plugged. It took two calls and two plumbers to fix it.
2. The water connection under the master bath sink was dripping.
3. There was a leak from the refrigerator, could cause a catastrophic fall on the tile floor.
4. The garbage disposal roared like a jet engine. I felt sorry for the guests in the unit below.
5. The light switch in the master bathroom worked occasionally. This was never fixed.
6. The TV was very small and old. Not a Smart TV.
7. All of the cupboard doors in the kitchen are crooked and don’t close properly.
8. The couch was ‘thread bare’ in places.
9. Walls had chipped paint and dirt smears on the front door.
It really wouldn’t take a lot of money to bring this unit up to the Palm community standards. It is evident that the owner has really let it go……

This is the 8th year staying at the Palms for us but the first in this particular unit. It is a great location and a nice quiet part of the development. The unit is showing its age a bit more than the one we usually stay in but that does not take away from its cleanliness and versatility. It is still a lovely home that is nicely decorated and we wouldn't hesitate to come back. One of the best features of these units is having your on BBQ in addition to being at the quiet end of the property. All in all a great place to stay.

We traveled with out 2 kids (14) so we need a little space and 2 bathrooms. Unit has full kitchen, washer drier & beach toys. We drove to a different beach everyday.

Very well stocked. The until was just what the pictures show. It was handy having the beach chairs and extra snorkels and floats to borrow. Easy getting in and out of the unit and great area and many of the best beaches close by. Great big window to view the sunsets from the living room. It would have been nice to have more dishwasher pods for how long we stayed and when I called to ask for more I was told they can’t provide more than a starter amount. Besides that I was really happy with the condo and the location.

The unit was clean, very large and had all the amenities listed. The location is about a 7-10 minute walk to the beach and is within 10 minutes drive to almost every good South Maui snorkel spot. Traveling to Maui was a little squirrelly, but the stay at the Palms was smooth. Good communication up front and simple directions when we arrived. Actually didn’t see anyone face to face or speak to anyone at the complex. They have the entire process handled very smoothly.

We had an amazing stay, the view is incredible and we watched many sunsets from inside and outside on the lanai. The condo is super spacious with a large table, which was so nice for the kids to use for Zoom school. The beach was a short walk away and beautiful. The complex was private and quiet, perfect for our stay. The management took care of any concern quickly ( we needed a new can opener and the drain was clogged). We had a wonderful time in this relaxing and beautiful condo. We would definitely stay again!

Fantastic stay at the condos during a month long staycation. All covid precautions were in place. The management kept us informed on all state policies before we arrived which helped us with a hassle free flight. The condo has a beautiful view, large windows throughout the rooms and everything you need for staycation. The maintenance staff is friendly and prompt, so are the reservation team and the concierge team. Location is fantastic, with walking distance to beaches, beach walks and a quick drive to all restaurants and shopping. 3 grocery shops are nearby.

We loved it, have stayed in other units at this location but this was our favourite because of layout and view. The only shame was that our vacation got cut short due to Canadian travel advisories and having to come home early because of Covid 19 border issues.
Hopefully we can redo the trip once the world settles down and things get under control again.

The condo was very nice, would have liked to have had a in room safe that we’ve had in other rooms at the Palms but all was well. Any issues we had ( propane tank not working, sink was clogged first time we used it) they responded in a reasonable time. This condo is at the bottom of the resort so if you don’t want to walk uphill to the pool I’d stay closer to the top. But that didn’t affect us. Overall enjoyed the condo.

We loved our stay here. Everything was exactly as we expected from the listing, and the check in/out processes were seamless. We arranged for a pack n’ play to be delivered ahead of time, and it was even set up for us when we arrived!

Very spacious, gorgeous townhome in an upscale neighborhood, not far from the luxury resorts. The home is by-no-means new, but spotless. We were able to accommodate 4 people in two separate bedrooms with ease. The AC worked perfectly and was badly needed as the temperatures were in the 90's. The kitchen was modern, with every appliance and utensil needed for cooking and dining. One parking place out in front, nearby. The view of the ocean was distant, but nice. Perhaps, best-of-all, the unit had just about EVERYTHING (cleaning stuff, beach stuff, barbeque, on and on) to make one's stay enjoyable. Key-less entry is great idea. Extremely happy with our visit to the Palms!! Tourist tip: road to Hana; Haleakala; Lahaina town; and Maui Wine in Ulupalakua. Unforgettable? Haleakala...you are nuts if you miss this National Park!
