This is a beautiful condominium. We loved that all main rooms face the ocean. The master bedroom is spacious and the unit is well equipped. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the Princeville area.

The place was very clean and the view is spectacular . The only complaint, when we arrived at Alikai it's just hard to find the Condo Number. It's very dark. I think, We went to 3 different doors to check the 6102 because the numbers are not very visible ! Over all , we enjoyed the place. We took care of the place just like our own home( strip the bedsheets and washed including all the towels . We made sure , we clean the kitchen. We will be back!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ali’i Kai! The unit was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. The layout of the floor plan is spacious and efficient, with a very nice (and large for size of the unit) master suite. I agree with another review I had read about this property, that the pictures do not do it justice. We would definitely stay in this unit again, if/when we return to the North Shore of Kauai.

It runs the full length of the condo and overlooks a tropical garden full of birdsong every morning with lovely pastel-colored sunrises. Parking is a few steps from the front door. Pool is close by and well-kept and we swam everyday. Community sitting area on a grassy hill that offers unobstructed views and wonderful sunsets. Close to everything in Princeville. Restaurants, stores, etc., yet condo property is very private. No A/C, but with the windows open and ceiling fans and constant ocean breezes, we thought the temp was always perfect. We can’t wait to return next year!!! Also, we enjoyed Hanalei Bay and the drive to the west, over the many little bridges and past the many beaches, to the end of the road. We highly recommend Smith’s Family Luau and Fern Grotto Riverboat Cruise to the south. Also loved the Kilohana Plantation Railway train ride—don’t miss it! Lots to do and see there.

My family of four thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We could wake up to the sunrise and the sound of the ocean, given the property overlooks the ocean. We basically had the pool to ourselves whenever we used it, and it was great for us and two elementary school kids. The beach toys, towels and chairs came in very handy. Wilds stay here again.

Everything was as stated in the listing, but the views overlooking the ocean from the spacious deck exceeded our expectations with whale and dolphin sightings most mornings and evenings. Parking was never a problem. Beds and linens were excellent. Furniture was comfortable, spacious and internet was easy and plentiful - we brought a Roku and used it to stream TV shows without problems. Well-stocked kitchen with island was in excellent shape and easy to use for preparing and serving meals and appliances including laundry all worked well. Shared outdoor grill was in front of the adjacent building and heated quickly with good instructions. Clean bathrooms and showers and nice towels. Two comfy beach chairs and large beach towels for sitting on in the warm tropical sun. Checkin and checkout was effortless and e-mail communication was thorough, so no back and forth needed. The big highlight was location. 1.5 mile walk to Hideaway’s beach and it’s impossibly small parking lot. Slightly less to Queen’s Bath, which was closed for the winter during our visit. Very close to Turtle Cove - read the online warnings and advice about this trail as it is more treacherous than the Hideaway’s trail and should not be attempted when wet. Short drives to Hanalei and all the rest of the North shore and it’s excellent beaches, views and experiences. Highly recommended!

When I rent a place for 11 days I need to have more then 2 rolls of toilet paper. The rental price here isn't cheap so I really think it's a reasonable request.

The view was fantastic once they removed the trees blocking the view. The tree trimmers did this on the third day of our stay. The king bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was reasonable stocked. Everything worked. Overall it was the best location we have ever stayed at in Kauai.

This is a clean, well maintained, updated property which shows pride of ownership. The condo was exactly as described in the listing. The check in process was very simple and Arrived was very prompt to respond with any questions/requests during our stay. The kitchen is adequately stocked with utensils for cooking and there are several gas grills available in the complex for grilling. Located on Kauai's North Shore about 45 mins from the Lihue airport, Princeville is a very peaceful town away from the hustle and bustle of the east and south sides of Kauai. There is a large grocery store in Princeville that stocked everything needed during our stay but would suggest shopping the better prices at Costco/Walmart in Lihue prior to driving up to Princeville.

A minor item; the bathtub drain stopper in the hallway bathroom is broken.
Also, the instructions for the tvs (under the glass on tables) are not correct.

Our family of 3 had an amazing time in your home. The home was beautiful and included everything a guest would need. The kitchen had everything including a 12-cup coffee maker for us to enjoy our Kauai Coffee! The beds were so comfortable and the temperature at night was perfect for a pleasant nights sleep! Comfortably sized rooms with comfortable furnishings. Amazing views, lovely birdsong in the morning. Wonderful location. Close to Hideaway's Pizza (don't miss it) and the perfect sunset spot. Beaches are close by too. A perfect easy stay. Excellent service from Arrived. Everything was immaculate when we arrived, and softer pillows were delivered almost immediately when we said we wished they were available.

I stayed a week with my wife, adult daughter and her friend. The condo was clean and fairly updated. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us and the two full bathrooms worked well. Our bed was very comfortable and the views are fantastic. We were able to watch whales from the balcony with the binoculars provided by the unit. We used the cooler and beach chairs that came with the unit. Parking was very convenient, we had the space right in front of the unit all week. We never felt the need for AC as the unit has a nice cross breeze. The only very minor thing that needs addressed is the folding door in the master bath. The handle has fallen off and it is difficult to open once you’ve fully closed it. Overall our stay was excellent and I would absolutely recommend the unit.

Comfortable place 200 feet above the Pacific and close to amenities in Princeville and Hanalei along with exceptional recreational opportunities close by in a tropical garden setting. Very comfortable and restful. Only thing we would knock, and this minor, is the micro-sized coffee pot. Well worth it. You’ll enjoy your stay.

As I'm sure you already know, we arrived after dark, because our flight was delayed. We first thought the Unit did not have a number on it, making it near impossible to find in that very dark time. In the daylight, we did see a small number, hardly visible from anywhere. We looked at night again, and the porch light casts a shadow where the small number is, making it impossible to see even when you re right there. I would suggest much bigger numbers, and even a 6 on the building, so it could be seen from the road. There is a road sign that includes buildings 5-6, but at night it would be much better to have a number on each building. In case you think I keep mentioning the numbers, you have to know that it is very DARK in that area.
The Unit only has a small 4 cup coffee pot. For four people who drank coffee, it would be too small. For the two of us, it was not adequate.
A second issue is that in the shower/tub bathroom, there are no grab bars. This is a real safety issue. A couple of them would make that area much more safe.
A bigger issue for us, is that after trying our hearts out, we could not get the TV to work. We finally called someone on Sunday—number on our paper work. They ran us through trying everything, and nothing worked. May be the modum. He ( my friend did not get a name) said he would see what he could do and get back to us. We waited all that afternoon and never did hear from him. We never did hear from him period. Not very good customer service. We certainly did not spend our week in front of the tv, but in the evening or early morning we like to hear the news. This time, there could have been a tsunami, but we only heard about it from the mainland.
I have stayed in the Alii Kai complex for several years and have never had issues.
We had a lovely Unit and appreciated it, but just a few things cropped up this trip. When we go again, we will stay with Alii Kai because it seems like our Kauai'i home. These suggestions above would not deter us from staying there again, but we hope you might take our suggestions seriously. Thank you. Mary Kelly. 12-19 January, 22

A magical experience! From the minute we stepped in the door and walked out on the lanai we knew we were going to love our stay. The view alone makes this unit an outstanding choice. We found everything that we needed and felt extremely comfortable staying here. The grounds are beautiful and the location is spectacular if you want to get away from it all but still be close to Hanalei. We would love to stay here again if we ever have the chance to be back in the area. Our group was a little concerned that there was no air conditioning quickly realized it was not needed because it has such a beautiful cross breeze! Thank you for amazing accommodations while we were staying on the beautiful island of Kauai!!

We had a great time at the condo. It had everything we needed for cooking, a ton of towels, it was clean and comfortable. The lanai is awesome, I would have my breakfast there every morning overlooking the ocean, easy check-in/check-out, I did not have to contact the host at all, everything was just working flawlessly.
It has a dishwasher and a washer/dryer.
The location is great and very quiet, close to 2 awesome hikes (turtle cove and queen's bath)

The views from the lanai and ALL the inside rooms are spectacular. The pictures don't do the location justice. With the occasional rains, it was nice to still be able to enjoy the oceanfront from the inside. The kitchen was well-equipped, which came in handy with the limited dining on the Northshore. The local Foodland store is a good source for both prepared foods as well as your typical grocery items. The location is convenient to all of the beaches and other activities. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to spend time on the Northshore of Kauai.
